Energy has an essential meaning in life to continue to develop and support economic and environmental activities. Every year energy in Indonesia increases rapidly in line with human growth. To supply energy needs, renewable energy sources must be developed. Renewable energy potentials such as solar energy have never been used on a large scale even though Indonesia has enormous energy potential. Solar energy can be used in the form of solar cells for electricity generation. The utilization of solar cells can help people who live in remote areas far from the electricity network. This research was conducted in Central Java by using descriptive qualitative methods and using research and development (R&D) methods. The technique used is an expressive qualitative analysis technique. The result solution implemented is to meet the increasing electrical energy needs of the community. This research produces renewable energy that can be used as a solution to solving the electrical energy crisis at an affordable cost and can increase the independence of the community so that it does not depend on government electricity supply and improve environmental responsibility behavior.

Availability of raw water is one of the problems faced in the provision of clean water services in Indonesia. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the quality of ordinary well water and drill water with physical parameters. The number of samples in this study were 12 drill wells and 12 ordinary wells belonging to residents in the City of Parepare and the total wells were 12 villages. The parameters observed refer to the Indonesian Minister of Health Regulation Number 479 / Menkes / Per / IV / 2010 concerning Water Quality Requirements and Supervision which includes physical parameters such as turbidity. Data collection methods used in this study were cross sectional or analyzed in South Sulawesi Provincial Health Laboratory Makassar. Based on the results of laboratory tests for measuring water quality as measured by one of the physical parameters, namely turbidity, there is a difference in value between ordinary wells and boreholes. The turbidity values measured in ordinary wells are 3 villages that do not meet the requirements of clean water quality, where all of the results are above the maximum set level of> 5 NTU, the kelurahan is watang Soreang village, Lompoe village and Galung Maloang village while the turbidity value is measured in drill wells are the result that meets the requirements of clean water quality where the results do not exceed the maximum maximum set level of 5 NTU. © 2019 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland. Precious metals offer lucrative investments appealing to investors globally, leading to a surge in demand for accurate forecasts. Published literature for prediction applications often employs Artificial Neural Networks (ANNs), possessing desirable generalization over nonlinear data and design flexibility. Recurrent Neural Networks (RNNs) are a class of ANNs designed for time series forecasts providing superior approximations. Nonlinear Autoregressive with Exogenous input (NARX) is an RNN model with high memory retention properties, applied in this study to predict ten assets from the precious metal futures market, for three-month predictions (April 2021-June 2021). Network inputs are evaluated through feature selection to filter uncorrelated factors from the network dataset. Accuracy of prediction is enhanced through multi-objective Response Surface Methodology (RSM) optimization, as several variables characterize RNN performance. Three key variables are selected for analysis through RSM, providing optimum configuration to obtain targeted outcome. Simulation results reveal that five assets produce acceptable result, showing an improved fitness through RSM-suggested configurations. Observations indicate intercorrelation between RSM inputs, highlighting its efficiency over conventional methods. Implementing additional RSM inputs to develop more complex models might achieve further reliability. This research provides performance improvement measures for RNNs utilized in financial data projections.

In this research we developed two triphenylamine (TPA)-linked conjugated microporous polymers (CMPs), TPA-TAB and TPA-TBN, through Suzuki couplings of tris(4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)phenyl)amine (TPA-BO) with the aryl bromides tetrakis(4-bromophenyl)benzidine (TAB-Br4) and 2,7,10,15-tetrabromotetrabenzonaphthalene (TBN-Br4), respectively. These CMPs, which have substantial surface surfaces and outstanding thermal stability, could be employed as electrode materials in supercapacitor (SC) devices. In a three-electrode SC, the TPA-TAB CMP exhibited ultrahigh specific capacitance (684 F g−1 at 0.5 A g−1) and long-term stability, with a capacitance retention of 99.5% after 5000 cycles (at 10 A g−1). Moreover, a two-electrode symmetric SC incorporating TPA-TAB CMP presented a capacitance of 117 F g−1 and a high retention of 98% when subjected to 5000 cycles at 10 A g−1. This exceptional performance resulted from was achieved through the use of redox-active TPA units and a large BET surface area (490 m2 g−1). Accordingly, such TPA-CMPs appear to have promise for use in charge and energy storage applications. © 2022 Elsevier Ltd

The rapid development of digital image processing technology can be used to simplify human life. This technology can be used in automotive technology which is also growing rapidly. Automotive technology leading to driverless automation cars is in dire need of image processing technology. This research aims to detect obstacle objects based on the detection of line changes emitted by line lasers. The line laser beam is captured using a camera and then using a Raspberry Pi to determine whether there is an obstacle or not. This research uses the Python programming language with the Hough Transform method. The Hough Transform method is used to detect lines in an image that is processed by looking at the consistency of the line laser. This research uses a box and a ball as obstacle objects. Research data collection was carried out in the afternoon in a closed room with an Illumination intensity of 10 Lux with parameters such as distance, camera angle, and line laser angle. An object can be said to be an obstacle if an image there is a laser line that is broken or not at the same pixel position. However, if in the image there is a consistent line or there is no line position change, then in the image there is no obstacle object. Based on the evaluation results of the calculation of the accuracy of the obstacle distance between the actual distance and the distance calculated by the program, the accuracy is above 90%.

Disasters are unexpected, sudden events that may cause monumental damages to both materials and human lives. Hence, the unpredictability and destruction that follow when a disaster happens to pose a dire challenge for researchers, scientists, and governments to find ways to effectively handle the situation and flow of information when such an event strikes. The Internet of Things (IoT) presents a solution that involves using one or more mobile devices connected over the network, thus making the transfer of data and information more effective and efficient. This paper presents a holistic analysis of the state-of-the-art IoT technologies which can answer the challenge posed above, in addition to the demand for efficiency, mobility, accuracy, as well as better communications between the command center and all actors involved in disaster operations. The applications of IoT have varied for many purposes. We divide those purposes into two broad strokes of pre-disaster management and post-disaster management IoT-aided systems. For pre-disaster management, the IoT-aided systems are mostly used to predict the possible disaster that might happen using sensors placed in strategic places. Finally, for post-disaster management, the IoT-aided systems aid in improving the effectiveness and accuracy of evacuation, relief, and victim-tracking efforts.

Distance learning is a learning process that allows students and instructors are in different physical locations. During the COVID-19 pandemic, various countries including Indonesia chose the distance learning option to avoid the spread of the pandemic. However, the implementation of distance learning is not without problems. In Indonesia, the problems to implement distance learning are enormous both in terms of equitable distribution of infrastructure and costs for accessing the internet. To overcome these problems, research about best distance learning tools and its implementation strategy is really needed. Therefore, this research aimed to analyze the strategies and tools for implementing distance learning that reliable and cost-effective for the student at the same time. Based on research that has been conducted by analyzing questionnaire surveys of 256 students in Indonesia, this research recommends tools combination strategy consists of Google Classroom tool as a learning app, Whatsapp group as broadcast messaging and Zoom as a video conference media for distance learning. This research also recommended to maximize the e-learning/learning app features for theoretical lessons and consider video conference just in practical lessons so that the distance learning costs become cheaper for students. © 2020 International Information and engineering Technology Association. Analysis of appropriate overtaking position under equal block lengths

This paper studies train passing operation and determine line capacity by checking minimum headway. The analysis is based on the blocking time model displayed on the time space diagram where minimum headway and minimum waiting time are calculated. The study found that the capacity is affected by the number of blocks and the overtaking block position. The graph between the overtaking position and capacity is symmetrical, in which capacity is reducing when the overtaking position is far from the center of the line. The overtaking position that maximizes capacity is not affected by speed nor block length. In the case of even number of blocks, the appropriate location to overtake is (n / 2) +1 while in case of odd number of blocks, the overtake position is at (n+1)/2 and (n+3)/2. Both positions maximize the line capacity for each case. In addition, when the block length was reduced the capacity increased and decrease dwell time. © 2019 International Association of Lowland Technology. All rights reserved.

Brain-on-a-chip models are rapidly being adopted in disease modeling and drug discovery,however characterization of the brain model condition often requires both the use of microscopy techniques and evaluation of neuronal activity. Although electrochemical techniques can offer the required selectivity between neuronal subtypes but also sensitivity in simple buffer solutions, a complete loss of electrode functionality is often observed when the brain model has been cultured directly on the electrode material or when recordings are performed in the culture *** prepared optically transparent sensors capable of accurately measuring dopamine at nanomolar concentrations in real-time. Furthermore, we displayed the recording of both spontaneous and stimulated release of dopamine from primary mouse midbrain culture for the first time, as measured inside the culture medium. Due to excellent optical transparency, we were able to perform fluorescence microscopy but also live-cell Ca2+ imaging through the ***, biocompatibility of the sensors was validated by various different techniques and by using highly sensitive in vitro brain-on-a-chip cultures. © 2024, The Authors.
