The Wireless Sensor Network(WSN)is a network that is constructed in regions that are inaccessible to human *** widespread deployment of wireless micro sensors will make it possible to conduct accurate environmental monitoring for a use in both civil and military *** make use of these data to monitor and keep track of the physical data of the surrounding environment in order to ensure the sustainability of the *** data have to be picked up by the sensor,and then sent to the sink node where they may be *** nodes of the WSNs are powered by batteries,therefore they eventually run out of *** energy restriction has an effect on the network life span and environmental *** objective of this study is to further improve the Engroove Leach(EL)protocol’s energy efficiency so that the network can operate for a very long time while consuming the least amount of *** lifespan of WSNs is being extended often using clustering and routing *** Meta Inspired Hawks Fragment Optimization(MIHFO)system,which is based on passive clustering,is used in this study to do *** cluster head is chosen based on the nodes’residual energy,distance to neighbors,distance to base station,node degree,and node *** on distance,residual energy,and node degree,an algorithm known as Heuristic Wing Antfly Optimization(HWAFO)selects the optimum path between the cluster head and Base Station(BS).They examine the number of nodes that are active,their energy consumption,and the number of data packets that the BS *** overall experimentation is carried out under the MATLAB *** the analysis,it has been discovered that the suggested approach yields noticeably superior outcomes in terms of throughput,packet delivery and drop ratio,and average energy consumption.

The fundamental advantages of carbon-based graphene material,such as its high tunnelling probability,symmetric band structure(linear dependence of the energy band on the wave direction),low effective mass,and characteristics of its 2D atomic layers,are the main focus of this research *** impact of channel thickness,gate under-lap,asymmetric source/drain doping method,workfunction of gate contact,and High-K material on Graphene-based Tunnel Field Effect Transistor(TFET)is analyzed with 20 nm *** modelling and electrical characteristic performance have been simulated using the Atlas device simulator of SILVACO TCAD with user-defined material syntax for the newly included graphene material in comparison to silicon carbide(SiC).The simulation results in significant suppression of ambipolar current to voltage characteristics of TFET and modelled device exhibits a significant improvement in subthreshold swing(0.0159 V/decade),the ratio of Ion/Ioff(1000),and threshold voltage(-0.2 V with highly doped p-type source and 0.2 V with highly doped n-type drain)with power supply of 0.5 V,which make it useful for low power digital applications.

This paper introduces 'Smart Irrigation Yield Optimization (SIYO),' a sophisticated IoT-based smart irrigation system aimed at significantly improving crop yield and growth predictions. Traditional irrigation methods such as furrow irrigation, overhead sprinkler systems, and manual watering are analyzed for their inherent inefficiencies, especially in precision and resource management. SIYO overcomes these drawbacks by employing a network of real-time sensors that monitor soil moisture, temperature, humidity, and nutrient levels, thus enabling precise and automated irrigation tailored to the specific needs of crops. This technology not only optimizes water and nutrient usage but also adapts to varying environmental conditions to maximize crop potential. Comparative studies reveal that SIYO enhances water efficiency by 0.30% over furrow irrigation, increases nutrient utilization by 0.25% compared to overhead systems, and boosts the accuracy of crop yield and growth predictions by 0.40% against manual methods. The implementation of SIYO demonstrates the substantial improvements in agricultural productivity and resource sustainability achievable with advanced IoT technologies. © 2024 IEEE.

In recent years, technological innovations have considerably improved patient care and accelerated the healing process. Effective hydration and electrolyte management are two of the most important parts of hospital care. Intravenous(IV) treatment is critical, especially for patients in intensive care units (ICUs). However, the difficulties of overloaded hospitals frequently impede the seamless administration of this critical care. Currently, manual monitoring of IV drip levels is the responsibility of nurses and hospital employees. Unfortunately, their hectic schedules might lead to mistakes and omissions. Acknowledging the significance of tackling this core problem, the suggestion involves the creation of an independent, self-regulating drip monitoring system utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) technology. This entails the incorporation of ultrasonic and LDR sensors with the ESP8266, all programmed using Arduino UNO language. This novel technology intends to revolutionize drip monitoring by overcoming obstacles such as bubble formation in IV drips and removing the need for sophisticated alarm systems. This suggested system has far-reaching implications. Nurses and hospital personnel will be freed of the burden of manual monitoring by automating the procedure, freeing up their time and attention to focus on other vital patient care activities. The capacity of the device to identify air bubbles will help to avoid potential difficulties and adverse outcomes caused by inappropriate infusion. Furthermore, IoT technology allows for real-time data transfer and remote monitoring, allowing healthcare practitioners to receive precise and up-to-date information about fluid levels and any abnormalities from any place. We can usher in a new era of efficient and dependable IV fluid management by embracing technological innovations in healthcare, improving patient outcomes, and promoting a safer healthcare environment. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes a containment control law for a heterogeneous multi-agent system (MAS) by using the binary relative position measurements of the agents and the targets. Unlike the existing methods, this approach relaxes the necessity for exact position measurements as feedback to the agents, thereby the control protocol can be executed with less accurate sensors. To the best of authors’ knowledge, this is the first attempt to design the containment law for a heterogeneous MAS based on the binary relative position measurements. Using non-smooth Lyapunov analysis, we establish the convergence of the proposed containment law under a detailed-balanced directed network with any positive control gain. The numerical simulations substantiate the efficacy of the proposed binary measurement-based containment law. © 2024 IEEE.

This research study explores the transformative potential of IoT-Enabled Smart Mirrors to redefine home connectivity by enabling seamless internet browsing and smart home integration. It introduces a novel model algorithm, IoT-ViSense (IVS), which leverages IoT sensor data fusion with vision-based Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) for real-time environmental monitoring and security. A comprehensive simulation analysis of IoT-ViSense is conducted and compared against existing algorithms using pertinent simulation metrics. IoT-Enabled Smart Mirrors serve as multifunctional interfaces, integrating personalized weather updates, news, calendar schedules, and real-time compliments. They also incorporate features such as a built-in camera for capturing high-quality selfies, on-demand workout sessions facilitated by fitness experts, and the ability to browse the internet, make calls, and interact with other connected devices. The proposed IoT-ViSense (IVS) algorithm combines IoT sensor data with Vision-based CNN analysis to enhance environmental monitoring and security. It continuously processes data from IoT sensors and camera feeds, detecting anomalies and patterns in real-time. By fusing these data streams, IVS enhances security by identifying unauthorized access and suspicious activities while concurrently optimizing resource usage and ensuring comfortable living and working environments. The simulation analysis of IoT-ViSense (IVS) is compared with suitable existing algorithms, assessing its efficiency in terms of accuracy, response time, and resource optimization. Results reveal that IoT-ViSense (IVS) outperforms other algorithms, demonstrating its prowess in achieving a harmonious blend of smart home integration and real-time environmental monitoring. © 2024 IEEE.

The developments of multi-core systems(MCS)have considerably improved the existing technologies in thefield of computer *** MCS comprises several processors that are heterogeneous for resource capacities,working environments,topologies,and so *** existing multi-core technology unlocks additional research opportunities for energy minimization by the use of effective task *** the same time,the task scheduling process is yet to be explored in the multi-core *** paper presents a new hybrid genetic algorithm(GA)with a krill herd(KH)based energy-efficient scheduling techni-que for multi-core systems(GAKH-SMCS).The goal of the GAKH-SMCS tech-nique is to derive scheduling tasks in such a way to achieve faster completion time and minimum energy *** GAKH-SMCS model involves a multi-objectivefitness function using four parameters such as makespan,processor utilization,speedup,and energy consumption to schedule tasks *** performance of the GAKH-SMCS model has been validated against two datasets namely random dataset and benchmark *** experimental outcome ensured the effectiveness of the GAKH-SMCS model interms of makespan,pro-cessor utilization,speedup,and energy *** overall simulation results depicted that the presented GAKH-SMCS model achieves energy effi-ciency by optimal task scheduling process in MCS.

Research in the field of malware detection is currently leaning toward methods based on artificial intelligence algorithms due to the increasing limitations of traditional detection methods and the increasing accuracy of these methods. This study therefore introduces a novel approach to malware detection. This method integrates a deep learning model's autoencoder network with a grayscale graphic depiction of malware. By looking at the autoencoder's reconstruction error, we may assess if the grey-scale picture approach is feasible to use for malware detection. Additionally, it differentiates between malicious and safe software by utilizing the autoencoder's dimensionality reduction capabilities. Using the Android dataset, our newly introduced detection model attained a 95% accuracy and maintained a consistently high F-score of approximately 95%. This outperformed more conventional methods of machine learning detection. © (2024), (International Association of Engineers). All Rights Reserved.
