Neuromorphic computing vision is the most promising technological solution to overcome the arithmetic bottleneck in machine vision ***-in-one neuromorphic sensors have been attracting increased attention because they can integrate visual perception,processing,and memory functionalities into one single ***,the limited responsivity and data retention time of all-in-one neuromorphic sensors usually hinder their potential in multispectral machine vision,especially in the near-infrared(NIR)band which contains critical information for pattern ***,we demonstrate physisorption-assistant optoelectronic synaptic transistors based on Ta2NiSe5/SnS2 heterojunction,which present tunable synaptic functionality in broadband(375-1310 nm).We propose a strategy about the physisorption-assistant persistent photoconductivity(PAPPC)effect to effectively solve the problem in detecting and storing the NIR light *** this strategy,the responsivity and data retention time of our devices were significantly enhanced and prolonged in broadband from 375 to 1310 ***,the devices realize multilevel non-volatile optoelectronic memory through the modulation of several optical and back-gate signals to simulate emotion-controlled learning and memory processes,optical writing-electric erasing,and associative ***,we developed a simplified human visual system to simulate color-cognitive perception and memory *** approach offers a route for creating advanced all-in-one neuromorphic sensors and developing neuromorphic computing vision.

The Bloch band theory and Brillouin zone(BZ)that characterize wave-like behaviors in periodic mediums are two cornerstones of contemporary physics,ranging from condensed matter to topological *** theoretical breakthrough revealed that,under the projective symmetry algebra enforced by artificial gauge fields,the usual two-dimensional(2D)BZ(orientable Brillouin two-torus)can be fundamentally modified to a non-orientable Brillouin Klein bottle with radically distinct manifold ***,the physical consequence of artificial gauge fields on the more general three-dimensional(3D)BZ(orientable Brillouin three-torus)was so far ***,we theoretically discovered and experimentally observed that the fundamental domain and topology of the usual 3D BZ can be reduced to a non-orientable Brillouin Klein space or an orientable Brillouin half-turn space in a 3D acoustic crystal with artificial gauge *** experimentally identify peculiar 3D momentum-space non-symmorphic screw rotation and glide reflection symmetries in the measured band ***,we experimentally demonstrate a novel stacked weak Klein bottle insulator featuring a nonzero Z2 topological invariant and self-collimated topological surface states at two opposite surfaces related by a nonlocal twist,radically distinct from all previous 3D topological *** discovery not only fundamentally modifies the fundamental domain and topology of 3D BZ,but also opens the door towards a wealth of previously overlooked momentum-space multidimensional manifold topologies and novel gaugesymmetry-enriched topological physics and robust acoustic wave manipulations beyond the existing paradigms.

This work focuses on the downlink of a single-cell multi-user system in which a base station (BS) equipped with M antennas communicates with K single-antenna users. We consider the low-complexity design of the optimal linear precoder (OLP) that maximizes the minimum signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) while ensuring multi-weighted power constraints. To this end, we consider the asymptotic regime in which M and K grow large with a given ratio. Tools of random matrix theory (RMT) are used to compute, in explicit form, deterministic approximations for the parameters of the OLP and the optimal powers. The derived approximations are instrumental for getting further insight into the structure of the optimal precoders, predicting the active weighted power constraint, and reducing the implementation complexity in large-scale networks. Numerical results are used to validate the asymptotic analysis in the finite system regime and investigate the impact of weighted power constraints on the system energy efficiency (EE).

One of the major concerns for the utilities in the Smart Grid(SG)is electricity *** the implementation of smart meters,the frequency of energy usage and data collection from smart homes has increased,which makes it possible for advanced data analysis that was not previously *** this purpose,we have taken historical data of energy thieves and normal *** avoid imbalance observation,biased estimates,we applied the interpolation ***,the data unbalancing issue is resolved in this paper by Nearmiss undersampling technique and makes the data suitable for further *** proposing an improved version of Zeiler and Fergus Net(ZFNet)as a feature extraction approach,we had able to reduce the model’s time *** minimize the overfitting issues,increase the training accuracy and reduce the training loss,we have proposed an enhanced method by merging Adaptive Boosting(AdaBoost)classifier with Coronavirus Herd Immunity Optimizer(CHIO)and Forensic based Investigation Optimizer(FBIO).In terms of low computational complexity,minimized over-fitting problems on a large quantity of data,reduced training time and training loss and increased training accuracy,our model outperforms the benchmark *** proposed algorithms Ada-CHIO andAda-FBIO,have the low MeanAverage Percentage Error(MAPE)value of error,i.e.,6.8%and 9.5%,***,due to the stability of our model our proposed algorithms Ada-CHIO and Ada-FBIO have achieved the accuracy of 93%and 90%.Statistical analysis shows that the hypothesis we proved using statistics is authentic for the proposed technique against benchmark algorithms,which also depicts the superiority of our proposed techniques.

The molecular orientations of conjugated materials on the substrate mainly include edge-on,face-on,and ***-on and face-on orientations have been widely observed,while end-on orientation has been rarely *** in organic solar cells(OSCs)charge transport is along the vertical direction,end-on orientation with conjugated backbones perpendicular to the substrate is recognized as the ideal microstructure for *** this work,we for the first time obtained the preferential end-on orientation in a conjugated molecular dyad that contains a conjugated backbone as donor and perylene bisimide side units as *** was realized by introducing a fused-ring structure to replace linear terthiophenes with conjugated backbones,yielding F-MDPBI and L-MDPBI ***,a shifting trend of the molecular orientation from dominating edge-on in L-MDPBI to preferential end-on in F-MDPBI was *** a consequence,vertical charge carrier mobilities in F-MDPBI are one order of magnitude higher than those with preferential edge-on orientation,so single-component OSCs based on this molecular dyad as a single photoactive layer provided a power conversion efficiency of 4.89% compared to 1.70% based on L-MDPBI with preferential edge-on orientation.

The Hamming distance, a fundamental measure of dissimilarity between data points, plays a crucial role in various fields, including error detection, machine learning, and genomic sequence alignment, where it is commonly used for identifying mismatches in nucleotide or protein sequences. This work introduces two implementations for computing Hamming distances for sequence alignment: synchronous and asynchronous matrix-based approaches. While most existing implementations rely on vector-based methods due to their simplicity and ease of use, they are not efficient for large-scale data. Our work focuses on enhancing performance by introducing matrix-based implementations that significantly improve computational efficiency and scalability. Our asynchronous implementation showcases Julia for sequential task flow and PaRSEC for parameterized task graph execution models on homogeneous and heterogeneous architectures. CPU computations use INT8 GEMM from oneMKL, while GPU implementations employ Tensor/Matrix Core INT8 GEMM from cuBLAS/hipBLAS and 1-bit TensorOps GEMM capabilities from CUTLASS. For constructing bitmask matrices on GPUs, we develop both a naive CUDA implementation using global memory and an optimized implementation utilizing shared memory at the warp level, with the optimized version achieving a 5X speedup over the naive approach. The results demonstrate significant performance improvements, with the asynchronous matrix-based implementation achieving up to 284X speedup over the vector-based approach on CPUs, while the asynchronous GPU-enabled implementation on A100 GPUs delivers a 15X speedup compared to the CPU matrix-based approach and a three orders of magnitude improvement over the CPU vector-based approach. Furthermore, the asynchronous implementation of PaRSEC scales well on up to 256 nodes of Summit and Frontier. Explainable AI-aided Feature Selection and Model Reduction for DRL-based V2X Resource Allocation

Artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to significantly enhance radio resource management (RRM) in sixth-generation (6G) networks. However, the lack of explainability in complex deep learning (DL) models poses a challenge for practical implementation. This paper proposes a novel explainable AI (XAI)based framework for feature selection and model complexity reduction in a model-agnostic manner. Applied to a multi-agent deep reinforcement learning (MADRL) setting, our approach addresses the joint sub-band assignment and power allocation problem in cellular vehicle-to-everything (V2X) communications. We propose a novel two-stage systematic explainability framework leveraging feature relevance-oriented XAI to simplify the DRL agents. While the former stage generates a state feature importance ranking of the trained models using Shapley additive explanations (SHAP)-based importance scores, the latter stage exploits these importance-based rankings to simplify the state space of the agents by removing the least important features from the model’s input. Simulation results demonstrate that the XAI-assisted methodology achieves ∼97% of the original MADRL sum-rate performance while reducing optimal state features by ∼28%, average training time by ∼11%, and trainable weight parameters by ∼46% in a network with eight vehicular pairs. Organic solar cells(OSCs)have emerged as a promising solution for sustainable energy production,offering advantages such as a low carbon footprint,short energy payback period,and compatibility with ***,the use of hazardous solvents continues to dominate the best-performing OSCs,mainly because of the challenges of controlling phase separation and domain crystallinity in *** this study,we combined the solvent vapor treatment of CS2 and thermal annealing to precisely control the phase separation and domain crystallinity in PM6:M-Cl and PM6:O-Cl systems processed with the eco-solvent *** method resulted in a maximum power conversion efficiency(PCE)of 18.4%,which is among the highest values reported for sustainable binary ***,the fabrication techniques were transferred from spin coating in a nitrogen environment to blade printing in ambient air,retaining a PCE of 16.0%,showing its potential for high-throughput and scalable *** addition,a comparative analysis of OSCs processed with hazardous and green solvents was conducted to reveal the differences in phase *** work not only underscores the significance of sustainability in OSCs but also lays the groundwork for unlocking the full potential of open-air-printable sustainable OSCs for commercialization.

Diffraction-free propagation and self-healing characteristics [1] of Bessel beams have generated significant interest in the scientific community. Zeroth-order Bessel beams (ZOBBs) have maximum intensity at the center and found many applications, including bio-imaging material processing, optical trapping, bio-imaging, and quantum communication. On the other hand, higher-order (vortex) Bessel beams (HOBBs) present a helical wavefront, so they have a node due to a phase singularity and carry orbital angular momentum (OAM). Over the past years, Bessel beams have been generated by using different approaches - which could be different for ZOBBs and HOBBs - namely by Fourier transforming a narrow circular beam with a lens, by using axicons or with holographic beam shaping techniques.
