Biogas quality in many installation of anaerobic digester for processing organic waste are found not optimum, especially in developing country where understanding of anaerobic processing is not well known. The methane content in the biogas are usually low that make it not possible to be utilized as a fuel of the engine. Biogas Purification usually will be introduced as a solution. But this idea is about complicated for simple or small anaerobic digester. Other solution is suggested by using enrichment of biogas by using other fuel such as hydrogen or blended with city gas such as LPG gas. But for preparing hydrogen gas or commercial will also costly. This research introduces simple technique for biogas enrichment by using denatured alcohol. The biogas contents were found around 30% vol. methane (CH4) and around 2% Carbon dioxide (CO2). The price of denatured alcohol is relative cheap because the selling tax is not as much as drinking alcohol. Engine with bigger combustion (420 cc) chamber was prepared for this purpose to make possible to be fuelled with biogas. The compression was set to reach 10 bar. The clearance of the both intake and exhaust valve was set in order to be possible to be running by using biogas. The biogas-air mixer was design for this purpose. The carburetor was set for use of denatured alcohol. It is found that the engine is running well by using biogas fuel that is enriched by using denatured alcohol. The emission was found better comparing using gasoline for the same engine. The fuel consumption is reported for future economic analyses. © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

Fish image classification presents an intriguing challenge in the field of computer vision. This research aims to develop an accurate classification model to differentiate between four different fish species using a convolutional neural network. The dataset used consists of $\mathbf{3 0 1 0}$ fish images, divided into training, validation, and testing sets. The convolutional neural network model was trained both with and without data augmentation. Evaluation results show that the model trained with data augmentation achieved an accuracy of $95 \%$ with a loss value of 0.0983, slightly better than the model without augmentation which achieved an accuracy of $94.56 \%$ with a loss value of $\mathbf{0. 1 7 9 4}$. This indicates that data augmentation techniques are effective in improving model performance, likely because augmentation helps the model generalize better to variations in fish image data. The results of this research demonstrate the significant potential of convolutional neural network for fish image classification tasks. The developed model can serve as a foundation for the development of computer vision-based applications such as automatic fish species identification in fisheries or educational applications. Further research can be conducted by exploring different convolutional neural network architectures, more advanced data augmentation techniques, and larger datasets to improve model performance.

This document it is established that 2 types of biogas anaerobic digester that usually found in developing country. First type is fixed dome type of anaerobic digester and secondly is floating drum biogas anaerobic digester. Both of this type have draw back that the anaerobic process is not completed with agitation process that yield low rate of biogas production. Other serious problem is the release of slurry cannot optimal. Some of the slurry will still remain stay in the anaerobic digester especially scum. To drain and cleaning the fixed dome or floating drum biogas anaerobic digester is mandatory to be done regularly that consume time and cost. The fixed dome types as well as floating drum type are usually not portable which cause no possibility to relocate in the new site. It is the purpose of this work to introduce portable biogas anaerobic digester that suitable for developing country with volume of digester around 500 liter of slurry. The requirement of agitator is facilitated, and the anaerobic digester is possible to be operated in batch system or continuous system. The material that is used for anaerobic digester is stainless steel 304 with tungsten inert gas welding technology that is used for the manufacturing. With this design the anaerobic digester are easy to be maintenance. The batch system can keep producing biogas until 52 day with total production of biogas around 3320 liters. The continuous system was conducted by releasing for about 5 liters slurry from the outlet and after that filled with new slurry with stirring with agitator was conducted for about 10 minutes for 3 times in a day (morning, noon, and evening). The result for continuous system is a linear biogas production with rate biogas production is around 51.7 liter/day (1550 liter/30days). © 2021 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.

Train is one of transportation mode is increasingly polular in Indonesia nowdays, although in developed countries this transportation has long been a very advanced mode of mass transportation. Problems due to railroad tracks adjacent to densely populated settlements cannot be avoided. Problems such as noise levels can interfere with the health and comfort of the environment, vibrations in the surrounding environment due to passing trains cause some damage to civilian buildings such as residents' houses and high rise buildings as well. Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever is an acute viral infectious disease caused by the dengue virus. Transmitted through the bite of Aedes Mosquitoes and divided into 4 severity. Severity 1 and 2 are characterized by a decrease in platelet levels below normal and there is a change in hemoconcentration, while Severity 3 and 4 are included in Dengue Shock Syndrome (DSS). The purpose of the study was to classify the severity of dengue, based on age, gender, platelets, body temperature, bleeding, and also doctor's recommendation. The advancement of information technology is the reason for the development of medical science, especially with artificial intelligence. Abundant medical data becomes a source that can be processed in improving the quality of medical information. The method chosen is Random Forest, kNN, Decision Tree and Naïve Bayes. The dataset used is the medical records of all DHF patients for 30 months in the period Jan 2019 to June 2021, at the Nadhifa Al Ghiffari Clinic in Bojongsoang District, Bandung Regency. © 2022 IEEE.

The issue of dust and smoke resulting from forest fires in northern Thailand. This is caused by people burning the forest to get forest products. Individuals can start forest fires by intentionally burning the forest to extract forest resources. Deforestation negatively affects the well-being of vulnerable patients and has repercussions on public health. The decrease in tourist numbers impacts the economy. Individuals setting fire to the forest to gather forest resources impact government and public sector connections. The education sector has implemented many strategies to educate and mitigate forest fires. There is a fire suppression system. Remove garbage, leaves, and branches that are flammable. However, forest fires remain a concern. Collaboration among three entities in the community can aid in preventing unauthorized forest fires through communal procedures. From multiple ministries, the local organization department, and the central government Collaborating to safeguard Forest fire suppression and afforestation This study is a component of the forest fire surveillance division. If the forest fire's location is not clearly indicated, participating in combined operations will lead to issues because of the overlap in operational responsibilities. Previously, thermal imaging satellites were utilized for coordinate determination. If the satellite completes two orbits each day and identifies a hot location, it initiates a forest fire. Firefighters cannot reach the area to put out forest fires; thus, they need to enter from a nearby, accessible location. Joining the forest fire prevention volunteer organization is challenging and will require approximately 24 to 25 hours. This study aims to conserve energy by utilizing an loT system that transmits peer-to-peer signals. Individuals are prepared to dismantle this system. During the Covid-19 pandemic, the use of health services has increased significantly, therefore, the production of medical waste also experienced a high increase. The most appropriate and suitable technology to destroy medical waste is incineration or combustion technology, one of which is fluidized bed combustion (FBC). In addition, the FBC technique can also reduce hydrocarbon gases resulting from combustion so as to reduce dioxins into the environment. The reduction in carbon gas during combustion is caused by the absorbent used as a bed material for fluidization process. This study used alumina sand bed material with variations in diameter of 0.2 mm, 0.5 mm, 0.8 mm and 1.1 mm. This research was conducted with an experimental approach method using a laboratory scale FBC reactor and modeling using the Barracuda Virtual Reactor Computational Particle Fluid Dynamics (CPFD) software simulation. The results of this study indicate that alumina sand with a diameter of 0.2 mm has ability to capture more carbon than other sand diameter variations. Based on the simulation, the variation of the 0.2 mm diameter also shows the best solid mixing results due to the relationship between the fluidization movement of the bed material in the reactor and the bed material’s ability to reach the highest up to 50 cm from the bottom of the reactor in the 60th second simulation.

Citrus Limon L. (Lemon) is a type of fruit that is currently widely consumed, because it contains abundant vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants. This fruit have high potential in the agribusiness sector and is widely cultivated by traditional farmers. However, during harvest time, traditional farmers generally still use manual methods using the human eye in distinguishing the maturity level of lemons which is less efficient because it has a low accuracy. Digital image processing is one solution to this problem. In the research on the classification of lemon maturity levels using digital image processing with the feature extraction method of the Mean RGB, HSV, and LBP methods and the K-Nearest Neighbor classification algorithm in this study, a total of 120 lemon images were used which were divided into 80 training image data and 40 image data. testing. The results of model performance measurements in the form of the highest accuracy level in the Mean RGB method of 100%, the highest accuracy in the HSV method of 98%, and the highest accuracy in the LBP method of 82.5%.

This study presents an Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) to evaluate the management strategies for Human-Orangutan Conflict (HOC) in Aceh, Indonesia. Utilizing an IPA Grid, the research categorizes various management strategies into four quadrants, each reflecting different levels of community-perceived importance and performance. Strategies like “Orangutan-Safe Fences” and “Community-Based Natural Resource Management (CBNRM) for Orangutans” in Quadrant A are both important and performing well, underscoring the effectiveness of current efforts in these areas. Significantly, “Traditional Measures for Orangutan Deterrence,” which include non-harmful, traditional methods such as the use of specific noise deterrents, physical barriers, and community-led patrols to discourage orangutans from entering human areas, alongside “Quick Response program for Orangutan Incidents,” are placed in Quadrant B. In Quadrant C, “Strengthen Law Enforcement and Conservation Policies” are deemed less crucial and underperforming, suggesting a lower priority for immediate resource allocation. Lastly, Quadrant D includes well-performing but less critical strategies like “Early Warning Systems for Orangutan Presence” and “Raise Local Awareness About Orangutans,” pointing to potential over-investment. The study's findings advocate for a strategic reallocation of resources and highlight the importance of aligning conservation efforts with community priorities for effective and sustainable HOC management. © 2024 The Author(s)

Surface reconstruction is a classical process in industrial engineering and manufacturing, particularly in reverse engineering, where the goal is to obtain a digital model from a physical object. For that purpose, the real object is typically scanned or digitized and the resulting point cloud is then fitted to mathematical surfaces through numerical optimization. The choice of the approximating functions is crucial for the accuracy of the process. Real-world objects such as manufactured workpieces often require complex nonlinear approximating functions, which are not well suited for standard numerical methods. In a previous paper presented at the ISMSI 2023 conference, we addressed this issue by using manually selected approximation functions via optimization through the cuckoo search algorithm with Lévy flights. Building upon that work, this paper presents an enhanced and extended method for surface reconstruction by using height-map surfaces obtained through a combination of exponential, polynomial and logarithmic functions. A feasible approach for this goal is to consider continuous bivariate distribution functions, which ensures consistent models along with good mathematical properties for the output shapes, such as smoothness and integrability. However, this approach leads to a difficult multivariate, constrained, multimodal continuous nonlinear optimization problem. To tackle this issue, we apply particle swarm optimization, a popular swarm intelligence technique for continuous optimization. The method is hybridized with a local search procedure for further improvement of the solutions and applied to a benchmark of 15 illustrative examples of point clouds fitted to different surface models. The performance of the method is analyzed through several computational experiments. The numerical and graphical results show that the method is able to recover the shape of the point clouds accurately and automatically. Furthermore, our approach outperforms other alternati
