He received his Dipl.-Eng. degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering in 1979. Since 1981 he has been working as a Research Assistant at the Power Systems Laboratory of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His special interests are power systems analysis with emphasis in the computation of electromagnetic transients.
