The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant was melted down by the earthquake and tsunami in 2011. The decommissioning tasks must be executed under a high radiation intensity. For the tasks, we have been developing a radiation-hardened optically reconfigurable gate array with 1 Grad total-ionizing-dose tolerance. In this device, dynamic optical parallel configuration architecture was introduced to increase the radiation tolerance. However, the radiation degradation evaluation has never been done up to now. This paper presents the first evaluation results of the dynamic optical parallel configuration circuit on an optically reconfigurable gate array VLSI.

This study aims to develop an edible coating based on virgin coconut oil (VCO) nanoemulsion, iota-carrageenan and alginate to prolong the shelf life of pindang (mildly salted cooked) fish products. The research involved three stages: material preparation, characterization and determination of factors and responses for experimental design;parameter optimization to achieve optimal conditions;and application and analysis of pre- and post-coating characteristics of pindang fish. The parameter ranges were 0.5–1.5% for alginate concentration, 0.5–1.5% for iota-carrageenan concentration and 0.5–1.0% for VCO nanoemulsion concentration. The result of this study was an optimized food coating solution that was clear and bright white in color. Pindang fish coated with this layer showed improved quality in terms of water content (48.46%), weight loss (0.39%), pH (5.84), total volatile base (47.01%), salt content (2.9%), appearance (7), texture (7) and slime (7). At the same time, the total bacterial count remained unchanged (8 log colony-forming units (CFU)/g), the mold count remained unchanged (5 log CFU/g) and the aroma and taste received a score of 6. Thus, this study successfully produced an optimized edible coating that can enhance the quality and extend the shelf life of pindang fish, making it suitable for broader market distribution. © 2023 ICE Publishing. The integration of 5G and VANET will result in an intelligent transportation system. Relay of 5G data from mobile networks to VANET which is greatly underutilized can reduce the burden on mobile networks. Wireless technology has been used in vehicles or better known as the Vehicular Ad hoc Network (VANET). One of the keys to the success of sending data on VANET is the Path Selection Algorithm which is the task of the routing protocol the routing protocol that is widely used in research in the VANET environment is AODV (Adhoc On-Demand Distance Vector), because among other protocols, AODV is the most suitable and suitable for implementation in the VANET environment, and AODV is also one of the reactive routing protocols. This study includes an increase in the performance of a routing protocol, so in this study, the SIN (Static Intersection Node) is added to the RSU (Road-Side Unit) which is located at an intersection. Which functions as a repeater that helps send data packets to other vehicles around it so that it can increase the Packet Delivery Ratio and minimize Packet Loss and End to End Delay the focus of this research is to determine the most ideal Static Intersection Node position as well as the most effective number of Static Intersection Nodes. © 2021 IEEE.

Parkinson's disease, as a definition, is a neurological condition that affects the brain and causes tremors, stiffness, and difficulties walking, balancing, and coordinating. Symptoms of Parkinson's disease normally appear gradually and worsen with time. People with Parkinson's disease may have difficulties walking and speaking as the condition develops. Numerous recent studies have shown a direct association between Parkinson's disease and the incident of having epileptic seizures, which is defined to be a burst of the uncontrollable electrical activity of the brain cells, that is associated with an increased risk of sudden unexplained deaths. This project aims to obtain a real-time seizure prediction system for Parkinson's disease patients based on the electroencephalogram (EEG) signals, enabling the detection of a seizure before it happens. This will hopefully save them from risky situations or sudden death, as they will be alerted and have the time enabling them to be prepared and take the needed precautions and steps to prevent the seizure from happening. For this project, we've used the Neural Network and the ANFIS ('udaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system '') to process and analyze the electroencephalogram (EEG) data signals of the Parkinson patients to detect seizures starting point. © 2021 IEEE.

The utilisation of cooling systems based on phase change materials has experienced a surge in popularity due to their ability to effectively reduce the temperature of photovoltaic (PV) modules. Phase change materials (PCMs) have been widely recognised as a highly efficient medium for thermal energy storage due to their ability to harness latent heat capacity. The low thermal conductivity of the material has been identified in many studies. In the current investigation, we have blended PCM with nanoparticles to enhance its thermal conductivity and electrical efficiency. We produce nanoparticle composited phase change materials (nc-PCMs) by combining lauric acid (LA) with three different nanoparticles: aluminum oxide (Al2O3), copper oxide (CuO), and magnesium oxide (MgO), in an optimal weight proportion of 94: 6. Lauric acid and these nanoparticles are chosen based on their ability to provide a significantly lower cost compared to commercial nanoparticles. Research has demonstrated that the incorporation of nanoparticles increases thermal conductivity, resulting in a decrease in the PV module's temperature. The findings indicate that a combination of LA and MgO in a proportion of 94: 6 constitutes the optimal nc-PCM. This composition demonstrated a 5.2 °C reduction in PV module temperature, which resulted in a notable enhancement in the average electrical efficiency of 14.11%. Furthermore, the power output increased significantly to 14.18%. © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

The purpose of this study was to obtain pie susu mocaf-spirulina products with local fruit varieties (pineapple and Balinese grapes). Mocaf (modified cassava flour) has characteristics similar to low protein flour and gluten free. Spirulina is a type of blue-green algae that is considered a super food because of its nutritional properties that are very good for health. The research method includes 1) experimental trials of the formula for mocaf spirulina pie susu, in the variation of the addition of spirulina to the formulation of mocaf pie susu 2) conduct an Organoleptic Test, with an instrument using the Visual Analog Score (VAS) for the Hedonic test (preference) 3) Perform an Organoleptic Test, with an instrument using VAS for the Hedonic Quality test (quality). The results showed: 1) obtained a pastry formulation (skin) of mocaf pie susu with the addition of 2.5 gr of spirulina (0.5% of the weight of the ingredients) ained mocaf pie susu formulation with the addition of 2.5gr spirulina to mocaf pie susu with pineapple and grape vla;2) The level of preference for mocaf spirulina pie susu (pineapple vla and grape vla) is the color of the likes category, the texture of the likes, the aroma of the likes and the taste of the likes. 3) the quality level of mocaf spirulina pie susu (pineapple vla and grape vla) is greenish color, crunchy texture, pastry fragrant aroma and sweet taste. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Depression is a mental health issue that impacts over 300 million individuals worldwide. Daily anxiety impacts the relationships of depressed individuals with their family and friends, affects their health, and, in the worst-case scenario, leads to suicide. Due to the an increase of social networks, a vast majority of people now express their thoughts, feelings, and emotions via social media. The researchers mainly focused on features and building predictions, making it difficult for them to detect depression via social media. Word embedding offers a potential solution for processing and transforming unstructured data into meaningful representations. Embedded words represent textual data as numeric numerals with equivalent meaning. Using the Bidirectional Long Short-Term Memory (Bi-LSTM) paradigm, this investigation attempts to experiment with various weighting dimensions using the Word2Vec and GloVe methods. The data used is Depression: Reddit Dataset labelled: depressed and non-depressed. The experimental results of word weight dimensions using Word2Vec with a dimension of 500 are better than Glove. The results of accuracy, precision, recall and f1-score for the Word2Vec method were 96.22%, 97.02%, 95.30% and 96.15%, while the Glove method was 95.91%, 96.40%, 95.30% and 95.85% with a dimension of 200. Overall, Word Embedding Dimensions influences the results of this study. Based on these findings, it is concluded that the proposed Word2Vec method is a significant approach.

The rapid development of technology presents a new paradigm, one of which is in the transportation sector. The concept of smart mobility is one of the components in the realization of a smart city, which is closely related to the transportation sector. The Purwokerto-Purbalingga Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) is the government's effort to encourage the transportation sector towards smart mobility. It requires three crucial categories: Accessibility, sustainability, and communication and information technology. This study proves and explains that these three categories can be fulfilled by the Purwokerto-Purbalingga Bus Rapid Transit, especially from women's perception, indicated by an average accessibility score of 4.04, sustainability of 4.22, and Information and Communication Technology of 3.80. Efforts that can be taken by the government and Bus Rapid Transit managers include monitoring and evaluating bus stops and bus arrival frequencies as well as developing mobile-based applications that provide real-time information related to bus rapid transit. © 2021 IEEE.

Consumption is an essential aspect of daily life, and fulfilling customer needs requires efficient distribution of goods. Therefore, distributors are needed and they frequently set targets for their employees to achieve, and motivation plays a significant role in employee performance. An organization that distributes goods called CV Karya Prima motivates its employees by offering incentives. However, manual incentive calculation sets out problems such as a lack of progress tracking, irregular payout dates, and probable inaccuracies. This study aims to develop a web-based incentive calculation system using the analytical hierarchy process method and a database for data retrieval. The system utilizes PHP, CodeIgniter, and MySQL and adopts the SDLC prototyping method. The developed system is focused on the sales division and variables like total sales, effective calls, calls, and outlets. The web-based system is capable of solving the issues using the features that were built based on user needs and have already been tested through user acceptance testing.

Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have been adopted in various applications, including agriculture, public safety, surveillance, and crucial military missions. However, alongside their advantageous nature, UAVs have also been employed for malicious activities, leading to an increased requirement for timely detection and identification. Despite significant progress in UAV detection, challenges persist, particularly concerning various types of UAVs, the payload carried by UAVs, and the traits of their flight. Employing single machine learning for detection and identification has limitations due to the inability to handle diverse datasets and acquire complex relationships. Therefore, in this paper, we introduce a novel integration of the Visual Geometry Group-based convolutional neural network (VGG-CNN) framework employed for detection with the Mask Region-based convolutional neural network (MR-CNN) for identification of UAVs (jointly termed MR-DCNN). For efficient deployment of MR-DCNN, we add diversity to the dataset by performing data augmentation of new images in the training dataset for the detection of various types of UAVs, payload categories, and flight characteristics. The performance evaluation of the MR-DCNN approach was conducted via simulations, revealing superior detection capabilities for malicious UAVs compared to existing methods.
