The constructive semi-global differential game concept is introduced into the multi-agent's cooperative controller designing of typical autonomous unmanned systems subject to controller input constraint as well as the collision avoidance requirements simultaneously. The problem of driving each agent which is assume to subject to input constraint nonlinearity from the initial position to a desired one and at the same time avoiding collisions (referring to both static obstacles and other agents) is modeled and transformed into multi-agent's collision avoidance problem. In view of the requirement that different agents working together might possibly have individual but conflicting purpose (such as in the multi-missile cooperative detection requiring slowly and continuing actions vs fast formation control scenario, and multi-agents' fast arriving vs avoiding different kinds of obstacles). The differential game theory provided a mechanism or framework for investigating different kinds of problems in which several players seek to achieve individual purposes or goals, which might be competing rather than cooperation. In view of the input constraints, the problem is reduced as a semi-global differential game. Conditions are established to guarantee input constraints are satisfied, and mainly by using the Hamilton-Jacobi-Isaacs (HJI for short) PDIs and as well as Ε-Nash equilibria. The semi-global property of the states are also guaranteed. It provides a description in terms of the invariant set for the overall differential game system under constraint controller input. Illustrative examples are carried out to verify the effectiveness of the method, and also the feasibility of the suggested control protocols. © 2021 IEEE

The eco-friendly insulating gas C5-PFK is considered promising to replace SF6 as an insulating medium in gas-insulated equipment. At present, there are few reports on the acute inhalation toxicity of C5-PFK gas, leaving hidden dangers for related scientific research and engineering applications. In this paper, by setting up an eco-friendly gas insulating medium acute inhalation test platform, with experimental mice as the research object, a 4h acute inhalation toxicity test study of C5-PFK gas was carried out according to the OECD403 test guide. The study found that after acute inhalation of low-concentration C5-PFK gas, mice will experience symptoms such as excitement, heartbeat and shortness of breath, but will return to normal after a few hours. There will be no abnormalities during the 14-day observation period and their physical condition is good. After acute inhalation of high-concentration C5-PFK gas, mice will become paralyzed and lose their ability to move independently, leading to death. The LC50 of 4h acute inhalation of C5-PFK gas in mice was 7400-7500ppm (female) and 8600-8800ppm (male). The acute toxicity of C5-PFK gas should be classified as the lowest toxic category 4 in the GHS, which is a low-toxic gas.

In this paper, zones based distributed energy management for isolated multi-microgrids is proposed. Loads are categorized into different zones to form zonal multi-microgrids. Each microgrid has own energy management system which can locally manages the supply and demand of its zonal load and minimize the operational cost. Distributed Network Operator (DNO) act as central controller to facilitate the energy exchange between zonal microgrids and balancing the overall system-wide supply and demand in economic way. Demand Response program (DRP) is also utilized for peak load shifting within the scheduling horizon. In addition to minimization of operation cost, the utilization of DR will also assure the reliability of supply. In the proposed distributed energy management, each microgrid balances its supply and demand locally and exchange surplus and deficit power with other microgrids through DNO. With the proliferation of IoT devices, there is an escalating demand for enhanced computing and communication capabilities. Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) addresses this need by relocating computing resources to the network edge, thereby delivering swifter and more efficient services. This paper introduces a computation offloading and energy consumption optimization framework that leverages Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces (RIS), Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), and MEC. The scheme aims to maximize energy efficiency through the optimization of task allocation, RIS phase shifts, and UAV trajectories. By employing the Multi-Agent Twin Delayed Deep Deterministic Policy Gradient (MATD3) reinforcement learning algorithm, the paper further refines UAV trajectories and RIS configurations. The simulation results indicate that the proposed method surpasses the traditional Concave-Convex Procedure (CCCP) algorithm in both UAV trajectory control and RIS configuration, demonstrating quicker convergence and enhanced stability. The method proves to be adaptable to diverse environments and tasks, showcasing notable benefits in RIS-assisted interference suppression, particularly with large RIS, thereby enhancing UAV data reception rates. Additionally, MATD3 exhibits faster and smoother convergence for extended task durations and smaller RIS scenarios. Simulation results reveal that UAVs tend to move closer to RIS, with energy efficiency falling as IoT tasks increase, affirming the proposed algorithm's high energy efficiency and effectiveness. © 2025 IEEE.

Network robustness is critical for various industrial and social networks against malicious attacks, which has various meanings in different research contexts and here it refers to the ability of a network to sustain its functionality when a fraction of the network fail to work due to attacks. The rapid development of complex networks research indicates special interest and great concern about the network robustness, which is essential for further analyzing and optimizing network structures towards engineering applications. This comprehensive survey distills the important findings and developments of network robustness research, focusing on the a posteriori structural robustness measures for single-layer static networks. Specifically, the a posteriori robustness measures are reviewed from four perspectives: 1) network functionality, including connectivity, controllability and communication ability, as well as their extensions;2) malicious attacks, including conventional and computation-based attack strategies;3) robustness estimation methods using either analytical approximation or machine learning-based prediction;4) network robustness optimization. Based on the existing measures, a practical threshold of network destruction is introduced, with the suggestion that network robustness should be measured only before reaching the threshold of destruction. Then, a posteriori and a priori measures are compared experimentally, revealing the advantages of the a posteriori measures. Finally, prospective research directions with respect to a posteriori robustness measures are recommended. © 2023, CC BY.

Blind source separation under an underdetermined reverberation environment is a very challenging issue. The classical method is based on the expectation maximization algorithm. However, it is limited to high reverberation environments, resulting in bad or even invalid separation performance. To eliminate this restriction, a room impulse response reshaping-based expectation maximization method is designed to solve the problem of blind signal separation in an underdetermined reverberant environment. Firstly, a room impulse response reshaping technology is designed to eliminate the influence of audible echo on the reverberant environment, improving the quality of the received signals. Then, a new mathematical model of time-frequency mixing signals is established to reduce the approximation error of model transformation caused by high reverberation. Furthermore, an improved expectation maximization method is proposed for real-time update learning rules of model parameters, and then the sources are separated using the estimators provided by the improved expectation maximization method. Experimental results based on source separation of speech and music mixtures demonstrate that the proposed algorithm achieves better separation performance while maintaining much better robustness than popular expectation maximization methods. © 2024, The Authors. In existing protection and monitoring system of substation(S-PMS), there are compatibility problems between hardware and software or between software-hardware combinations and systems, including differences in communication protocols between different manufacturers and differences in system adaptation. Compatibility issues have become a growing focus area for the power industry. This paper proposes a method to evaluates the compatibility of the protection and monitoring system of substation based on the G1 and expert investigation, for the existing or unbuilt substations. In detail, Firstly, according to the compatibility requirements of the substation protection and monitoring system, corresponding indicators are proposed and a comprehensive compatibility evaluation model is constructed. Secondly, based on the comprehensive evaluation model, the evaluation results of typical stations without domestic chips and optimized stations using domestic chips are compared to verify the feasibility of the proposed method.

This paper addresses the control design of a current mode control for a three-phase voltage source converter. A variant of the Active Disturbance Rejection control (ADRC) scheme is proposed for comparison with the classical inner control approach. The ADRC method has a straightforward design procedure and has well-known abilities for disturbance rejection and robustness to parametric uncertainties of the system. Theoretical studies are presented and simulation results are discussed by using EMTP-RV environment considering the system Synchronous Reference Frame control, whose modeling was extracted from the analysis performed in a classical refer-ence. © 2021 IEEE.

For the dynamic reconfiguration problem of distribution networks, the handling of switching cost constraint and the division of time period are the two key aspects that affect the performance of the reconfiguration algorithm. In this paper, an improved temporal constrained hierarchical clustering algorithm for dynamic reconfiguration of distribution networks is proposed. Firstly, the improved hierarchical clustering approach considering the temporal constraint is used to divide the operating status of the distribution network into multiple time intervals according to the similarity of loads and the output power of distributed generations (DGs). The dynamic reconfiguration of distribution networks is then transformed into multiple single-stage static reconfiguration problems, and the cluster center is used to approximately represent the load state and DG output state of the period. In order to reduce the number of infeasible solutions and poor solutions, a coding method based on heuristic rules to reduce the solution space of distribution network reconfiguration is proposed. An improved fireworks algorithm based on heuristic rules is proposed to solve the reconfiguration problem. Finally, a modified IEEE-33 test system is used to verify the validity of the proposed method. © 2020 IEEE.

Sneak attack against mobile robotic networks under formation control

The security of mobile robotic networks (MRNs) has been an active research topic in recent years. This paper demonstrates that the observable interaction process of MRNs under formation control will present increasingly severe threats. Specifically, we find that an external attack robot, who has only partial observation over MRNs while not knowing the system dynamics or access, can learn the interaction rules from observations and utilize them to replace a target robot, destroying the cooperation performance of MRNs. We call this novel attack as sneak, which endows the attacker with the intelligence of learning knowledge and is hard to be tackled by traditional defense techniques. The key insight is to separately reveal the internal interaction structure within robots and the external interaction mechanism with the environment, from the coupled state evolution influenced by the model-unknown rules and unobservable part of the MRN. To address this issue, we first provide general interaction process modeling and prove the learnability of the interaction rules. Then, with the learned rules, we design an Evaluate-Cut-Restore (ECR) attack strategy considering the partial interaction structure and geometric pattern. We also establish the sufficient conditions for a successful sneak with maximum control impacts over the MRN. Extensive simulations illustrate the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed attack. Copyright © 2021, The Authors. All rights reserved.
