This paper deals with a brief description of the motors with electronic commutation and with motor control. It focuses on the description of the construction of the basic types of these motors. It also describes the essential parts of electronic devices, enabling the control as well as the main types of sensored motor control. The aim is to implement the chosen method using the board Arduino Mega 2560. The sensorless control method based on the back electromotive force (EMF-B) zero crossing measurement was chosen for this purpose. The selected method is based on the comparison of the voltage with the virtual neutral point of the motor. The proposal described in the paper finds its application in various branches of industry, as for designs of various machine tools and industrial lines where BLDC motors are mounted, as well as in industry where it is necessary to drive the motor speed control.

The paper discusses the application of System on Chip devices for processing Megapixel video streams. The domain of image processing using high resolution images is very demanding in the scope of calculating power and frequently exploits special processing hardware. The progress of integration technology brings about SoC which are capable of meeting such processing demands. Characteristics of FPGA and DSP based systems are assessed. A concise survey of chip solutions is presented and a pair of representative systems is chosen for comparison of their properties. The design of a smoke detection system is used for evaluating the advantages and drawbacks of using such SoC solutions. Almost identical image processing algorithms are implemented in the case of FPGA and DSP. Both solutions meet the image processing requirements and are suitable for real time processing. FPGA based solution is much faster as it uses pipelining for improving the utilisation of scarce memory resources.

A novel adaptive ILC approach is proposed for the control tasks of tracking iteration-varying desired trajectory. The output the controlled system is reformulated as a function of initial states and control inputs only. Then, an iteration-dynamical linearization is proposed for the controlled system. With the identical initial conditions, the system output is finally formulated by the input series only. Then, a learning control law is designed according to the iteration dynamical linearization, where the unknown system parameter is estimated by an iterative updating law. Simulation study confirms the efficiency and application of the proposed method.

Parallel data processing is a fast data manipulation. Input data are processed by multiple devices due to speed and job allocation for individual devices. This paper describes using of parallel processing input values by two microcontroller STM32F446RE and microcontroller STM32F746ZG which is presented as a master device. The other microcontrollers are slaves. This device processing input logic status from 32 input buttons that makes 32-bit word. There is master/slave architecture, where slaves scan the pins and send the status to the master device. The primary advantage of parallel processing is dividing of tasks between two or more processors and it means that each processor can operates independently with a smaller number of operations. This advantage does not burden the processor such as if only one processor operates. As result it was created equipment for educational purposes to train specialists in the field of data processing.
