Imidazoles are widely used as curing agents and accelerators for fabricating crosslinked epoxy materials applied in electrical and electronic ***,the intrinsic chemical structure of imidazole derivatives would greatly influence the polymerisation process,and further change the electrical properties,which was not *** achieve an in-depth understanding,commonly used imidazole only containing pyridine-type nitrogen and imidazole with both pyridine and pyrrole-type nitrogen were selected in this *** properties including dielectric properties,volume resistivity,breakdown strength,and especially energy storage performances were systematically *** figured out that higher breakdown strength,glass transition temperature,and lower dielectric loss can be achieved with imidazole containing pyrrole-type ***-induced curing mechanism diversity and the generated differences in polymer network were *** the capability to incorporate into the polymer network,the dielectric constant/loss of epoxy cured by imidazole containing pyrrole-type nitrogen is less sensitive with variation in concentration and a high breakdown strength of 577.9 MV/m was *** the contrary,conspicuous decrease in the breakdown strength and increase in dielectric loss of the epoxy cured by imidazole only containing pyridine-type nitrogen were observed,especially at high ***,we also found that the epoxy can be fabricated into films with an attractive energy storage density/efficiency of 1.1 J/cm^(3)/97%@200 MV/m,which is twice of the commercial dielectric polypropylene film under the same electric field.

Hyperspectral imaging is gaining a significant role in agricultural remote sensing *** data unit is the hyperspectral cube which holds spatial information in two dimensions while spectral band information of each pixel in the third *** classification accuracy of hyperspectral images(HSI)increases significantly by employing both spatial and spectral *** this work,the data was acquired using an airborne hyperspectral imager system which collected HSI in the visible and near-infrared(VNIR)range of 400 to 1000 nm wavelength within 180 spectral *** dataset is collected for nine different crops on agricultural land with a spectral resolution of 3.3 nm wavelength for each *** data was cleaned from geometric distortions and stored with the class labels and annotations of global localization using the inertial navigation *** this study,a unique pixel-based approach was designed to improve the crops'classification accuracy by using the edge-preserving features(EPF)and principal component analysis(PCA)in *** preliminary processing generated the high-dimensional EPF stack by applying the edge-preserving filters on acquired *** the second step,this high dimensional stack was treated with the PCA for dimensionality reduction without losing significant spectral *** resultant feature space(PCA-EPF)demonstrated enhanced class separability for improved crop classification with reduced dimensionality and computational *** support vector machines classifier was employed for multiclass classification of target crops using *** classification performance evaluation was measured in terms of individual class accuracy,overall accuracy,average accuracy,and Cohen kappa *** proposed scheme achieved greater than 90%results for all the performance evaluation *** PCA-EPF proved to be an effective attribute for crop classification using hyperspectral imaging in the VNIR *** proposed scheme

To stop the COVID-19 spread, artificial intelligence and new technologies are also actively participating in the battle. For fighting against the virus, disinfection is one of the effective ways to block the spread of the virus. According to the preliminary market research, only in the large distribution centers is the operator-controlled machine disinfection, at present most of the small and medium-sized express logistics stations are through human resources to carry out disinfection, and sorting of express packages, so the dependence on human costs, medical resources can be imagined. To this end, we designed ultrasonic atomization disinfection, sorting, and whole load notification integrated machine based on deep learning [1] and Internet of Things [2] technology to cope with the trend of normalization and recurrence of the epidemic. After testing logistics with different labels, the experimental results show that the system can effectively distinguish different labels and carry out a series of operations such as disinfection, sorting, and notification of full load, which can be put into production and contribute to epidemic prevention work. © 2023 IEEE.

The term 'smart grid' describes the future generation of electrical power networks, which are very complicated systems. It must take into account all aspects of the electrical system, increasing its intelligence and adaptability. In response to shifts in the electrical market, this idea is put out with the intention of controlling the rising demand while guaranteeing higher service quality and enhanced safety. This research presents an urban scenario that incorporates dispersed energy sources into a smart grid. The research incorporates renewable energy sources like solar panels and tiny windmills into the system, as well as battery storage and grid-connected vehicles that can power the electrical grid by drawing electricity from the storage device. So, to maximize the energy production and absorption systems as well as the recharging and discharging time for a home user's electric car, a mixed integer linear programming is proposed. Additionally, a number of case studies are provided by changing important variables using the Taguchi technique of design of experiments in order to identify the best solution and demonstrate how each influences the system's complexity. © 2024 IEEE.

The texture of food plays a vital role in its overall quality, affecting both sensory experience and functional aspects, such as processing and preservation. To study texture in the field of food science and technology, various analytical methods are used to measure mechanical properties such as hardness, cohesiveness, and viscosity. One widely utilized technique for evaluating the texture of solid foods, particularly those with high firmness or brittleness such as dried vegetables, is compression testing. Here, a force is applied to a food sample until it deforms or fractures. In this particular study, dried onions, carrots, and peppers were chosen as test samples to investigate their texture and compression properties. To perform the tests, the researchers employed a Shimadzu AGS-X universal testing machine equipped with a 1 kN load cell capacity. This machine allowed them to compress the samples and measure the force required to achieve a specific deformation. The obtained results revealed that the texture and compression properties of the dried vegetables were significantly influenced by the specific part of the vegetable being tested. For instance, when examining the dried onions, a notable disparity was observed between the inner and outer parts. The basal plate of the onion, in particular, exhibited much greater hardness compared to the middle portion of the dried onion. Consequently, breaking the sample required a higher compression force. This discovery implies that the texture and compression properties of dried vegetables are closely tied to their inherent characteristics, internal structure, and composition. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2024.

Although some fruits have a fixed shape, but the growth process, the shape will still be different, different fruit shape has a certain impact on the subsequent fruit classification and selection. In order to realize fruit shape classification quickly and accurately, a novel fruit shape classification method based on level set and broad learning system(BLS) is proposed in this paper. Firstly, fruit shape information is extracted based on level set, then fruit image information is extracted based on BLS, and finally, shape information and fruit information are fused to carry out fruit shape classification research. The method was applied to the classification of the fruit shape, and the experimental results showed the effectiveness of the proposed method. © 2024 IEEE.

The research of swarm intelligence shows a rapid development trend. People have studied a lot of swarm intelligence algorithms inspired by biology. Sparrow search algorithm is concerned by many scholars because of its powerful search performance. However, in the case of high-dimension optimization problems, if only a single sparrow search algorithm is used to solve optimization problems, the optimal solution often cannot be found, and the phenomenon of dimension disaster will occur or it is easy to fall into the local optimal solution. In order to make sparrow search algorithm have better performance in solving high-dimensional complex problems, In this paper, we propose a new Sparrow Search Algorithm with Adaptive Collaborative Updating (SSA-ACU). The SSA-ACU algorithm initializes the population through the chaotic search strategy to make the population distribution more diverse. Then, adaptive parameters are introduced to update the position of the leader to provide a more reliable direction for particle search. Finally, in order to enhance the development ability of the population, the position of the adjoint is updated through the pseudo-affine transformation mechanism to change the mode of its position update. Then CEC2013 was used to test and compare SSA-ACU algorithm with other sparrow search algorithm variants and classical algorithms, and it was verified that SSA-ACU algorithm has good performance in convergence speed and optimization ability. © 2024, Taiwan Ubiquitous Information CO LTD. Blindness is a common disability that affects millions of people globally. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), there are approximately 285 million individuals in the globe who are visually challenged, with 39 million classified as blind and 246 million having low vision. The vast majority, about 90%, of these individuals live in developing countries. Conventional walking sticks are ineffective in identifying obstacles, offering a substantial challenge to the visually impaired. In response to this problem, the study proposes a revolutionary solution: the "smart blind stick."The recent technologies integrates sensors with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and wireless transmission to help visually impaired individuals. The identification of obstacles is vital to its functioning, which is especially important for people with visual impairments. The model consists of an ultrasonic sensor, a camera, and a speaker into the smart blind stick to tackle this issue. These components operate in tandem to detect items and notify the user as soon as they are detected. The smart stick also includes an emergency switch, GSM, and GPS capabilities. In an emergency, the user can activate this option, causing the system to send an SMS to a specified contact, replete with the user's actual location. The incorporation of these characteristics is an important step toward increasing the self-reliance of visually impaired people while navigating their surroundings. The smart blind stick is a companion as well as a walking assistance, allowing users to face daily problems with greater confidence and independence. © 2024 IEEE.

Distributed Task Allocation for Self-Interested Agents with Partially Unknown Rewards

This paper provides a novel solution to a task allocation problem, by which a group of agents assigns a discrete set of tasks in a distributed manner. In this setting, heterogeneous agents have individual preferences and associated rewards for doing each task;however, these rewards are only known asymptotically. The assignment problem is formulated by means of a combinatorial partition game for known rewards, with no constraints on the number of tasks per agent. We relax this into a weight game, which together with the former, are shown to contain the optimal task allocation in the corresponding set of Nash Equilibria (NE). We then propose a projected, best-response, ascending gradient dynamics (PBRAG) that converges to a NE in finite time. This forms the basis of a distributed online version that can deal with a converging sequence of rewards by means of an agreement sub-routine. We present simulations that support our results. © 1963-2012 IEEE.
