In the contemporary dynamic market, businesses must implement a reliable system to monitor inventory levels, process payments, and ensure seamless operations. Many organizations, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises, encounter challenges in managing their inventory and payment processes due to inadequate systems or reliance on outdated methods. These organizations often depend on manual record-keeping, which is time-consuming, error-prone, and inefficient. In this context, automated inventory and payment management systems have been adopted to address these issues. This paper aims to review the current state of inventory and payment management technologies, highlighting existing trends, research advancements, and strengths, while also identifying current limitations and areas lacking in research to foster future improvements.

This study proposes the design and analysis of an 8-way power divider for unequal division at 5.3 GHz for C band frequency. Many transmission line pieces make up the current power divider. These Transmission lines were printed on a substrate material (RT/duroid 5880, 1.6 mm thick, permittivity 2.2, and loss tangent 0.0002).The 8-way power divider's unequal amplitudes are constructed using Taylor's 1-parameter method to achieve the side projections levels - 17 dB down as from main *** proposed power divider consists of using 2 transmission lines with a 3/4 frequency are connected to branched microstriplines, providing excellent isolation and matching between the power divider's two output ports. This power divider is composed of three stages. A 1:2 power divider is used in the first stage, a 1:4 power divider is used in the second stage, and a 1:8 power divider is used in the third stage. According to the simulation results, 1:2 delivers half of the input power, 1:4 produces one-fourth of the power, and 1:8 delivers one-eighth of the input *** of these assessments were done with the Advanced Design System (ADS) simulation programme. According to both simulated and measured data, the return loss exceeds −35 dB, and the isolation across the output terminals exceeds −40 dB. The proposed circuit operates effectively at C-band frequencies in terms of return loss and isolation (4GHz and 8GHz).

To understand the factors influencing medical robot use, this study developed a conceptual model and hypothesized that personal innovativeness in IT, perceived usefulness of IT and perceived ease of use of IT positively affect attitude toward medical robots, which in turn facilitates medical robot intention and medical robot use. By analyzing data from 276 surveys from Taiwan’s respondents who have employed medical robots, we demonstrate a positive effect of personal innovativeness in IT, perceived usefulness of IT and perceived ease of use of IT on attitude toward medical robots. In addition, attitude toward medical robots has a positive effect on medical robot intention and medical robot use. The main implications of study for medical robots firms are to conduct business activities to stress perceived usefulness of IT and perceived ease of use of IT, they can use Ads to describe the functions and advantages to draw user’ attitude toward medical robots. © 2020, Springer Nature B.V.

Personalized federated learning is aimed at allowing numerous clients to train personalized models while participating in collaborative training in a communication-efficient manner without exchanging private data. However, many personalized federated learning algorithms assume that clients have the same neural network architecture, and those for heterogeneous models remain understudied. In this study, we propose a novel personalized federated learning method called federated classifier averaging (FedClassAvg). Deep neural networks for supervised learning tasks consist of feature extractor and classifier layers. FedClassAvg aggregates classifier weights as an agreement on decision boundaries on feature spaces so that clients with not independently and identically distributed (non-iid) data can learn about scarce labels. In addition, local feature representation learning is applied to stabilize the decision boundaries and improve the local feature extraction capabilities for clients. While the existing methods require the collection of auxiliary data or model weights to generate a counterpart, FedClassAvg only requires clients to communicate with a couple of fully connected layers, which is highly communication-efficient. Moreover, FedClassAvg does not require extra optimization problems such as knowledge transfer, which requires intensive computation overhead. We evaluated FedClassAvg through extensive experiments and demonstrated it outperforms the current state-of-the-art algorithms on heterogeneous personalized federated learning tasks.

The increase in antenna apertures and transmission frequencies in next-generation wireless networks is catalyzing advancements in near-field communications (NFC). In this paper, we investigate secure transmission in near-field multi-user multiple-input single-output (MU-MISO) scenarios. Specifically, with the advent of extremely large-scale antenna arrays (ELAA) applied in the NFC regime, the spatial degrees of freedom in the channel matrix are significantly enhanced. This creates an expanded null space that can be exploited for designing secure communication schemes. Motivated by this observation, we propose a near-field dynamic hybrid beamforming architecture incorporating artificial noise, which effectively disrupts eavesdroppers at any undesired positions, even in the absence of their channel state information (CSI). Furthermore, we comprehensively analyze the dynamic precoder's performance in terms of the average signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio, achievable rate, secrecy capacity, secrecy outage probability, and the size of the secrecy zone. In contrast to far-field secure transmission techniques that only enhance security in the angular dimension, the proposed algorithm exploits the unique properties of spherical wave characteristics in NFC to achieve secure transmission in both the angular and distance dimensions. Remarkably, the proposed algorithm is applicable to arbitrary modulation types and array configurations. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed method achieves approximately 20% higher rate capacity compared to zero-forcing and the weighted minimum mean squared error precoders. © 2014 IEEE.

The huge and continuous evolution in mobile communications industry increases the popularity and importance of mobile communications sector in daily life of communities. This increases the jobs in this sector since 2000 and huge numbers of university graduates' engineers are enrolled in working inside this field. However, the absence of industry-related mobile communications course has motivated electrical engineering department at Mutah University to develop a new and unique course that satisfies the industry needs and reducing the gap between mobile industry and academia. This paper shows that the bachelor degree in communication engineering is the most disseminated electrical engineering major. Accordingly, the mobile communications modules (courses) in Jordanian universities are analyzed to highlight the gap with industry needs and evolutions. To highlight the industry expectation and the required skills from newly fresh graduate communications engineer, an online form is distributed among seniors, juniors and experts' engineers in the industry. Finally, the new course objectives, context are established at Mutah University/BSc Communications engineering course plan. The results of the course workshops and the feedback provided by students and industry representatives indicate that the developed course and its approach have achieved the goal. © 2021 IEEE.

The solar power industry's technological advances are continually evolving, and advancements will accelerate in the next years. The efficiency of solar panels and the electrical output of solar power systems could both be improved by innovations in solar energy potential uses. Solar energy is absolutely renewable, which is the most significant advantage of solar panels. Solar panels for homes and businesses are becoming increasingly widespread, although they have not yet been made portable. Electronic devices like laptops, smartphones, and tablets have grown significantly in recent years. Additionally, regular charging must be done for these utilities to operate properly. The biggest problem, however, is that these gadgets need to be charged frequently. This paper suggests a smart bag model based on IoT and solar panels. The smart bag has a foldable solar panel on it and can hold weight. This baggage includes a variety of tools, including Tiffin heaters, spy cameras, GPS trackers, and connectors for charging mobile phones.

As one of the key technologies for deployment of future wireless networks, the state-of-the-art reconfigurable intelligent surfaces (RISs) have rapidly gained a massive interest among researchers. In a specific case study, we study the outage performance of RIS-aided wireless systems in the presence of non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA) scheme. In particular, different power factors are allocated to users which belong to a dedicated group. We the derive the exact outage probability of two users in a group. Specifically, it is assumed that the RIS is placed between the source and the users and the far user has better performance under the assistance of RIS. We also provide a comparative analysis to investigate the effect of the main parameters on the outage performance of our proposed system, such as the number of tunable elements of the RIS, power allocation factors, target rates, and the average signal-to-noise ratio at the base station. By using Monte Carlo simulation, we verify our analytical results via simulations. Our main results reported in this paper show the positive effect once we deploy RISs for guaranteeing fairness among NOMA users in wireless systems. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd.
