Beamforming is now a basic technique in wireless communication to improve signal quality and reduce interference. This study investigates the use of deep learning-enhanced beamforming to improve the quality of transmissions in heterogeneous wireless networks. Using a deep convolutional neural network (CNN), the suggested approach aims to predict the ideal weight vectors for antenna arrays, thereby overcoming the challenges of different network circumstances and interference kinds. The efficiency of the suggested approach in achieving higher signal-to-simulation results shows the interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) over conventional beamforming methods. © 2024 IEEE.

We have realized efficient photopatterning and high-quality ZrO_(2)films through combustion synthesis and manufactured resistive random access memory(RRAM)devices with excellent switching stability at low temperatures(250℃)using these *** synthesis reduces the energy required for oxide conversion,thus accelerating the decomposition of organic ligands in the UV-exposed area,and promoting the formation of metal-oxygen networks,contributing to *** analysis confirmed a reduction in the conversion temperature of combustion precursors,and the prepared combustion ZrO_(2)films exhibited a high proportion of metal-oxygen bonding that constitutes the oxide lattice,along with an amorphous ***,the synergistic effect of combustion synthesis and UV/O_(3)-assisted photochemical activation resulted in patterned ZrO_(2)films forming even more complete metal-oxygen *** devices fabricated with patterned ZrO_(2)films using combustion synthesis exhibited excellent switching characteristics,including a narrow resistance distribution,endurance of 103 cycles,and retention for 105 s at 85℃,despite low-temperature *** synthesis not only enables the formation of high-quality metal oxide films with low external energy but also facilitates improved photopatterning.

Due to power attenuation, improving transmission efficiency in the radio-frequency (RF) band remains a significant challenge, which hinders advancements in various fields of the Internet of Things (IoT), such as wireless power transfer (WPT) and wireless communication. Array design and retro-directive beamforming (RD-BF) techniques offer simple and effective ways to enhance transmission efficiency. However, when the target is an array or in the near field, the RD-BF system (RD-BFS) cannot radiate more energy to the target due to phase irregularities in the target region, resulting in challenges in achieving higher efficiency. To address this issue, we propose the RF-based resonant beam system (RF-RBS), which adaptively optimizes phase and power distribution between transmitting and receiving arrays by leveraging the resonance mechanism to achieve higher transmission efficiency. We analyze the system structure and develop an analytical model to evaluate power flow and resonance establishment. Numerical analysis demonstrates that the proposed RF-RBS achieves self-alignment without beam control and provides higher transmission efficiency compared to RD-BFS, with improvements of up to 16%. This self-alignment capability allows the system to effectively transfer power and information across varying distances and offsets. The numerical results indicate the capability to transmit watt-level power and achieve 21 bps/Hz of downlink spectral efficiency in indoor settings, highlighting the advantages of RF-RBS in information and power transfer for mobile applications. © 2025 IEEE.

This work presents an essential module for the Transfer Learning approach's classification of melanoma skin lesions. Melanoma, a highly lethal form of skin cancer, poses a significant health threat globally. Image analysis plays a crucial role in enhancing the accuracy of malignant skin lesion classification. Although neural networks trained on extensive datasets have emerged as the latest solution, their scalability remains a challenge. This study proposes an efficient method for classifying skin lesions utilizing labelled data from open sources, leveraging EfficientNet as the foundational model to robustly capture discriminative features from diverse visual perspectives. Validation of the proposed algorithms relies on the classifier's capacity to distinguish between classes is measured by the Area Under the Receiver Operating Characteristic (AUC-ROC) curve. AUC-ROC score greater than zero denotes better classification performance. Our proposed model achieves an impressive score of 98.65%. In contrast to existing approaches, our method demonstrates swift and accurate identification and segmentation of melanoma skin lesions, showcasing its efficacy in advancing the field of skin lesion classification. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag GmbH Germany, part of Springer Nature 2024.

The progress in technology has provided opportunities for innovative solutions to intricate challenges. One possible method is employing reinforcement learning to model flying trajectories in intricate environments. Game development is a discipline that involves intricate reasoning and dynamic interplay between the user and the game environment. By employing several gaming engines, developers are now able to replicate real-life situations through the implementation of diverse machine learning methods. Aircraft simulation in game creation using reinforcement learning involves creating a visual depiction of real-life settings where aircraft may navigate complex environments without direct input from a human user. Currently, reinforcement learning is not widely applied in game development, particularly in simulation-based path finding techniques. This algorithm approaches possess the efficacy and capacity to generate sophisticated neural networks capable of directing an agent to do certain tasks. The aim of this project is to create aircraft simulations for game development by utilizing reinforcement-learning techniques, so that it can provide a foundational idea of the usage of this algorithm in path-detection based decision-making techniques. The goal is to demonstrate the effectiveness of reinforcement learning in a real-world scenario, where the aircraft independently assesses and selects its flying trajectory. The system will undergo testing in three distinct phases, involving the utilization of Blender3D, Unity 3D, and Anaconda prompts. The results will then be compared using TensorFlow. Several training sessions will be conducted in various environments using the Anaconda environment to optimize the outcomes. In the latter stages of development, a dynamic user interface will be implemented to enhance the user's experience. The convergence of flying objects, Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (MANETs), and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) has been made feasible by the widespread proliferation of wireless communication technology. This study delves into the historical development and significant achievements of WSNs and MANETs, with a focus on the incorporation of drones and UAVs to enhance network capabilities. Our main goals involve conducting thorough assessments of communication protocols, routing algorithms, and network architectures in the presence of flying objects. Our particular emphasis is on maximizing energy efficiency. Examining the dynamics of flying objects in WSNs and MANETs, this analysis delves into the various challenges and opportunities that arise. A special emphasis is placed on the management of mobility, the optimization of energy usage, and the effectiveness of routing protocols. The study explores existing protocols such as LEACH, AODV and OLSR, highlighting their benefits and challenges in flying objects. A comparative analysis evaluates adapted protocols based on metrics such as energy efficiency, latency, and reliability. © 2024 IEEE.

The development of demand-side management with controlled loads has received a lot of attention as a result of the smart grid's ongoing growth and the energy market's volatility. The large number of household loads in the residential sector has generated a great deal of interest in managing the energy consumption of individual residences. This paper suggests simulating the monitoring of several SHEMS (smart home energy management system) characteristics. We have concentrated on the functionalities of the suggested design that gather data and analyse it, and we'll apply them to common home loads like electric water heaters and charging stations for electric cars. Overall, we discovered that the modelling of the loads results in considerable financial savings for consumers when a SHEMS is put into place. Here, we'll use blockchain technology to transfer data securely. Every piece of energy data has a timestamp and a hash value. Since blockchain technology operates through code and encrypts all data, it is becoming more and more difficult for hackers to have a field day. Additionally, since all records are linked to one another via time stamps and hash codes, any change would have a significant impact on the entire database. © 2024 IEEE.

A QoS-aware routing approach for Internet of Things-enabled wireless sensor networks in smart cities

In the Internet of Things (IoT), optimizing machine performance through data analysis and improved connectivity is pivotal. Addressing the growing need for environmentally friendly IoT solutions, we focus on "green IoT." Quality in smart cities heavily relies on efficient data gathering and communication. In this study, we propose a novel software architecture tailored for data collection and communication in IoT-enabled smart applications, emphasizing sustainability from the outset. Specifically, for smart cities utilizing IoT-enabled wireless sensor networks, we introduce a Quality of Service (QoS)-aware routing strategy. In the data collection phase, we employ Chaotic Bird Swarm Optimization (CBSO) for creating IoT sensor clusters, accompanied by Improved Differential Search (IDS) to assess the reliability of individual sensor nodes, ultimately designating the most trusted node as the Cluster Head (CH). In the data transport phase, we implement lightweight signcryption to enhance the security of IoT sensor data. Furthermore, we employ an Optimal Data Routing (ODM) approach to compute the most efficient data transmission paths between source and destination nodes within the IoT network. Finally, the performance of our QoS-aware routing strategy is evaluated through network simulations using NS2 and compared against existing approaches, offering valuable insights into its effectiveness and suitability for smart city IoT applications. The main findings of the study indicate that the proposed QoS-aware routing strategy (QOS-AWARE ROUTING) consistently outperforms existing routing algorithms in terms of energy efficiency, network longevity, and latency, both in scenarios with varying sensor node density and over multiple cycles. Additionally, it demonstrates significant advantages, such as up to 90.8% less energy consumption, 66.8% longer network lifespan, and 80.1% reduced latency when compared to the benchmarked methods. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to S
