In recent years,wearable devices-based Human Activity Recognition(HAR)models have received significant *** developed HAR models use hand-crafted features to recognize human activities,leading to the extraction of basic *** images captured by wearable sensors contain advanced features,allowing them to be analyzed by deep learning algorithms to enhance the detection and recognition of human *** lighting and limited sensor capabilities can impact data quality,making the recognition of human actions a challenging *** unimodal-based HAR approaches are not suitable in a real-time ***,an updated HAR model is developed using multiple types of data and an advanced deep-learning ***,the required signals and sensor data are accumulated from the standard *** these signals,the wave features are *** the extracted wave features and sensor data are given as the input to recognize the human *** Adaptive Hybrid Deep Attentive Network(AHDAN)is developed by incorporating a“1D Convolutional Neural Network(1DCNN)”with a“Gated Recurrent Unit(GRU)”for the human activity recognition ***,the Enhanced Archerfish Hunting Optimizer(EAHO)is suggested to fine-tune the network parameters for enhancing the recognition *** experimental evaluation is performed on various deep learning networks and heuristic algorithms to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed HAR *** EAHO-based HAR model outperforms traditional deep learning networks with an accuracy of 95.36,95.25 for recall,95.48 for specificity,and 95.47 for precision,*** result proved that the developed model is effective in recognizing human action by taking less ***,it reduces the computation complexity and overfitting issue through using an optimization approach.

This paper presents a comparative analysis of DNN-models, including TensorFlow Lite, SSD-MobileNet, Mask R-CNN and YOLOv8, for the high-precision detection and classification of small objects in aerial search and rescue scenarios. The study features a proprietary dataset collected through drone flights over an extended period. The model performance was evaluated on compact computing platforms like Jetson Nano and Raspberry Pi, emphasizing detection accuracy and computational efficiency. Results reveal trade-offs between model complexity and real-time processing capabilities. The findings guide the selection of on-board computer models, thereby enhancing drone capabilities in critical operations © 2024 IEEE.

A video data hiding technique based on pixel sequence, weight interpolation and quorum function

The development of multimedia technology has increased the challenge in protecting the information. This paper proposes an effective method for data hiding in videos based on the Pixel Sequence (PS), weight interpolation to protect the secret data from intruders. Initially, the noise is removed from the video with the help of median filter and Moving Objects (MO) inside the frames having different backgrounds are accurately detected using Fast Region-based Convolution Neural Network (FR-CNN). Next, the MO and Non Moving Object (NMO) pixel from each frame are mapped with the adjacent frames to determine the weights applying PS. Then, the cover video is up-scaled with interpolated pixels based on weights of MO and NMO. Finally, the secret data are hidden inside the both interpolated and non-interpolated pixels elevate Embedding Capacity (EC). In interpolated pixels, both Most Significant Bit (MSB) and Least Significant Bit (LSB) of each frames based on their weight are utilized to hide data. Whereas, in non-interpolated pixels, Quorum Function (QF) is used to embed data. Two different data embedding techniques are adopted in each frame to enhance the security. The performance evaluation of the proposed method out-performs the existing methods in terms of precision and recall. The global incidence of Alzheimer's Disease(AD)is on a swift *** Electroencephalogram(EEG)signals is an effective tool for the identification of AD and its initial Mild Cognitive Impairment(MCI)stage using machine learning *** of AD using EEG involves multi-channel ***,the use of multiple channels may impact the classification performance due to data redundancy and *** this work,a hybrid EEG channel selection is proposed using a combination of Reptile Search Algorithm and Snake Optimizer(RSO)for AD and MCI detection based on decomposition *** Mode Decomposition(EMD),Low-Complexity Orthogonal Wavelet Filter Banks(LCOWFB),Variational Mode Decomposition,and discrete-wavelet transform decomposition techniques have been employed for subbands-based EEG *** extracted thirty-four features from each subband of EEG ***,a hybrid RSO optimizer is compared with five individual metaheuristic algorithms for effective channel *** effectiveness of this model is assessed by two publicly accessible AD EEG *** accuracy of 99.22% was achieved for binary classification from RSO with EMD using 4(out of 16)EEG ***,the RSO with LCOWFBs obtained 89.68%the average accuracy for three-class classification using 7(out of 19)*** performance reveals that RSO performs better than individual Metaheuristic algorithms with 60%fewer channels and improved accuracy of 4%than existing AD detection techniques.

A brain tumor is a lethal neurological disease that affects the average performance of the brain and can be *** India,around 15 million cases are diagnosed *** mitigate the seriousness of the tumor it is essential to diagnose at the ***,the manual evaluation process utilizing Magnetic Resonance Imaging(MRI)causes a few worries,remarkably inefficient and inaccurate brain tumor ***,the examination process of brain tumors is intricate as they display high unbalance in nature like shape,size,appearance,and ***,a precise and expeditious prognosis of brain tumors is essential for implementing the of an implicit *** computer models adapted to diagnose the tumor,but the accuracy of the model needs to be *** all the above mentioned things,this work aims to identify the best classification system by considering the prediction accuracy out of Alex-Net,ResNet 50,and Inception *** augmentation is performed on the database and fed into the three convolutions neural network(CNN)models.A comparison line is drawn between the three models based on accuracy and *** accuracy of 96.2%is obtained for AlexNet with augmentation and performed better than ResNet 50 and Inception V3 for the 120th *** the suggested model with higher accuracy,it is highly reliable if brain tumors are diagnosed with available datasets.

Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious health issue that kills a lot of people these days. TB is completely curable if it is discovered early enough. One way of diagnosing tuberculosis (TB) early on is to undergo a chest X-ray (CXR), which can show if a person has active TB. Chest x-ray images (CXR) can be analyzed to diagnose the deadly TB disease more accurately owing to deep learning (DL), a significant area of artificial intelligence. To automate tuberculosis (TB) identification, this study used Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), a form of deep learning models designed specifically for image processing. This architecture needs a lot of datasets to learn features, which makes the learning process take longer. Transfer Learning (TL), which uses a large number of pre-trained models to perform disease classification, is suggested as a solution to this issue. In this work, four different CNN architecturesEfficientNetB0, AlexNet, GoogleNet, and Xception-are trained and evaluated. The results demonstrated that GoogleNet could diagnose tuberculosis with an astounding 97% accuracy, even after extended training periods. By comparison, AlexNet trained faster due to its simpler architecture, but having a little lower accuracy of 96%. © 2024 IEEE.

The increase of fraudsters and fraud attacks on the communication network plays a major role in the loss of revenue, network abuse, and degradation of services. Communication and cloud networks belong to separate companies and consist of handover points from one network to another. The scope is to bring the communication and cloud networks closer and understand network traffic profiles using Software-Defined Networking (SDN) concept. The SDN controller will serve to route the extracted tapped data to a central server instead of making use of the live network. To apply policies to the traffic and identify which user traffic is a fraud case, and further to send a block signal to the network charging element on the communication network. The flow process will be automated, and to protect the network from fraud attacks, using the SDN controller in a seamless approach and maintaining the performance of the network. The article defines the impact of fraud and fraud case detection. At which Smart Grid leverages intelligent communication technologies to modernize the electric infrastructure and raises new vectors for cyber risks and energy frauds. While services on the network require a secure platform that serves to block fraudster. The main purpose is to achieve a higher energy/service fraud detection rate than similar work in the field, to provide a solution that integrates within the traditional network, and further blocks the fraud within the network. © 2025 the Author(s).

Blockchain has been recognized as a secure technology with which unique and tamper-proof certificates can be issued. Today the secure and immutable storage of vital records, such as birth certificates, is of paramount importance. Traditional systems for recording and managing such documents are complex, tedious, and inaccessible for many. At present, issuing a certificate involves three stakeholders;Parents, Hospitals, and Registrars. The Parents must visit the Registrar and report the birth after which the Registrar verifies the birth, which is a time-intensive process for the Registrar. To address these challenges, we present a web application that leverages blockchain technology to record and manage birth certificates. By utilizing a decentralized and distributed ledger, our application improves accessibility, transparency, and increased security. This paper outlines the design, implementation, and evaluation of our birth certificate recording system, highlighting its benefits for hospitals, registrars, and individuals. Furthermore, limitations and the future work of this technology are discussed. © 2024 IEEE.

This study proposes the design and analysis of an eight-way power divider for unequal division at 5.3 GHz for C-band frequency. Many transmission line pieces make up the current power divider. These transmission lines were printed on a substrate material (RT/duroid 5880, 1.6 mm thick, permittivity 2.2, and loss tangent 0.0002). The eight-way power divider’s unequal amplitudes are constructed using Taylor’s 1-parameter method to achieve the side projection levels –17 dB down as from the main beam. The proposed power divider consists of using two transmission lines with a 3/4 frequency connected to branched microstriplines, providing excellent isolation and matching between the power divider’s two output ports. This power divider is composed of three stages. A 1:2 power divider is used in the first stage, a 1:4 power divider is used in the second stage, and a 1:8 power divider is used in the third stage. According to the simulation results, 1:2 delivers half of the input power, 1:4 produces one-fourth of the power, and 1:8 delivers one-eighth of the input power. All of these assessments were done with the advanced design system (ADS) simulation program. According to both simulated and measured data, the return loss exceeds –35 dB, and the isolation across the output terminals exceeds –40 dB. The proposed circuit operates effectively at C-band frequencies in terms of return loss and isolation (4 GHz and 8 GHz). © 2025 by Begell House, Inc.

Agriculture plays a major role in developing countries like India, however the food security still remains a vital issue. Most of the crops get wasted due to lack of storage facility, transportation, and plant diseases. More than 15% of the crops get wasted in India due to diseases and hence it has become one of the major concern to be resolved. There is a need of automatic system that can identify these diseases and help farmers to take appropriate steps to get rid of crop loss. Farmers have followed the conventional method of identifying the plant disease with their naked eyes, and it not possible for all the farmers to identify these diseases the same way. With the advance in Artificial Intelligence, there is a need to incorporate the facilities of the computer vision in the field of agriculture. Deep Learning rich libraries and user as well as developer friendly environment to work with, all these qualities make Deep Learning as the favorable method to get started with this problem. In this paper we have used Deep Learning because of the advantages it offers to work with images especially in image classification to get improvised results. The methodology includes taking leaves of infected crops and label them as per the disease pattern. The images of infected leaves are processed pixel based operations are applied to improve the information from the image. As a next step feature extraction is done followed by image segmentation and at the last classification of crop diseases based on the patterns extracted from the diseased leaves. The CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) is used for the classification of diseases, for the demonstration purpose the public dataset is used consisting of around 87 K images (RGB type images) including healthy as well as diseased leaves. © 2021
