Distribution automation system (DAS) is the key of intelligent power distribution. With the construction and operation of DAS, studying on the optimization of DAS has received much attention from both academia and industry. This study proposed cluster-based relevance analysis between construction mode and benefit-cost ratio (BCR) for optimizing the DAS. This method clusters the DASs of different cities, and analyzes the clustering results. Then, the method analyzes BCR of DAS in different categories and uses comparative analysis, grey relational analysis (GRA) and sensitivity analysis to analyze the relevance between the construction mode and BCR of typical city's DAS and determine the major factors affecting the BCR comprehensively. Finally, it integrates all analysis results to make optimization suggestions for DAS. The case study shows that the method is effective and feasible, which can provide direction and reference basis for the optimization of DAS in cities of different scale.

Fault-tolerant control for over-actuated hypersonic reentry vehicle subject to multiple disturbances and actuator faults

In this paper, a fault-tolerant control scheme is proposed for attitude tracking problem of hypersonic reentry vehicle subjected to multiple disturbances and time-varying actuator faults. For convenience of fault-tolerant controller design , conventional hypersonic reentry vehicle model is transformed into control-oriented model by incorporating actuator faults into lumped disturbance. Based on the lumped disturbance estimate provided by high order sliding mode observer, fault-tolerant controllers are developed within the frame of active disturbance rejection control in attitude loop and angular rate loop according to time-scale separation and singular perturbation principle. Then, the desired control moment is allocated to actuators based on recurrent neural network . With the well-designed fault-tolerant controllers and control allocation, a novel meta-heuristic dynamic adaptation salp swarm algorithm is employed to optimize control parameters to achieve minimum attitude tracking error. Comparative simulations are conducted to verify the effectiveness of the developed dynamic adaptation salp swarm algorithm and the investigated fault-tolerant control scheme.

Under the current situation where the proportion of wind power generation in the existing energy structure is gradually increasing, accurate short-term power prediction of wind farm cluster (WFC) plays an important auxiliary role in the formulation of regional power generation plans. However, it is difficult to clarify the correlation between wind farms in the power prediction of WFC, which leads to the difficulty of stable and accurate prediction. Therefore, this paper proposes a short-term power prediction method for WFC considering wind power cumulative effect (CE) and temporal causality (TC). Firstly, the two relationships (CE and TC) between wind farms are clarified and used to construct an adjacency matrix separately, then the error characteristics (EC) are used to form an adjacency matrix as well. Secondly, the adjacency matrix information with different attributes is fused by the multi-channel attention mechanism to obtain the wind power prediction results. Finally, the proposed method is applied to three WFCs in China, by which the universality and effectiveness of the method is verified. Compared with the traditional prediction method, its RMSE is reduced by 1.55 %, 1 % and 3.4 % on average.

With the massive increase in electricity consumption, technologies that help the production and distribution of this resource became indispensable. In particular, distribution becomes a major challenge when taking into account alternative sources through Distributed Generation. In this view, this paper aims to survey the main contributions related to the application of intelligent solutions in the process of electricity distribution. Through a systematic literature review, a comparative analysis of the most relevant work on the target topic is performed considering the application of Smart Grid principles. The methodology adopted in the literature review and the main results are presented by means of a six group categorization, namely: communication in electrical structures, computational modeling, load control, microgrids, energy storage, and economic viability. © European Association for the Development of Renewable Energy, Environment and Power Quality (EA4EPQ). In this paper, we propose a novel method to detect rectangular and triangular traffic signs in natural scenes according to the geometric features of the rectangle and triangle traffic signs. It is a Gradient-direction-based method that mainly includes four stages: gradient information classification, filter templates-based line segments with different orientation extraction, structural corners detection and rectangle/triangle detection. The extracted corners are categorized into different sets according to the orientation of the line segments, by which we can quickly extract rectangle and triangle traffic signs in image. And the experimental results demonstrate under different conditions are shown that the proposed method can detect rectangular and triangular traffic signs in natural scenes efficiently and robustness.

The problem of ash and slagging on the heating surface of coal-fired power station boilers has always existed in the production and operation process of modern coal-fired power *** smog and slagging on the heated surface will not only cause the heat exchange efficiency to deteriorate, but also cause safety accidents such as corrosion of the heated surface and tube *** order to solve this problem, it is necessary to monitor the ash deposition of the boiler heating surface and develop a pollution degree standard for the soot blowing *** paper presents a monitoring model based on the ash deposition of the economizer heating surface of a coal-fired power station *** the boiler of 600 MW generator set of a power plant in Jiaxing, Zhejiang as the research object, the measured data obtained by the on-site DCS, then the wavelet denoising process, and then the thermodynamic formula is used to calculate the ash pollution factor which can characterize the degree of ash deposition on the heated surface of the *** experimental results prove the validity of the above model and have important significance for the later research on intelligent soot blowing operation

The ac servo system plays an increasingly important role in modern society. The ac servo drive technology based on FPGA becomes important research direction for its advantages of fast processing speed and flexible designing. A permanent magnet synchronous motor servo control system based on FPGA was model-based designed in this paper. It built three-closed-loop servo control model in Simulink which can simulate the performance of the algorithm, and it completed automatic code generation and configuration in Xilinx Zynq-7000. In addition, it built a complete set of permanent magnet synchronous motor servo control hardware platform. This paper proposes an integrated design and simulation method based on FPGA servo control to improve the efficiency of system design. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

This paper proposes a distributed estimates fusion algorithm for target tracking problem based on consensus method and cubature kalman filter with switching topology network. In order to get the accurate state information of maneuvering target via sensor network, this paper develops filter algorithm by taking the advantage of consensus method and cubature kalman filter. Firstly, each sensor node gets the local estimation by performing cubature kalman filter algorithm. Secondly, we develops a fusion protocol to fuse the estimates from each sensor node in the sensor network based on the consensus method. In this step, the switching topologies of sensor network is considered and the sufficient condition for the algorithm proposed in this paper is given. Besides, this paper analyses the boundedness of the algorithm proposed and gives the detailed proof of convergence. Finally, a simulation example is presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.

Fault tolerant control (FTC) for high-order multi-agent systems (MAS) with switching interaction topologies are investigated via active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) approach. The influence of the dynamics uncertainties and the actuator fault functions are estimated by the designed extended state observer (ESO), and compensated in the designed control strategy real time. The closed-loop system is proved to be stable despite the actuator fault. The algorithm for the chosen of the parameters is also given. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the designed controller, the MAS can achieve the predefined switching time-varying formation.

In this paper, a Voltage Modulated Direct Power control (VM-DPC) for doubly fed induction generator is proposed. The suggested method is implemented in the rotor reference frame, so that the phase-lock loop can be removed and relevant potential instability can be eliminated. The main advantage is that the proposed method has a relative simple structure compare to conventional Look-Up Table (LUT) DPC and sliding mode control (SMC), besides, it not only guarantees an enhanced transient performance but also keeps the steady-state harmonic spectra at the same level as voltage-oriented strategy. Finally, a simulation based on MATLAB/Simulink is provided to validate the performance of proposed VM-DPC strategy.
