Survival analysis of Kasturi tobacco plants in Jember district using the stratified cox and extended cox models.

In 2022, tobacco was the top export commodity, generating $106.3 million in sales. East Java Province contributes significantly to Indonesia's tobacco production, with an annual output of 188.6 thousand tons. Jember Regency is the area in East Java Province which is a Kasturi tobacco cultivation area. The productivity of Kasturi tobacco continues to decrease due to several factors that can affect the survival of the tobacco. This study aims to analyze the survival of Kasturi tobacco by creating stratified Cox and extended Cox models in order to handle factors that cannot fulfill the proportional hazard assumption. Based on the results of the analysis, the stratified Cox model is the best model with AIC and BIC values of 798.108 and 805.5748 respectively, while the extended Cox has AIC and BIC values of 840.2186 and 850.1732 respectively. Variables that can significantly affect the survival of Kasturi tobacco are the variable concentration of ZA fertilizer, pesticide concentration. The addition of ZA fertilizer must be appropriate, because if excessive it can cause poisoning of tobacco plants. Likewise with pesticides, if excessive it will cause damage to the leaves. This policy can increase the productivity of Kasturi tobacco. Then, Jember Regency contributes greater export capacity. • This paper aims to determine the factors that affect the survival of Kasturi tobacco plants in Jember • By using the extended Cox model, the best one is obtained using the Heaviside function with AIC and BIC values of 840.2186 and 850.1732, respectively • The stratified Cox model is better than the extended Cox model, which has AIC and BIC values of 798.108 and 805.5748, respectively

Analyzing the use of SEO and Google Analytic on the Website of Vocational High School of Information Technology Annajiyah

The number of Islamic boarding school teaching both Information Technology (IT) Education and Religious Education is still limited. Vocational High School of Information Technology Annajiyah located in Tambakberas, Jombang, East Java is a school having both subjects taught. The existence of Vocational High School of Information Technology Annajiyah has not been widely known by outside and inside society of Jombang Regency. Therefore, Therefore, analysis of the use of SEO is necessary to determine the potential of website visit and school promotion. Previously, Vocational High School of Information Technology Annajiyah promoted school by using brochures only. This method was considered able to introduce the school through traditional way. Analysis result of improving SEO can be seen in Google Analytic recorded a number of site visits amounted 403 in June, where 82.2% of active users are dominated by mobile phone users and fluctuation of the number of visits. This increase is affected by both the implementation of SEO and online PPDB process during the COVID pandemic.

Development of Human Machine Interface (HMI) Training Kit as A Learning Media for Industrial Automation engineering Practical Courses

Learning media is one of the learning tools that is needed so that the learning process can run smoothly and students can have competencies in accordance with the expected competency goals. This paper discusses: (1) developing a Human Machine Interface (HMI) training kit as a learning medium in the Industrial Automation engineering Practical Course; (2) the performance of the HMI training kit; (3) the feasibility of the HMI training kit based on the assessment of media experts, material experts and student responses as training kit users. In developing this training kit using the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. Data collection was carried out by testing the performance of the media, and giving a questionnaire to media experts to assess the feasibility of the media aspect, a material expert questionnaire to assess the appropriateness of the material and a questionnaire to determine student responses as users. The data were analyzed by means of quantitative descriptive analysis which were then categorized. The result of this development is HMI practice learning media for industrial automation engineering practice courses which consist of HMI practice hardware, and jobsheets. The performance of the HMI training kit for input and output parameters, visualization of engine control in the form of buttons, sliders, output visualization, indicator lights, and overall graphics have a 100% correct performance. Based on media experts, design aspects, technical aspects and usefulness aspects were rated very well, so that overall the media aspect received an assessment in the very proper category Based on material experts, technical aspects and aspects of usefullness received an assessment in the very good category, so that overall the material aspect received an assessment in the very proper category. Based on assesment of students as users, the average score student response falls into the very good category.

Development Mobile Application Android Based for Sensor and Transducer

The aims of this research are: (1) producing a mobile applications android based for sensor and transducer field of study on vocational education; (2) know the quality of the product mobile applications android based for sensor and transducer field study on vocational education. The method used is the Software Development Life Cycle with the Waterfall model. The stages in Waterfall model are: (1) requirements definition; (2) system and software design; (3) implementation and unit testing; (4) integration and system testing; (5) operation and maintenance. The black box test results show the performance of Sensor application software can all function properly. While the results of the compatibility test show the application can run on various android systems (at least Android 4.2).

How can humans remain in control of artificial intelligence (AI)-based systems designed to perform tasks autonomously? Such systems are increasingly ubiquitous, creating benefits - but also undesirable situations where moral responsibility for their actions cannot be properly attributed to any particular person or group. The concept of meaningful human control has been proposed to address responsibility gaps and mitigate them by establishing conditions that enable a proper attribution of responsibility for humans;however, clear requirements for researchers, designers, and engineers are yet inexistent, making the development of AI-based systems that remain under meaningful human control challenging. In this paper, we address the gap between philosophical theory and engineering practice by identifying, through an iterative process of abductive thinking, four actionable properties for AI-based systems under meaningful human control, which we discuss making use of two applications scenarios: automated vehicles and AI-based hiring. First, a system in which humans and AI algorithms interact should have an explicitly defined domain of morally loaded situations within which the system ought to operate. Second, humans and AI agents within the system should have appropriate and mutually compatible representations. Third, responsibility attributed to a human should be commensurate with that human’s ability and authority to control the system. Fourth, there should be explicit links between the actions of the AI agents and actions of humans who are aware of their moral responsibility. We argue that these four properties will support practically-minded professionals to take concrete steps toward designing and engineering for AI systems that facilitate meaningful human control. Vocational education has a vital role in overall social development and contributes to the learners' quality improvement. Thus, learners' preparation in competencies and work professionalism through vocational education is critical. The current problem was the 8.49% unemployed vocational education graduates who showed their lack of ability to compete in the 21st century. The correct solution to realize the quality and industry-recognized vocational education was by improving vocational education into the centre of excellence to improve teachers and learning capacity. This research was a literature review. Generally, this paper presents the link and match concept, link and match key between vocational high school (Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan/SMK) and the industry and centre of excellence. This paper aimed to explain the link and match model through the centre of excellence to improve vocational education quality.

Nonthermal plasma can provide an alternative to CO 2 utilization under mild conditions. Understanding the effect of plasma on catalysis is highly desired. Herein, a comparative study was performed on CO 2 hydrogenation under thermal catalytic and plasma catalytic conditions using an alumina-supported cobalt catalyst. Significant plasma-catalyst synergy was attained at the low-temperature range between 423 K and 498 K where the CO 2 conversion increased up to approximately 3.6 times of the sum of that using plasma or catalyst individually. The plasma-catalytic reaction showed a significantly lower activation energy (~40 kJ/mol), which is only half of that in the thermal catalytic reaction (~80 kJ/mol). Kinetic analysis and DRIFTS results indicate that CO 2 activation is promoted by plasma with the assistance of active H species from gas phase. Furthermore, the total H 2 adsorption capacity and the coverage of unrecyclable adsorbed H species on the metal surface were decreased under plasma. The promotion effect is very likely due to a new reaction pathway introduced by plasma. In addition, the structure and morphology changes of spent catalysts after thermal or plasma reaction were not significant, suggesting they contribute little to the synergetic effect observed under the conditions. © 2022, The Authors. Consciousness has been historically a heavily debated topic in engineering, science, and philosophy. On the contrary, awareness had less success in raising the interest of scholars in the past. However, things are changing as more and more researchers are getting interested in answering questions concerning what awareness is and how it can be artificially generated. The landscape is rapidly evolving, with multiple voices and interpretations of the concept being conceived and techniques being developed. The goal of this paper is to summarize and discuss the ones among these voices that are connected with projects funded by the EIC Pathfinder Challenge called "Awareness Inside", a nonrecurring call for proposals within Horizon Europe that was designed specifically for fostering research on natural and synthetic awareness. In this perspective, we dedicate special attention to challenges and promises of applying synthetic awareness in robotics, as the development of mature techniques in this new field is expected to have a special impact on generating more capable and trustworthy embodied systems. © 2024, CC BY.

This research is about smooth support vector machine (SSVM) and Decision Tree in data mining. Many researchers conduct and develop methods to improve the accuracy and classification of data on good results. This research was conducted by conducting an experiment on STMIK Neumann Medan student data. In this study, it was concluded that Decision Tree performance is better than SSVM, Decision Tree gets very good results that promise to help find the best students to get scholarships. This study is better than SSVM. The training process has a difference of 11.04% and the testing process is 10.08% with each Accuracy. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Raspberry Pi is a mini-computer that is provided to carry out activities quickly and precisely, but Raspberry Pi was created to not be able to do the real-time system with the support of Windows 10 IoT operating system, so the real-time system can be done on Raspberry Pi. The real-time applied in the application needs to be tested with the Nyquist theory. The purpose of this study was to get real-time system measurements available on Windows 10 IoT.
