Now a days, blockchain based IOT networks are gaining popularity for the unlimited space and robust security mechanism. Blockchain is the best solution for the IoT devices to store the huge amount of data generated by them with utmost privacy and security using distributed ledger. However, the resource constrained IoT devices having low computing power are unable to meet the huge computing requirements of data mining in blockchain networks. This paper has proposed a robust Physically Unclonable Function (PUF)-based authentication system to replace the popular consensus algorithms by a lightweight hardware-based authentication mechanism without compromising the security and privacy. The proposed ring oscillator based PUF modules fortify users' credentials and withstand various types of attacks in decentralized and tamper-resistant blockchain based IOT network with significant reduction in latency and power consumption. Attack analysis is done to compare the vulnerabilities of both the proposed and conventional systems to prominent blockchain attacks. The results of attack analysis demonstrate that the proposed system outperforms the conventional PoW system. © 2024 IEEE.

Here we present a novel technique for fusing a set of multimodal medical images utilizing the Artificial Rabbits Optimization (ARO) algorithm. The used medical images are acquired from multi-sensor integrated instruments and are mutually co-registered in the image space. Five popular fusion techniques are randomly chosen at runtime for medical image fusion (MIF) using ARO algorithm. Instantaneously, one technique is selected for fusing two multimodal images. Mutual Information (MI) of the fused image is measured and considered to be a satisfactory parameter. Higher MI is the indication of more fit cost-function value. Several quantitative measures are used to judge wellness of the planned scheme. Evaluation of the suggested scheme's efficacy in merging multimodal medical images is done by comparing it to the existing MIF approaches. © 2025 IEEE.

Statistical variation of channel quality is visualized from the measured dataset of Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio (SINR) and Reference Signal Received Power (RSRP) of a particular service provider. The training procedure of Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) models for the measured dataset is carried out with different number of hidden layers applying rectified linear activation function and adaptive moment estimation optimization technique as they are well accepted in prediction task. The proficiency in prediction is analyzed by computing coefficient of determination (R2) and Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE). Comparative performance analysis with Multilayer Feed Forward Neural Network (MFNN) shows LSTM model is more competent in prediction of channel quality. © 2024 IEEE.

This study introduces a new single input multiple output (SIMO) filter that employs voltage conveyor as an active element. The proposed filter utilises four voltage conveyors in which one is used at the input side and other three voltage conveyors are used as multiple outputs to produce low pass filter (LPF) response, Band pass filter (BPF) response and High pass filter (HPF) response simultaneously. Other than voltage Conveyor it utilises eight passive components out of which three are capacitors and rest are the resistors. The proposed filter has a simple structure and the filter's effectiveness and performance is verified using LTSpice simulations using 0.35μm standard CMOS technology and ±1.65V as Power supply. © 2023 IEEE.

The paper entails creating a low-power current reference circuit that uses a Beta Multiplier circuit to provide a constant PTAT(proportional to absolute temperature) current of 1nA. The circuit runs in the weak inversion area and lacks a resistor, instead employing three parallel PMOS with optimized W/L values. Monte Carlo analysis is used to investigate the performance of the circuit in relation to process parameters and threshold voltage. To predict the current value, a machine learning model utilizing Support Vector Regressor (SVR) is created, and its accuracy is measured by comparing the predicted values to the actual values using mean squared error. The goal of our work is to design an efficient low-power circuit that can be used in a variety of analog and mixed-mode systems. © 2023 IEEE.

A low-power CMOS Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) becomes the subject of scrutiny, as LTspice simulations intertwine with machine learning finesse. This paper delves into the analysis of a low-power CMOS Voltage Controlled Oscillator (VCO) through LTspice simulations and machine learning techniques. Focusing on the VCO's behaviour under low-power conditions, a Linear Regression based machine learning model has been automated to accurately predict VCO's output frequency corresponding to process parameter variations of the constituent transistors. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper proposes an improved model of a newly emerged biologically motivated meta-heuristic Artificial Rabbits Optimization (ARO) algorithm. The ARO algorithm is hybridized with Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm to enhance the local exploitation strategy of standard ARO. The proposed ARPSO algorithm is used to optimize the coefficients of Finite Impulse Response (FIR) filter of order 20 for low-pass (LP) and high-pass (HP) design. The proposed filters are then compared with few recently reported algorithms to show better performance parameter values. Finally, both the LP and HP design of FIR filters are implemented in the FPGA platform in Spartan 6 board with Xilinx ISE Design suite 14.7. The FPGA model is also compared with some recent algorithms to verify its robustness. © 2024 IEEE.

In the rapidly advancing field of AI-assisted medical diagnosis, the generation of medical reports for Chest X-rays (CXR) has significantly improved with the increased availability of radiographs and their corresponding reports. However, these reports often contain complex medical terminology, making them difficult for patients and non-healthcare professionals to understand. In this study, we introduce a strategy called Chained Prompting for Improved Readability of Medical Reports (CPIR-MR), which translates original medical reports into more comprehensible language. Our primary contribution is the creation of a new extension to the IU X-Ray dataset, providing Simplified Medical Reports (SMRs) generated by CPIR-MR. Additionally, we demonstrate that standard methodologies can effectively produce these simplified reports by proposing a multi-modal text decoder (MTD) that combines BLIP with a classification network to generate simplified medical explanations (SMEs) when fine-tuned on SMRs. This paper describes the design of a competent cascaded filter for image denoising using Arithmetic optimization Algorithm (AOA). Though several conventional spatial domain filters are used individually to perform denoising, but fails to give satisfactory results for various types of available noises like Gaussian, Salt & Pepper, and Speckle. Thus, cascading multiple spatial filters by means of AOA algorithm shows upgraded outcome compared to existing methods. The comparative study is carried out among popular spatial filters and the proposed cascaded filter through objective and subjective analysis. The quality measurement parameters like IQI, PSNR, and SSIM shows significant improvement for various noises and upgraded visual attributes in reconstructed image. Furthermore, the comparative graphical investigation of quality parameters for different denoising methods against various noise variance levels shows it is well designed to resist low- and high-density noises. Thus, it is quite apparent that our proposed design provides an optimal solution compared to conventional denoising methods. © 2024 IEEE.

In this communication, a new compact UWB dual port multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) antenna is presented for wireless application. The design utilizes the property of dielectric resonator to achieve a bandwidth that ranges from 3.1 GHz to 18.5 GHz. The design has a compact size of 19 × 30 × 0.8 mm3. It consists of two rectangular shape monopole antenna elements with rectangular dielectric resonators sharing a similar ground plane. On the ground plane, a modified Hilbert curve with a meander line parasitic element was introduced to improve isolation between radiating elements which reduces mutual coupling issues. A band notch is achieved at WLAN band (5.09–5.8 GHz) by etching a pair of L-shape slots on each radiator. The gain of the antenna drops significantly at the centre of the notch band which indicates good interference suppression. Results show that the designed antenna provides a wide impedance bandwidth (below −10 dB) throughout the operating band of 3.1–18.5 GHz (142.6%). The antenna also produces nearly −20 dB isolation for the entire operating band. Results show that the simulated characteristics are in good agreement with the measured counterpart. © 2022, Electromagnetics Academy. All rights reserved.
