Two-dimensional(2D)transition metal dichalcogenides(TMDCs)have attracted growing interest regarding their potential applications in next-generation electronic and optoelectronic *** to their atomic thickness and tunable bandgap,they exhibit unique mechanical,electrical,and optical *** a specific member of the TMDC family,rhenium disulfide(ReS_(2))has stimulated intensive interest due to its anisotropic crystal structure,weak inter-layer coupling,and anisotropic electrical and optical *** this review,we summarize the distinct crystal structure and intrinsic anisotropic properties of ReS_(2),followed by an introduction to its synthesis *** current applications of ReS_(2)and its heterojunctions are presented based on its anisotropic *** review not only provides a timely summary of the current applications of ReS_(2)and its heterojunctions,but also inspires new approaches to develop other innovative devices based on 2D materials with a low lattice symmetry.

With the rapid advances in computer vision, human action recognition has gradually received attention, but the current methods still exhibit some problems in indoor environments. The human skeleton, as the framework of human motion, contains high-quality actional feature information, and the skeleton-based action recognition method effectively avoid the interference of interior background noise and has advantages in indoor action recognition. The outstanding effect of graph convolutional networks on graph structure data processing has led to its rapid development and wide application in skeleton-based action recognition. Second-order skeletal information also contains a large number of actional features but is not effectively utilized. The artificial predefined topology of the human skeleton map has limitations, and cannot reflect the interaction between limbs. To solve the above problems, this article designs an adaptive weighted multi-stream graph convolutional network (AM-GCN) based on skeletal information, using an attention mechanism to enhance the network's ability to extract actional features, and an adaptive layer to make the construction graph more flexible, incorporating second-order skeletal features through a dual-stream architecture. In this article, the NTU-RGB+D dataset has been used for the experiments, the results show that the method in this article has good results. © 2023 IEEE.

The effects of fluorination on amorphous indium-gallium-zinc oxide thin-film transistors fabricated on polyimide (PI) at a maximal temperature of 300 °C were investigated. An excimer laser was used to lift-off the PI from a glass-based carrier substrate. The resulting TFTs exhibit more positive threshold voltage, steeper subthreshold swing, reduced apparent short-channel effects, and tighter distribution of device parameters. Various test circuit blocks and a 4-stage 15T1C gate driver were constructed to demonstrate the beneficial effects of fluorination on circuit applications. © 2021 SID.

Consumption of green energy in residential communities is increasing compared to conventional supply. However, the variability in generation due to different weather parameters is a significant challenge to their growth rate. Energy storage has the potential to address this issue, and sharing economy-based cloud energy storage (CES) has gained popularity as a way to reduce energy consumption costs and increase revenue. This study analyzes the deployment of CES infrastructure operation in seven residential smart homes community. All seven homes utilized CES services based on their daily net load demand. In the first phase, the PSO algorithm optimized the load trajectory, taking into account all smart home parameters and physical components. Subsequently, the operational cost of CES in the community is evaluated in scenarios with and without home energy management systems. Simulation results indicated that the energy consumption cost of the residential community from the grid is zero, and revenue is 43.59% higher when home energy management systems are employed. The modeled home parameters significantly affected total community energy costs.

In this paper, we consider the optimization of federated learning (FL) over a realistic wireless multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) communication system with digital modulation and over-the-air computation (AirComp). In such a system, MIMO devices transmit their locally trained FL models to a parameter server (PS) using beamforming to maximize the number of devices scheduled for transmission. AirComp enables efficient wireless model aggregation by the PS in bandwidth-limited settings. However, wireless channel fading can produce distortions in AirComp-based FL. To tackle this challenge, we develop a novel aggregation scheme that combines digital modulation with AirComp to mitigate wireless fading while ensuring communication efficiency. We formulate this as a joint transmit-receive beamforming design optimization problem which dynamically adjusts the beamforming matrices to minimize the FL training loss with transmission errors. To solve this problem based on limited information at the PS, we employ an artificial neural network (ANN) to estimate the local FL models of all devices. Then, we derive a closed-form optimal design of the transmit and receive beamforming matrices based on predicted FL models. Numerical evaluations validate the advantages of the proposed methodology in terms of model training performance compared with baselines.

With increasing numbers of mobile robots arriving in real-world applications, more robots coexist in the same space, interact, and possibly collaborate. Methods to provide such systems with system size scalability are known, for example, from swarm robotics. Example strategies are self-organizing behavior, a strict decentralized approach, and limiting the robot-robot communication. Despite applying such strategies, any multi-robot system breaks above a certain critical system size (i.e., number of robots) as too many robots share a resource (e.g., space, communication channel). We provide additional evidence based on simulations, that at these critical system sizes, the system performance separates into two phases: nearly optimal and minimal performance. We speculate that in real-world applications that are configured for optimal system size, the supposedly high-performing system may actually live on borrowed time as it is on a transient to breakdown. Bipolar medium-voltage dc (MVDC) distribution systems are of great interests nowadays due to its high availability and reliability. A bipolar MVDC grid can be established by the installation of power-balancers or directly by converters with inherent bipolar operation capability to avoid the extra cost and volume. Therefore, this paper proposes a modular multilevel dc-dc converter (MMDC) with inherent bipolar operation capability for the interconnection of bipolar MVDC grids and LVDC girds. Considering that the MMDC is normally only capable of operating with monopole MVDC distribution systems due to the symmetric structure and operation scheme, a center-Tapped high-frequency interface transformer is employed on the MV side of the MMDC. Based on the concept of the flux dc-bias cancellation, a dedicated operation method is proposed, whereby the power flows of the two MVDC poles can be regulated independently with a simple control scheme, and no penalty of increased current rating is imposed on the semiconductor devices or the interface transformer compared to the conventional MMDC with monopole operation. Additionally, the MMDC can realize single-pole operation in case one pole is faulty and deliver at least 50% of the rated power capacity, which significantly enhance the reliability and availability of the power delivery. The validity of the proposed bipolar operation scheme of the MMDC has been verified by both simulations and experiments with a down-scale prototype. © 2017 CPSS.

Recently there is a growing focus on graph data, and multi-view graph clustering has become a popular area of research interest. Most of the existing methods are only applicable to homophilous graphs, yet the extensive real-world graph data can hardly fulfill the homophily assumption, where the connected nodes tend to belong to the same class. Several studies have pointed out that the poor performance on heterophilous graphs is actually due to the fact that conventional graph neural networks (GNNs), which are essentially low-pass filters, discard information other than the low-frequency information on the graph. Nevertheless, on certain graphs, particularly heterophilous ones, neglecting high-frequency information and focusing solely on low-frequency information impedes the learning of node representations. To break this limitation, our motivation is to perform graph filtering that is closely related to the homophily degree of the given graph, with the aim of fully leveraging both low-frequency and high-frequency signals to learn distinguishable node embedding. In this work, we propose Adaptive Hybrid Graph Filter for Multi-View Graph Clustering (AHGFC). Specifically, a graph joint process and graph joint aggregation matrix are first designed by using the intrinsic node features and adjacency relationship, which makes the low and high-frequency signals on the graph more distinguishable. Then we design an adaptive hybrid graph filter that is related to the homophily degree, which learns the node embedding based on the graph joint aggregation matrix. After that, the node embedding of each view is weighted and fused into a consensus embedding for the downstream task. Experimental results show that our proposed model performs well on six datasets containing homophilous and heterophilous graphs. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. All rights reserved.

In the process of steel plate production, predicting the plate shape is of great significance for producing high-quality and consistently stable plate shapes. This paper presents a model that predicts both the defect types and flatness of the plate, providing theoretical support for setting process parameters in roller quenching production. First, the parameters of the quenching process are analyzed to identify their characteristics. Then, the K-Means clustering algorithm and correlation analysis are employed to process the quenching process parameters. A gradient boosting decision tree (GBDT) model is used to predict the defect types and flatness of the steel plates. Finally, industrial production data is utilized for experimental validation. The obtained experimental results verify the reliability of the proposed method. © 2023 IEEE.
