Optimization of biogas production in Indonesian region by liquid anaerobic digestion (L-AD) method from rice husk using response surface methodology (RSM)

Rice husk is one of agricultural waste that is potentially converted to biogas. In this research, rice husk is used as the material to produce biogas by liquid anaerobic digestion (L-AD) with TS concentration below 15/5. The purposes of this research are finding the optimum value of total solid (TS), C/N ratio, and microbial consortium (MC) for biogas production and then analyzing the optimum biogas production rate from rice husk. Because of the high lignin content, rice husk must be through the pretreatment stage using NaOH 3%. The variations of the observed factor are 5%, 10%, 15% for TS concentration; 20, 35, 50 for C/N ratio; and 3%, 6%, 9% for MC concentration. There are 16 reactors in which the variation for each reactor was determined by Central Composite Design. Data obtained from the research will be optimized using Response Surface Methodology (RSM) in Statistica 10. The result shows that the optimum condition of biogas production from rice husk is TS in between 1%-2.5%, C/N ration 33.45, and MC in between 5.5%-7%. Reactor having a combination of value factors that close to the optimum value will be analyzed using Polymath 6.0, which is reactor 10. The kinetics constant of biogas production rate (u) is 3.625 ml/***, the maximum biogas production (A) is 277.374 ml/gr TS, and the minimum time needed to produce biogas (λ) is 3.878 days.

Mortazavi et al. comment on the results of our paper "A novel two-dimensional boron-carbon-nitride BCN monolayer: A First-principles insight," in which we have considered different configurations of BCN. For clarification, we applied the fingerprint theory [1-3] to examine the similarity between the distinct structures. The fingerprint function is a crystal structure descriptor, an 1D-function related to the pair correlation function and diffraction patterns. It does not depend on absolute atomic coordinates, but only on interatomic distances. Small deviations in atomic positions will influence the fingerprints only slightly [1-3]. Fingerprint theory allows quantification of the degree of order and complexity of a crystal structure. © 2022, CC BY.

Kawi Language is a kind of language which has developed in Java during the Hindu-Buddhist era in the ancient Indonesian archipelago. As the time passed, Kawi began to come to extinction. To overcome this, preservation of Kawi language can be done by enhancing the understanding of culture through the use of technology. Technology that can be used for cultural preservation is one of NLP based applications such as Kawi Language to Bahasa Translator Application which is developed in this research. The translator application is an application that translates from one language to another. The result of translation of the translator application is a language that is easy to understand by the people or commonly used language. This translator application is developed to processes Kawi Language text into bahasa based on search method which each word inserted. The stemming method used is Bobby Nazief & Mima Adriani Algorithm using Kawi Language rule. The translated Kawi Language text can be a word, sentence or paragraph with the result of the Text in Bahasa as well as words, sentences or paragraphs. © The Authors, published by EDP sciences, 2018.

Emissions of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2eq) will continue to increase along with human activities that continuously carry out land conversion activities, increased use of vehicles, increased waste, and other activities. This study aims to analyze the factors causing an increase in carbon dioxide emissions in urban areas and plant-based control using causal loops with a dynamic systems approach. Through the analysis method using the causal loop, then determined the cause and effect relationship of each CO2eq emission source variable and its control efforts in Prabumulih City. The results of this study describe the causal loop relationship, both positive and negative relationships between variables from urban CO2eq emission sources and emission control by optimizing plant species as an absorber of CO2eq emissions.

Maintenance is an activity to maintain facilities or equipment of the factory and make repairs or adjustments to the necessary replacement to satisfactory condition of production operations in accordance with what is planned. Companies often experience damage to the Blowing machine so that interconnected machines cannot be operated. The purpose of this study was to improve the performance of Blowing line 4 engines with the Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) method at PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Medan Unit, also to determine the level of Blowing machine performance based on the analysis of overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) at PT. Coca-Cola Amatil Indonesia Medan Unit. The method used in this study is the overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) method to measure Ishikawa's treatments and diagrams to compare and propose low engine performance. The results of data processing shows machine maintenance has not comply the OEE standards in July 81.48%, August 81.48%, September 78.07%, October 81.22%, November 78.08%, and those that fill the standards in June amount to 86.48%, with losses that most affect the effectiveness of equipment in line 4 blowroom machine is Equipment Failure Losses of 11.42% based on the results of the study, the proposed improvement in engine performance is to provide training to employees, and increase operator awareness. against engine damage, thus the production process will run smoothly. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

Imagining a motion without doing the actual movement is known as Motor imaginary (MI). However, translating MI as an input for BCI that control the Assistive Technology (AT) device was a challenging method due to the extensive training required, poor user engagement, and visual feedback response delays. For a person who has difficulties to imagine without visual stimulation, more training should be conducted. Even with a visual stimulus, sometimes a person still finds it hard to distinguish between one movement and another. So, finding a suitable input to control an AT device that suitable for someone who has extremely limited movement is very challenging. In the other hand, EEG signal had been proven sufficient in detecting facial expression. Even though the EEG signal contains EMG facial artifact and considered as an unwanted signal for BCI, facial movement artifact could become a compensator signal for EEG based Human Computer Interface (HCI) system to improve efficiency. This study aims to develop HCI systems to distinguish three different movements (forward, backward, and stop) EEG signals that recorded from EEG EMOTIV Epoc based on different facial expression. This HCI system could bring benefit if it is implemented for AT device, such as rollator since the user could easily distinguish different movement without any visual stimuli required so could reduce an extensive training before usage and could improve the quality of life people with limited extremity movement.

Sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) is a form of proactive action taken by the company and its supply chain to remain competitive by introducing products and production processes that are environmentally friendly and socially *** Tetra Pak Indonesia as a company engaged in the processing and packaging for food and beverages, is committed to reduce the environmental impact of all operations and prioritize environmental aspects for each product and solution offered. Although there have been many sustainability efforts undertaken by PT Tetra Pak Indonesia, the perspective and implementation of its sustainable supply chain management has never been measured. This research was conducted to measure the perception and implementation of sustainable supply chain management (SSCM) activities of *** Pak Indonesia, in order to add information about the development of sustainable supply chain management practices in Indonesia. Data were collected in two ways: in depth interviews and questionnaires. Based on the result of interview and questionnaire, *** Pak Indonesia gets an actual implementation index value of SSCM activities of 0.88, and has an overall perception index value of 0.85. This indicates that PT. Tetra Pak Indonesia is a company that has a perception towards sustainability and has actually implemented SSCM activities.

The development of the smartphones that rapidly increasing, and high smartphone Users as a tool to make a lot of information, make emergence of instant messaging applications with a variety of options for use. Telegram, as one of the instant messaging application that is fairly new, offering in its various features compared to other instant messaging applications, so it can grow rapidly and much in demand in only 2 years. One of the interesting features is the Bot telegram, a special account without number that can handle Command from the User and gives answers appropriate to Command functionality. The account serves as the interface of the running system that communicate via Telegram Bot API. This study seeks to build a Bot telegram with database to built The Online Test application uses Telegram Bots Version 1.0. In each lecture meeting, a Lecturer can make a short test in the form of multiple choices to review the material at the previous meeting and get information about what percentage of students understand the material that has been taught before. We can use the application to send realtime messages to facilitate the test. Of course, which supports the creation of bots easily to add features that did not yet exist. Of the many we chose Telegram to be an online test environment by utilizing the Bot creation facilities provided by Telegram. This article will be a guide that makes it easier for lecturers to give a simple test at the beginning of the meeting, so that they can attract students' daily grades. And in order to be more interactive there are features of student value progress reports that can also be accessed individually so that students can know the progress of their learning outcomes.

Background: Despite major advances in artificial intelligence (AI) research for healthcare, the deployment and adoption of AI technologies remain limited in clinical practice. In recent years, concerns have been raised about the clinical, technical, ethical and legal risks associated with healthcare AI. To increase adoption in the real world, it is essential that AI technologies are trusted and accepted by patients, clinicians, health organisations and authorities. This paper describes the FUTURE-AI framework as the first international consensus guideline for trustworthy AI in healthcare. Methods: The FUTURE-AI consortium was founded in 2021 and now comprises 117 interdisciplinary experts from 50 countries representing all continents, including AI scientists, clinical researchers, biomedical ethicists, and social scientists. Over a two-year period, the consortium established guiding principles and best practices for trustworthy and deployable AI through an iterative process comprising an in-depth literature review, a modified Delphi survey, and online consensus meetings. Findings: The FUTURE-AI framework was established based on six guiding principles for trustworthy AI in healthcare, i.e. Fairness, Universality, Traceability, Usability, Robustness and Explainability. Through consensus, a set of 30 best practices were defined, addressing technical, clinical, socio-ethical and legal dimensions of trustworthy AI. The recommendations cover the entire lifecycle of healthcare AI, from design, development and validation to regulation, deployment, and monitoring. Interpretation: FUTURE-AI is a structured, risk-informed framework which provides guidance for constructing healthcare AI tools that will be trusted, deployed and adopted in real-world clinical practice. Researchers are encouraged to take the recommendations into account in proof-of-concept stages to facilitate future translation towards clinical practice of healthcare AI. In this paper, we have investigated the effect of the work function of transparent conducting oxides (TCO) on the performance of a-Si:H p-i-n solar cells, including open circuit voltage (VOC), short circuit current (JSC), fill factor (FF) and conversion efficiency, using AFORS-HET software. The simulation has focused on two layers: front contact work function (ΦTCO-front) and back contact work function (ΦTCO-back) with various band energy gap from 4.7 eV to 5.3 eV and 4.2 eV to 4.9 eV respectively. From the simulation results, we know that the work function of TCO greatly affects the performance of solar cells such as Voc, Jsc, FF and conversion efficiency. By optimization, we arrive at results of Voc, Jsc, FF and conversion efficiencies of 0.88 V, 8.95 mA / cm2, 65% and 5.1% respectively, by using ΦTCO-front of 5.2 eV. When ΦTCO-front > 5.2 eV, the values of VOC, FF and conversion efficiency have been saturated, while the value of the J sc actually begins to decrease. Furthermore, when the ΦTCO-back is 4.3 eV, we get the best results for VOC, Jsc, FF and conversion Efficiency of 0.9 V, 8.96 mA / cm2, 73 % and 5.9 % respectively. When ΦTCO-back > 4.3 eV, the values of VOC, FF and conversion efficiency begin to decrease, while the value of the Jsc does not change significantly. These optimizations may help for producing low cost high efficiency p-i-n solar cells experimentally. © 2019 Trans Tech Publications Ltd, Switzerland.
