Cloud computing model in higher education

Currently, higher education is institutions that should be managed as a global business institution. Higher education should improve continually its business processes according to the demands of increasing its stakeholders. of the problems faced in the development of educational, activities if related to the use of information technology for each service in higher education for stakeholders is the issue of available funds. Cloud computing also has advantages related to infrastructure and maintenance and increases operating efficiency. Most institutions are currently moving towards cloud computing technology to reduce operational costs. For achieving these objectives, the institutions need to be supported by reliable technology. This study aim to propose cloud model for education and IT Governance conceptual framework for Cloud Computing model adoption, Tarumanagara University as a study case.

The complete mitochondrial genome of Argentine red shrimp,Pleoticus muelleri(Bate, 1888) was determined using the MiSeq platform. Its mitogenome (16,189 bp) encoded the canonical 13 protein-coding genes, 22 tRNA genes, two rRNA genes. Start codons of all protein-coding genes were ATN except for ATP8, while incomplete stop codons (T–) were identified in six genes including COXI, COXII, COXIII, NAD3, NAD5, and NAD6. The mitogenome ofP. muellerishowed highest sequence identity withParapenaeopsis hardwickii(82%) andSolenocera crassicornis(81%). Phylogenetic analysis showed three shrimps in Solenoceridae includingP. muelleriwere grouped together from those in Penaeidae, which suggests taxonomic reexamination for those in those family.

This paper write about UNP Extinc Metric. It is new approach and methods how to calculate extinc condition for wild animals especially bilih fish from Lake Singkarak. We introduce new criteria and ombine to seven categories from IUCN. For bilih fish we can calculate number extinc 49 and the meaning is endangered We conclude after that result we can conserve bilih fsh soon as soon for our life in biosfer.

Nuclear medicine is one of medical fields that uses ionizing radiation sources for therapeutic and diagnostic imaging for cancer. The number of nuclear medicine services in Indonesia is 17 hospitals, which only 10 is active in conducting nuclear medicine services because it doesn’t meet the requirements. Regulations about the standards of nuclear medicine services Indonesia are regulated by KMK number 008/MENKES/SK/I/2009 but it have not yet been discussed the requirements in details for building design and layout design as reference. For this reason, the author did study about the requirements of a nuclear medical service facility referring to KMK number 008/MENKES/SK/I/2009 and the International Health Facility Guidelines to create layout design of nuclear medicine facility. This study is done by comparing national and international regulation for planning criteria and construct layout design of nuclear medicine facility as recommendation to accomplish the regulations in Ministry of Health decree, Republic of Indonesia number 008/MENKES/SK/I/2009 regarding nuclear medical requirements.

Enhancing the yield and quality of Kemiri Sunan crude oil by preliminary extraction of feedstock

Biodiesel is an alternative fuel produced by chemical reaction between vegetable oil or animal fat with alcohol and catalyst. The preliminary treatment in extraction of biodiesel feedstock is an important process to obtain maximum yield of crude oil. This study aims to find optimal preliminary treatment on extraction of Kemiri Sunan seed in order to produce crude oil with maximum yield and quality. The research investigated the effects of screw press machine rotation and duration of steaming process. Three levels of duration of steaming used were 30, 60 and 90 minutes. Observations of crude oil yield, moisture content, free fatty acid content, kinematic viscosity, density and color were done. The result suggested that the rotation of screw press machine affected the crude oil yield. The duration of steaming process affected the oil yield, free fatty acid content, kinematic viscosity, density and color. The best oil yield result of 70.3% was obtained from the combination of heating duration of 60' and screw rotation of 25 RPM.

Weather forecasting has gained attention many researchers from various research communities due to its effect to the global human life. The emerging deep learning techniques in the last decade coupled and the wide availability of massive weather observation data have motivated many researches to explore hidden hierarchical pattern in the large volume of weather dataset for weather forecasting. The purposes of this research are to build a robust and adaptive statistical model for forecasting univariate weather variable in Indonesian airport area and to explore the effect of intermediate weather variable related to accuracy prediction using single layer Long Short Memory Model (LSTM) model and multi layers LSTM model. The proposed forecasting model is an extension of LSTM model by adding intermediate variable signal into LSTM memory block. The premise is that two highly related patterns in input dataset will rectify the input patterns so make it easier for the model to learn and recognize the pattern from the training dataset. In an effort to achieve a robust model for learning and recognizing weather pattern, this research will also explore various architectures such as single layer LSTM and Multiple Layer LSTM (4 layers LSTM). The dataset is weather variable data collected by Weather Underground at Hang Nadim Indonesia airport. This research used visibility as predicted data and temperature, pressure, humidity, dew point as intermediates data. The best model of LSTM in this experiment is multiple layers LSTM and the best intermediate data is pressure variable. Using the pressure variable this model has gained the validation accuracy 0.8060 and RMSE 0.0775. © 2018 The Authors. Published by Elsevier Ltd.

Environmental assessment of a large-scale production of TiO2 nanoparticles via green chemistry

Green chemistry concept is currently implemented in order to stimulate the development of sustainability processes and pollution prevention. However, not for all cases the use of this type of process generates an operation with good environmental performance, also in the development and evaluation of new topologies, such as the one presented in this paper, environmental assessment becomes in an important tool in order to optimize the process. In this work for developed a synthesis of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles from titanium isopropoxide (TTIP) via green chemistry. Environmental assessment was performed using software WAR GUI, which use Waste Reduction Algorithm in order to quantify potential environmental impacts generation and output environmental impacts for this process for 4 different cases. Results show that the process doesn't generate high potential environmental impacts (PEI) with a rate of 1.43X102 PEI/h for the case that include energy and product contributions, which represents a very low value compared to the total output rate for this case (1.21X104 PEI/h). For toxicological categories, it was obtained that for human toxicity by ingestion (HTPI) and terrestrial toxicity potential (TTP) categories exist some environmental impacts due to presence of TTIP in a high concentration, additionally these effects are increased by propanol, as a subproduct of the hydrolysis, and ethanol as solvent for the purification stage. For the aquatic matrix the potential impacts obtained was relatively low. On the other hand, it was determined for atmospheric effects that the presence of the alcohols in the process rises the potential impact related to the photochemical oxidation potential category.
