Spinal cord injury is damage to the spinal cord that results in loss of functions, causes muscle, joint and bone deficits, moreover it increases the muscle tone level. FEScycling is an alternative rehabilitation process to conserve the musculoskeletal system affected by the injury in the functional state. The aim of this study is to get the legs bilaterally synchronized by FES and compare MMG signal responses. The preliminary protocol consists of five consecutive contractions. The first and the last contractions were discarded and the three intermediate contractions were analyzed. A ratio between MMG values of muscle responses during propulsion and return of pedalling phases was calculated for each cycle and each leg. The applied FES profile consisted of pulse and burst on time of 250 us and 5 ms and frequencies of 1000 Hz and 20 Hz, respectively. Results showed that greater MMG RMS values tend to occur during the propulsion phase than in the return phase. MMG Z axis of RLL and MMG X axis of LLL were the axes that presented the greatest ratios. The MMG RMS signal showed that greater values tend to occur during the propulsion phase than in the return phase of the same thigh.

Journal articles are required all researchers as references to improve the quality of research so that the results are better than existing studies. The presence of many journal indexers that collect articles from many publishers and repositories are very helpful to lecturers and researchers to locate articles in their specific areas of interest. The main issues in the indexing include: (i) the selection and collection process articles data, (ii) the management of indexing based on source and relevance of science (iii) the accuracy and speed of the search process, and (iv) the relationship between the articles each other called citation. The desirable by readers from the indexer is to get relevant and good-quality articles easily and accurately. While the interest of the journal managers is to supply their article which reader preferred then hope many cited to their journals. This is where the position of an indexer to bridge publisher and reader. This paper presents the architecture of Indonesian Publications Index (IPI) as the bridge. This architecture is designed with three layers. The layers are the data collection layer, storage layer, and service layer. The functionality of the first layer is IPI collaboration with publishers, the second layer is the index management system, the third layer is a service to the readers. Service layer built on a variety of applications such as web based applications, mobile applications and e-library.

This article presents a method to assess whether folksonomies are useful shared conceptualizations for conceptual modeling. A method based on the tripartite model (actors, concepts and instances) induces from social applications a folksonomy related to a domain of knowledge. The hypothesis of this paper is that if folksonomies are shared conceptualizations, then using them in conceptual modeling should reduce the number of divergences between actors when they elicit terms to be part of a model (a concept map in this article). A controlled experiment of conceptual modeling was performed with experimental groups who received tags inducted from data of categorizations from Delicious and control groups who received terms extracted from Web pages categorized on Delicious. The results show that the experimental groups obtained less divergences (on average) in elicitation of terms when compared to control groups.

In this paper several previously successfully tested approaches for PSO algorithm are merged. The Multiple-Choice strategy for PSO algorithm with chaotic pseudorandom number generator based on chaotic Dissipative Standard Map is enhanced with basic Dimensional mutation technique. The particular chaotic map selection was based on previous long-term research of chaos driven PSO. The approach is tested on a set of well-known benchmark functions with variety of dimensional settings and strict limit of cost function evaluations. Thus the potential of this method for needs of fast and real-time optimization is investigated. Promising results presented in the results section and briefly analyzed.

Maritime monitoring is a typical Big Data problem where hundreds of thousands of vessels across the globe transmit messages about their location, speed and other information. We have developed a system for online vessel tracking that performs, as a first step, a high-rate but accurate trajectory compression. Subsequently, the compressed trajectories are analyzed by a complex event recognition engine, promptly reporting alerts to maritime authorities. To deal with realistic maritime event patterns, we seamlessly integrated spatial and temporal reasoning for online event recognition. The system is evaluated on real data from the Greek seas.
