Wi-Fi Sensor advert Hoc Networks (WSANs) are susceptible to facts tampering attacks due to the big scale and open verbal exchange between specific nodes. An aggregator node collects records from multiple sensor nodes in a WSAN, and this information can be tampered or manipulated if the aggregator isn't secured efficiently. On this paper, we suggest a secure information aggregation protocol the usage of homomorphism encryption (HE) for WSANs. The proposed protocol utilizes the additive homomorphism homes of HEs to soundly combination the sensor facts in an allotted fashion without losing confidentiality. The benefits of the proposed protocol encompass the capacity to defend against records tampering, confidentiality, and scalability to large wide variety of nodes. The capability applications of this protocol range from relaxed facts series in crisis relief operations, to massive data analytics in net of factors (IoT). We additionally speak the capacity demanding situations associated with implementing the proposed protocol. ©2024 IEEE.

The tremendous growth of internet technology has drastically improved the large amount of connected devices. To secure network infrastructure from the damage that cyberattacks might cause, this has made an enormous attack surface that needs the deployment of practical and effective counter measures. In the contemporary era of active network transmission and throughput, Intrusion Detection System (IDS) plays a vital role in ensuring secure network resource and data from outside invasion. In recent times, IDS becomes an essential tool to enhance the efficiency and flexibility for unpredictable and unexpected invasions of the network. Deep learning (DL) is a well-known and essential method to resolve challenges and could learn rich features of massive information. Therefore, the study focuses on the design and development of the Cauchy Grasshopper Optimization Algorithm with Deep Learning for Cloud Enabled IDS (CGOA-DLCIDS) technique. The presented CGOA-DLCIDS method aims to recognize the presence of intrusions in the cloud platform. To achieve this, the CGOA-DLCIDS technique performs feature subset election by CGOA which reduces the feature subset and enhances the intrusion detection rate. Next, the CGOA-DLCIDS technique employs attention based long short-term memory (ALSTM) module for automated and accurate intrusion detection and classification. The simulations analysis of the CGOA-DLCIDS method on benchmark dataset highlighted the increasing results compared to recent IDS approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

Augmented and Virtual Reality plays an important role in the field of medical health science. According to the study of past decades, Human computer interaction helps the patients to recover from their issues very quickly. Virtual Reality is used in several fields nowadays and the study of this paper is in the field of clinical sector. The purpose of using Virtual Reality concepts on the patients is that it helps to change the functioning of the brain and also change the behavior, mood, and perception of the person. For example phobias, and addicted person, when person is in an abnormal situation and their mind is not working properly at that time they need a virtual environment. There is a requirement to show the virtual videos to the patients according to their problems. So to analyze the problem of the patients, use virtual reality concept to check the level of the stress, anxiety, and phobias. © 2022 IEEE.

The popularity of the e-commerce system has increased, especially under the COVID scenario. Consumer product reviews from the past have had a significant impact on influencing consumers' purchasing decisions. Fake reviews—those written by humans and computers that engage in dishonest behavior—are consequently generated to increase product sales. The fake reviews hurt consumers and are dishonest. The goal of this research is to examine and evaluate the performance of various methods for identifying fake reviews. The well-known and widely-used Amazon Review Data (2018) dataset was used for this research. The first 10 product categories on *** with favorable feedback will be provided in the data section. After that, perform fundamental data preparation procedures such as special character trimming, bag of words, TF-IDF, etc. The models are trained to create a dataset for detecting fake reviews. This research compares the performance of four different models: GPT-2, NBSVM, BiLSTM, and RoBERTa. The hyperparameters of the models are also tuned to find the optimal values. The research concludes that the RoBERTa model performs the best overall, with an accuracy of 97%. GPT-2 has an overall accuracy of 82%, NBSVM has an overall accuracy of 95%, and BiLSTM has an overall accuracy of 92%. The research also calculates the Area Under the Curve (AUC) for each model and finds that RoBERTa has an AUC of 0.9976, NBSVM has an AUC of 0.9888, BiLSTM has an AUC of 0.9753, and GPT-2 has an AUC of 0.9226. It can be observed that the RoBERTa model has the highest AUC value, which is close to 1. Therefore, it can be concluded that this model provides the most accurate prediction for detecting fake reviews, which is the main focus of this research. © 2023, Ital Publication. Vehicular networks are more and more popular all over the world owing to their provision of safer and smarter traffic. In intelligent traffic, the information received by vehicles needs to be fresh because of the importance for traffic safety and passenger experience. In this paper, we construct the system where the vehicles acquire information from the roadside units (RSUs) connected with storage servers. The age of information (AoI) is adopted to quantify the freshness of the information. In order to minimize the total AoI of the system, we propose a power management scheme to allocate the power of RSUs. The multi-agent twin delayed deep deterministic policy gradient (MATD3) is deployed to solve the problem. The simulation results show that the proposed approach has superior performance over the deep deterministic policy gradient (DDPG) and greedy algorithms. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents the simulation of a proportional integral derivative control system that is used to control the electric drive system of a formula student hybrid vehicle consisting of a permanent magnet DC motor coupled with the internal combustion engine through a chain drive in a Parallel Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV)-type drive configuration. With the least amount of delay or overshoot and by regulating the voltage input to the electric vehicle’s motor, the PID algorithm provides the actual speed to the target speed. Further, the model was used to tune the proportional integral derivative controller. Some essential system parameters were predetermined, while others were idealized in models. It was validated and assessed that the MATLAB/Simulink model was stable. The precise values of proportional, integral, and derivative based on the transfer function-based tuner were then determined using it. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2024.

To assess the wind power potential of a specific wind site, a suitable distribution function that best suits the wind data needs to be known. In this study, we employ four probability density functions (PDFs), namely Weibull, Rayleigh, Log-Normal, and Gamma, on wind speed data obtained from two coastal cities in Pakistan, Gwadar and Karachi, to check which one is the best suited. Cities along the coastline of Pakistan offer greater wind speeds and, thus, greater wind power potential. The maximum likelihood technique is used to estimate the parameters of the density distributions. Three statistical measures—Root Mean Squared Error (RMSE), Mean Absolute Error (MAE), and Coefficient of Determination (R2)—are used to assess the goodness of fit for every distribution. These measures give a complete picture of every distribution's correctness in terms of reflecting the recorded wind speed patterns. Numerical results reveal that the Weibull distribution fits well with the wind speeds of the two coastal cities compared to the other three probability distributions, providing insightful analysis for the evaluation of wind resources and possible local energy generation. The MATLAB environment is used to compare the distributions and validate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology. ©2024 IEEE.

Relay-assisted connectivity control for underwater high-pace verbal exchange networks improves verbal exchange velocity and reliability by connecting Wi-Fi networks to relays. By allowing communication among unique networks, it enables higher insurance, higher air interface, higher interference immunity, and higher network resilience. With underwater excessive pace verbal exchange networks, relays are used to ensure reliable operation to increase the networks' transmission range. Such relay-assisted verbal exchange networks can offer higher records costs than a single factor-to-factor link should provide. They can help to reduce the effect of interference that affects the speed of conversation over lengthy distances. This generation offers some benefits: extended latency, stepped forward bandwidth usage, accelerated community topology, improved fault tolerance and robustness, better statistics synchronization, and quicker handover in multi-radio networks. Additionally, with the help of relay-assisted verbal exchange networks, such networks' deployment, and operation costs can be decreased substantially. © 2023 IEEE.

Aims and Background: In order to keep up with the rapid development of technology, cities must enhance their offerings in the areas of public security, medical care, transportation, and citizen well-being. Healthcare systems rely heavily on patient care. Patients' life and the services offered by doctors, nurses, clinicians, pharmaceutical companies, and governments stand to benefit from the implementation of Healthcare IoT. There has been a change in the medical industry, marked by the widespread adoption of wireless healthcare-monitoring-systems (HMS) in hospitals. Methodology: However, the Internet-of-Things (IoT) concept frequently ignores security-privacy for linked things. Security and privacy protections must be implemented systematically throughout the entire healthcare and remote health monitoring system, from the creation of equipment to their interconnection, communication, storage, and eventual destruction. This research investigates the risks associated with using smart health devices and provides recommendations for addressing those risks. The present security and privacy of IoT devices in healthcare systems, as well as the difficulties in adopting security frameworks, are discussed, and recommendations for addressing these issues are offered. Results: This study also contributes in two ways to the ongoing effort to investigate securityprivacy concerns in the circumstance of smart cities for healthcare purposes. Conclusion: Moreover, this article provides a summary of the many Internet of Things applications and the cyber threats they face. On the other hand, thorough assessments of methods to reduce cyber threats to 60% are presented. © 2025 Bentham Science Publishers.
