Whiteboard animation videos are engaging learning media for Generation Z. This study aimed to develop and assess the feasibility of a whiteboard animation video for vitamin in the Nutrition science subject for class X culinary vocational school. This study was research and development using a 4D approach (define, design, develop, disseminate). The define stage analyzed the curriculum, material, student character, learning media, and school facilities. The design stage included the writing and assessing the material, the writing and assessing of storyboards, and production team selection. The develop stage was making a video and assessing the feasibility. Animation images were created using Paint Tool Sai. Image conversion from JPEG to SVG was performed with Inkscape. The dubber's voice was recorded with Universal Audio using the Apollo Twin audio interface and Avantone CV12 microphone. The audio was edited in Pro Tools 2020.9. To produce a whiteboard animation video, animation images, captions, dubber's voice, and back sound were combined with VideoScribe. Videos used mpg format. In order to maintain video duration below 10 minutes, the video was divided into two parts. The assessment of video feasibility was carried out by one media expert and two content experts. The assessment of feasibility at the disseminate stage was carried out to 30 users. Based on the feasibility assessment, this video was very suitable to be applied as a learning medium. © 2021 Institute of Physics Publishing. All rights reserved.

This research explores the use of Fuzzy K-Nearest Neighbor(F-KNN)and Artificial Neural Networks(ANN)for predicting heart stroke incidents,focusing on the impact of feature selection methods,specifically Chi-Square and Best First Search(BFS).The study demonstrates that BFS significantly enhances the performance of both *** BFS preprocessing,the ANN model achieved an impressive accuracy of 97.5%,precision and recall of 97.5%,and an Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)area of 97.9%,outperforming the Chi-Square-based ANN,which recorded an accuracy of 91.4%.Similarly,the F-KNN model with BFS achieved an accuracy of 96.3%,precision and recall of 96.3%,and a Receiver Operating Characteristics(ROC)area of 96.2%,surpassing the performance of the Chi-Square F-KNN model,which showed an accuracy of 95%.These results highlight that BFS improves the ability to select the most relevant features,contributing to more reliable and accurate stroke *** findings underscore the importance of using advanced feature selection methods like BFS to enhance the performance of machine learning models in healthcare applications,leading to better stroke risk management and improved patient outcomes.

We study the carbon dioxide reduction reaction(CO_(2)RR)activity and selectivity of Fe single-atom catalyst(Fe-SAC)and Fe dual-atom catalyst(Fe-DAC)active sites at the interior of graphene and the edges of graphitic nanopore by using a combination of DFT calculations and microkinetic *** trend of limiting potentials for CO_(2)RR to produce CO can be described by using either the adsorption energy of COOH,CO,or their ***_(2)RR process with reasonable reaction rates can be achieved only on the active site configurations with weak tendencies toward CO *** efficiency of CO_(2)RR on a catalyst depends on its ability to suppress the parasitic hydrogen evolution reaction(HER),which is directly related to the behavior of H adsorption on the catalyst’s active *** find that the edges of the graphitic nanopore can act as potential adsorption sites for an H atom,and in some cases,the edge site can bind the H atom much stronger than the main Fe *** linear scaling between CO and H adsorptions is broken if this condition is *** condition also allows some edge active site configurations to have their CO_(2)RR limiting potential lower than the HER process favoring CO production over H2 production.

The student of vocational high school nowadays are classified as generation Z. They are common to use information and communication technology. They prefer audio-visual learning media rather than podcast recording or text media. This study aimed to develop a video on making dry banana for the Agriculture Product Processing course and assessing the video's feasibility. This study was a research & development (R&D) study using the 4D (define, design, develop, and disseminate) approach. Analysis of content, curriculum, and student needs was carried out in the define stage. The scriptwriting and production team selection was conducted in the design stage. Video recording, editing, and feasibility test from experts were performed in the development stage. The video was evaluated by two content experts and one media expert. In the disseminate stage, thirty students as prospective consumers evaluated the video feasibility. The data were analyzed descriptively. The video was in the mp4 format and had a duration of 13 minuter and 13 seconds. The video has been provided with high-definition images, captions, pictures, 2D animations, transitions, and effects. The experts and the students rated this video to be very feasible to be used as instructional media. © 2021 Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Microbial fuel cells (MFCs) are bioelectrochemical instruments that exploit living microbes as biocatalysts for the conversion of chemical energy stored in the bonds of substrates into electrical energy. Monitoring of current or voltage generation in microbial fuel cells at rigid time intervals is noteworthy. Unfortunately, bioelectrochemical studies are often constrained due to the need for expensive and precise devices for electrochemical measurements. Utilization of low-cost microcontroller as monitoring system can be a considerable solution, compared with data logger that is a high-cost device, or compared with commercial multimeter that have to be used manually in collecting data. In this present work, microbial fuel cells electricity generation was successfully online monitored and the voltage data was also successfully collected using an ESP32 based-data logger. Statistically, there was no significant difference between ESP32 and multimeter in voltage reading, and the average of absolute and relative error values were 0.85 mV and 2.72%, respectively. It suggested that ESP32 could be a possible and low-cost monitoring system for microbial fuel cells bioelectricity generation. Additionally, ADS1115 (an external analogue to digital converter interface to ESP32) has up to four analogue channels, whereas multimeter has just one. In this research, microbial fuel cell powered by isolate KCf1 generated highest voltage value of 789 mV and power density of 541 mW m⁻². © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Iranian Society of Environmentalists (IRSEN) and science and Research Branch, Islamic Azad University 2023.

Service systems' business processes show the existence of mutual interaction between users. Running a particular business subdomain requires the role of each user. This role is in line with the concept contained in blockchain-based smart contracts. However, determining the subdomains that require smart contract coding is challenging in developing business processes that will run on the blockchain. We aim to determine the service-oriented business process (in the case of marketplace service) and the subdomain of the business process that requires smart contract coding. This article is essential because it shows how developing IT services without a smart contract differs from developing IT services with a smart contract. The main differences between developing services that need smart contracts and those that do not are that certain process can be run automatically and the record of activity in blockchain cannot be changed by anyone (tamper-proof). We outlined methods for designing marketplace business processes and defined subdomains to be encoded into smart contract code. After reviewing the three marketplace platforms, we determined eight subdomains of the marketplace business process. Two subdomains require smart contract coding from eight, namely the payment and complaint subdomains. © 2022 IEEE.

To determine the quality of beef, it is usually seen using a flashlight and matching it with a predetermined color standard. However, this method is time consuming and the results are inconsistent due to human visual limitations. This study aims to identify the freshness of beef based on its color characteristics using feature extraction method with HSV and LDA method for identification. The identification process begins with the transformation process from RGB images to L∗a∗b, then image segmentation serves to separate one object from another and image identification uses the LDA method with feature extraction using HSV. The use of color feature extraction with the HSV algorithm to assist in obtaining information from the colors contained in the image for easy identification. Furthermore, the LDA algorithm has a function to obtain the maximum projection to obtain a smaller dimensional space so that the desired patterns can be separated through the boundary line of a linear equation so as to form a certain class or group. Based on the test results using the confusion matrix, it produces a precision value of 80%, recall of 84%, and accuracy of 82%. © 2022 IEEE.

The kidney is a human organ with numerous vital functions, mainly for blood filtration. Damage to the kidneys can be detected from albumin levels in urine, higher levels of albumin in urine indicate the kidney's filtration function is impaired. The latest breakthrough in the medical field is the use of localized sensor plasma resonance (LSPR) in the field of biosensors to detect albumin protein in urine. Using Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) simulation, the lateral size of hexagonal gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) is varied to increase the optimal LSPR. AuNPs are well-known as the most promising material for plasmonic applications. In several studies, the hexagonal geometry was reported to increase the surface area of nanoparticles as well as enhance the LSPR signal. Varying the geometry of the hexagonal AuNPs will affect their sensitivity and optical properties. In this study, the lateral size of the hexagonal AuNPs varied from 10 nm to 60 nm, with a controlled thickness of 30 nm. The absorption graph blue shifts with the peak decreasing until the graph has almost no peak as the lateral size decreases. The lateral size of 40 nm at a thickness of 30 nm was found to have the highest shifting response towards the change of refractive index, indicating good sensitivity for sensors. Simulation of hexagonal AuNPs-based LSPR detection of albumin concentrations of 0.35 –5.71 mM produces a sensitivity of 2.59 nm/mM, equivalent to 245.96 nm/RIU. The competitive performance and ease of detection procedures in real applications show the potential of the hexagonal AuNPs-based LSPR sensor to be further explored in developing alternative albumin detection techniques.

Background: Propolis from Sulawesi's stingless bees (Tetragonula biroi) contains antioxidants, more flavonoids than propolis from Apis bees, and the antibacterial ability. Objective: to examine the antibacterial properties of Propolis Nanoemulsion Extract (PNE), which is extracted from the Celebes Stingless Bee (T. biroi), in relation to the periodontopathogen bacteria such as Fusobacterium nucleatum (Fn), Porphyromonas gingivalis (Pg), Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans (Aa), and Provotella intermedia (Pi). This investigation also examines PNE's phytochemistry, particle size analysis (PSA), and zeta potential. Methods: The maceration process with 96 % ethanol was used to create PNE from Celebes stingless bee (T. biroi), which was then subjected to zeta potential measurement and PSA. Phytochemical analysis was used to identify phytochemical constituents in the PNE (T. biroi). Diffusion zone, minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC), and minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) were used to assess antibacterial efficacy against Aa, Pg, Pi, and Fn. Furthermore, the statistical analysis was used to extract the data. Results: Phenols, alkaloids, and flavonoids were identified;however, triterpenoids and saponins were not. Between 151.28 and 182.2 diameter nanometers (***) was the range of the PNE's diameter. At 1.56 % propolis (T. biroi) concentration, the MIC, MBC, and diffusion zone analysis performed better than at 0.76 %, with a significant difference (p:0.01;p < 0.05) to Aa, Pg, Pi, and Fn. Conclusions: The highest antibacterial activity against Aa, Pg, Pi, and Fn as periodontopathogen bacteria is demonstrated by alkaloids, flavonoids, and phenols in PNE from Celebes (T. biroi) at a concentration of 1.56 %. © 2025 The Authors

Waste is a problem in almost every region, especially related to how the processing of waste can be converted into other forms as a form of energy that can be utilized, one of which is waste processing by pyrolysis is one of the technologies to convert waste into useful energy or fuel. At this time waste processing requires waste processing machines ranging from organic and un-organic waste shredding machines, briquette processing machines, pellets, using star-delta 3-phase motors, generally still conventional/manually. Current research, the author began to develop a waste and flue gas particle handling machine, a non-incinerator pyrolysis machine with the wet method, a high efficiency cyclone system which originally used a machine manually/ conventionally, replaced with a Delta series Star - Delta series with interlock and interface) automatically. Garbage processing The machine in addition to aiming to reduce waste waste, the machine must be made automatically and friendly to the operator who runs it.
