The goal of this study is to build a self-driving robot that can effectively navigate mazes by utilizing sophisticated computer vision algorithms with ROS2. Fusion 360 is used to create the robot model, and ROS2 launch files are used to initialize the sensor and control nodes. Attaining optimal path planning and accurate localization are the main objectives. The combination of novel motion planning based on the orientation of the robot with graph search algorithms like DFS, A∗, and Dijkstra's leads to effective maze discovery and traversal. Thorough testing shows that the system can successfully navigate unfamiliar maze configurations, demonstrating the dependability of ROS2 and modern robotics techniques. By completing this study, a foundation for future advancements in perception and planning to manage more complex settings is laid. © 2024 IEEE.

Today, we find almost everybody using internet and with increase in demand of computer networking, Hackers are taking advantage of this situation and trying to intrude into the networks and disturb the networks thus by injecting malwares into it. It is very important to identify whether the network is free from malware or not in order to ensure secrecy of valuable data. Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) are some of the most prominent technologies for administrating and looking after security issues in the network. With rapidly changing network traffic data, one classifier is not enough to fend off modern network intruders. In this work, ensemble classifiers are used to classify data based on binary and multiclass. We took this as a major challenge to increase accuracy rates of detection for individual attack types and all types of attacks. This allows us to identify attacks and specific attack categories. We've chosen to contrast other works by opting for Artificial Networks as well. Python being the most versatile programming language in recent times, we chose IDS-ML an open source code repository in order to develop IDS from public network traffic records that can protect modern networks with high efficiency and accuracy. © 2024 IEEE.

Paralysis, which is defined as the loss of muscle function in certain body parts, presents unique issues in healthcare, necessitating technological and medicinal advances to improve patients' quality of life. This research proposes a novel solution a low-cost, user-friendly gadget that includes basic nursing care and a health monitoring system to alleviate the communication difficulties that paralysis patients encounter. The objective of our method is to enable patients to effectively communicate messages or requirements despite their physical constraints. Our device enables paralysis sufferers to express messages using basic motion, resulting in increased communication and interaction with caretakers. This unique device can be effortlessly integrated into their clothing or worn on their finger, providing a delicate but effective communication aid. Moreover, our smart IoT-based technology extends beyond communication to include real-time health monitoring capabilities. The system continuously collects health data by integrating multiple sensors and gadgets, providing real-time insights into vital signs and movement patterns. This real-time health information enables healthcare providers to provide prompt treatments and individualized care, hence improving the overall well-being of paralyzed patients. The proposed strategy represents a big step forward in the comprehensive treatment of paralysis patients, promoting improved communication and proactive healthcare management. © 2024 IEEE.

Bangladesh's economy depends heavily on agriculture, yet farmers confront a significant obstacle in choosing the best crop which affects production and regrettably causes financial hardships, migration, and suicides. Because climate and ingredients of soil are changing continuously. This paper proposes a system that utilizes several types of soil and environmental characteristics to determine the ideal crop for a particular land. Via Internet of Things (IoT) devices, environmental characteristics that include temperature and humidity, as well as soil parameter that is pH will be immediately retrieved from the land, enabling instantaneous data gathering. Using a variety of algorithms, the suggested approach Gaussian Naive Bayes which we got 99.55% validation accuracy, determines which crop would be best for cultivation. Following the integration of the model into an intuitive interface, farmers are provided with a useful tool to improve decision-making and eventually support Bangladeshi agriculture's sustainability. The most efficient and accurate method is selected to build a machine-learning model after undergoing extensive testing on several different algorithms. In order to provide farmers with exact recommendations for choosing the most suited crop for cultivation which is integrated into an easy-to-use interface. © 2024 IEEE.

A dielectric separator separates the three vanadium dioxide (VO2) multiple-slit square ring resonators from the copper ground plane, enabling the construction of a dynamically tunable ultra-wideband terahertz (THz) ideal absorber. Slit length, VO2 thickness, and resonator width were all system-atically optimized, and the result was an absorber with over 90% average absorptance over a remarkably large frequency bandwidth of 3.25 THz under normal incidence. Additionally, a consistent 95% absorption efficiency is achieved across a 2.65 THz bandwidth, demonstrating exceptional wide-angle absorption and polarization insensitivity. Beyond earlier THz absorber demonstrations, the VO2 's dynamic tunability enables continuous adjustment of the absorption intensity from 4% up to 100% by altering its conductivity. Applications for such an efficient dynamically controlled broadband absorber are diverse and include THz modulators, switches, sensors, and other optical devices. The suggested geometric tuning techniques can aid in the development of flexible ultra-wideband VO2 metamaterial absorbers for upcoming broadband terahertz technology. © 2024 IEEE.

In this study,the effect of presentation rates on pupil dilation is investigated for target recognition in the Rapid Serial Visual Presentation(RSVP)*** this experiment,the RSVP paradigm with five different presentation rates,including 50,80,100,150,and 200 ms,is *** pupillometry data of 15 subjects are collected and *** pupillometry results reveal that the peak and average amplitudes for pupil size and velocity at the 80-ms presentation rate are considerably higher than those at other presentation *** average amplitude of pupil acceleration at the 80-ms presentation rate is significantly higher than those at the other presentation *** latencies under 50-and 80-ms presentation rates are considerably lower than those of 100-,150-,and 200-ms presentation ***,no considerable differences are observed in the peak,average amplitude,and latency of pupil size,pupil velocity,and acceleration under 100-,150-,and 200-ms presentation *** results reveal that with the increase in the presentation rate,pupil dilation first increases,then decreases,and later reaches *** 80-ms presentation rate results in the largest point of pupil *** correlation is observed between pupil dilation and recognition accuracy under the five presentation rates.

Snow accumulation on solar panels reduces their performance in energy generation regions. Hence certain image processing methods were developed for segmenting snow from the normal areas of solar panels. Graph Cut and Flood Fill are the popular semi-automatic method used for this application where it relies on detecting an efficient region for marking the segmentation process. Similarly, the manual intervention fails to provide consistent results in such methods. Therefore, a customized graph cut methodology is proposed in this work by combining super pixel-based feature extraction and k-means clustering. At first, the input images are preprocessed by dividing the pixels to form super pixels as a group to reduce the computational complexity without losing the meaningful information. Features like intensity, edge density, texture, and color are extracted from these super pixel groups for segmenting the snow-covered regions on a solar panel. Further, the extracted features are normalized by a k-means clustering algorithm for identifying the highest intensity regions to observe the snow-covered regions. A graph cut-based segmentation technique is applied at the end to ensure the precise boundary delineation. The work is also incorporated with several post-processing techniques for improving the segmentation mask quality. This proposed method is evaluated against Graph cut and flood fill and satisfied with an average dice similarity coefficient of 93.09% and 95.11%. © 2025 IEEE.

In permissioned blockchain networks,the Proof of Authority(PoA)consensus,which uses the election of authorized nodes to validate transactions and blocks,has beenwidely advocated thanks to its high transaction throughput and fault ***,PoA suffers from the drawback of centralization dominated by a limited number of authorized nodes and the lack of anonymity due to the round-robin block proposal *** a result,traditional PoA is vulnerable to a single point of failure that compromises the security of the blockchain *** address these issues,we propose a novel decentralized reputation management mechanism for permissioned blockchain networks to enhance security,promote liveness,and mitigate centralization while retaining the same throughput as traditional *** paper aims to design an off-chain reputation evaluation and an on-chain reputation-aided ***,we evaluate the nodes’reputation in the context of the blockchain networks and make the reputation globally verifiable through smart ***,building upon traditional PoA,we propose a reputation-aided PoA(rPoA)consensus to enhance securitywithout sacrificing *** particular,rPoA can incentivize nodes to autonomously form committees based on reputation authority,which prevents block generation from being tracked through the randomness of reputation ***,we develop a reputation-aided fork-choice rule for rPoA to promote the network’s ***,experimental results show that the proposed rPoA achieves higher security performance while retaining transaction throughput compared to traditional PoA.

The sensitive data stored in the public cloud by privileged users,such as corporate companies and government agencies are highly vulnerable in the hands of cloud providers and *** proposed Virtual Cloud Storage Archi-tecture is primarily concerned with data integrity and conﬁdentiality,as well as *** provide conﬁdentiality and availability,theﬁle to be stored in cloud storage should be encrypted using an auto-generated key and then encoded into distinct *** the encoded chunks ensured theﬁle integrity,and a newly proposed Circular Shift Chunk Allocation technique was used to determine the order of chunk ***ﬁle could be retrieved by performing the opera-tions in *** the regenerating code,the model could regenerate the missing and corrupted chunks from the *** proposed architecture adds an extra layer of security while maintaining a reasonable response time and sto-rage *** results analysis show that the proposed model has been tested with storage space and response time for storage and *** VCSA model consumes 1.5x(150%)storage *** was found that total storage required for the VCSA model is very low when compared with 2x Replication and completely satisﬁes the CIA *** response time VCSA model was tested with different sizedﬁles starting from 2 to 16 *** response time for storing and retrieving a 2 MBﬁle is 4.96 and 3.77 s respectively,and for a 16 MBﬁle,the response times are 11.06 s for storage and 5.6 s for retrieval.

Road traffic has been an open challenge in a highly-populated area in the world. India is one of them where traffic management is a crucial problem to solve. Road traffic congestion, traffic rule violation, road accidents are the outcome of limitless traffic. The paper attempts to highlight the Real-Time Traffic Control System (RTTCS) monitoring vehicles, passengers, detecting objects on the road, and license plate detection. This paper proposes an RTTCS based on Machine Learning (ML) model, which takes traffic streaming as an input, monitors the traffic by detecting objects, finds the count of the objects per class, detects license plates and recognizes license plate characters using Easy-OCR. For depth analysis, the RTTCS analysis is performed for a particular location at various timestamps for easy traffic monitoring. The proposed system uses the you Only Look once version-4 (YOLOv4) for object detection (e.g., bicycle, motorbike, cars). The transfer learning concept uses pre-trained convolutional weights to optimize the model. © 2024 IEEE.
