Water scarcity and Malaysia is synonym to each other. Interestingly this country receives approximately 3000mm of precipitation every year yet, it does not change fact that drought still occurs annually. Although the study of water resources management has been done aggressively, the results seems to be used only for literature purposes and rarely been apply to concur the problem. Thus, this paper aims to analyze the research pattern of water level specifically on dam which focused on the publication outcome includes the authors, country and keywords using Scopus database. From 1961 to 2022 a total of 1241 journal articles were retrieved. The finding shows that the number of publications on water level at dam increased dramatically on 2014 with 21% of annual growth rate. China is the leading country in publishing articles related to water level followed by United States and Malaysia is at 16th place. This paper presents results that help researchers not only for their literature but helps in narrow down their studies in the future.

A combination of 19F magic angle spinning (MAS) nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) and density functional theory (DFT) were used to study the ordering of F atoms in Pb2Ti4O9F2. This analysis revealed that F atoms predominantly occupy two of the six available inequivalent sites in a ratio of 73:27. DFT-based calculations explained the preference of F occupation on these sites and quantitatively reproduced the experimental occupation ratio, independent of the choice of functional. We concluded that the Pb atom's 6s2 lone pair may play a role (∼0.1 eV/f.u.) in determining the majority and minority F occupation sites with partial density of states and crystal orbital Hamiltonian population analyses applied to the DFT wave functions. The dissipation rates of the basic second-order moments are the key parameters playing a vital role in turbulence modelling and controlling turbulence energetics and spectra and turbulent fluxes of momentum and heat. In this paper, we use the results of direct numerical simulations (DNSs) to evaluate dissipation rates of the basic second-order moments and revise the energy and flux budget (EFB) turbulence closure theory for stably stratified turbulence. We delve into the theoretical implications of this approach and substantiate our closure hypotheses through DNS data. We also show why the concept of down-gradient turbulent transport becomes incomplete when applied to the vertical turbulent flux of potential temperature under stable stratification. We reveal essential feedback between the turbulent kinetic energy (TKE), the vertical turbulent flux of buoyancy, and the turbulent potential energy (TPE), which is responsible for maintaining shear-produced stably stratified turbulence for any Richardson number. © 2023, CC BY.

Introduction: Magnetoencephalography (MEG) is widely used to study neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease (AD). MEG is valuable for examining functional changes in the AD brain due to its non-invasive nature and excellent spatial and temporal resolution. AD is characterized by amyloid-beta and tau protein formation, which disrupts brain networks and leads to memory and cognitive impairments. Objective: This study aimed to evaluate power spectra analysis of brain activity using various source localization methods and machine learning (ML) classification analysis based on GLMNET and correlation thresholds to identify MEG-based features that improve differentiation between healthy controls (HC) and mild cognitive impairment (MCI). Methods: We used the BioFIND dataset, including MEG data from 324 participants (158 MCI, 166 HC). MEG data were analyzed using custom MATLAB scripts with SPM12 and OSL toolboxes. Source localization methods included Bayesian LORETA (COH), Multiple Sparse Priors (MSP), Empirical Bayesian Beamformer (EBB), exact Low-Resolution Tomography Analysis (eLORETA), and Linearly Constrained Minimum Variance (LCMV). Sensor-based analyses were also conducted. Logistic Regression with L1 penalty (GLMNET) was applied in both sensor and source spaces, with different correlation thresholds for magnetometer (MAG) and gradiometer (GRAD) signals separately. We used 20 Monte Carlo iterations with 10-fold nested cross-validation to assess classifier performance. Results: Optimal performance was achieved using the LCMV method on GRAD sensors with a 0.1 correlation threshold, resulting in 74.57% accuracy, 71.55% sensitivity, and a 73.29% F1 score. Conclusions: This study demonstrates the potential of MEG as a robust tool for distinguishing between individuals with MCI and HC. The researchers are interested to enhance the temperature characteristics of convection heat transportation investigation. The studies based on nanofluids are accomplished because these phenomena exhibit an abnormal elevation in thermal transportation. This analysis captures historical impacts on heat and momentum transfer that traditional models ignore by using the Caputo fractional derivative in to model damped shear-thermal flux in nanofluid convection. In this manuscript, the natural convection flow, as well as heat transference of nanofluids, is studied. The classical expressions are fractionalized with the help of constitutive shearing stress expression along with Fourier relation. The Caputo kernel (power-law and non-local) engenders the damping on gradients of momentum and temperature;consequently, transportation approaches are affected by the histories entirely of the previous and current time. The fractional differential equations of velocity as well as temperature are solved analytically by invoking Laplace and the finite Sine-Fourier transform method. In a particular case, the solution to the classical model is also found. Moreover, these solutions are described in respect of the Lorenzo-Hartley G-function together with the Mittag-Leffler function. This investigation exposes that rising nanoparticle volume fraction improves the heat transfer rate, however the skin friction coefficient is affected by time and fractional parameters. The influences of diverse parameters are debated graphically. This study has numerous operations in thermal engineering. © 2024

This paper presents a gain enhanced rectangular dielectric resonator antenna (DRA) using air gap. The air gap placed under the dielectric resonator antenna and above the ground plane. A gain of 6.605 dBi obtained from the DRA with air gap while gain of 5.956 dBi is achieved by DRA without air gap. The size of the antenna is approximately 50 mm by 40 mm, thus it can be considered a compact design. This antenna designed using Rogers RO4003 substrate and the DRA material is Eccostock HIK. All the design and simulation results are conducted using CST Studio Suite 2019 software. Based on the result, it shows that the antenna operates with reflection coefficient of less than -10 dB at the desired operating frequency range, centered at 3.5 GHz. The inclusion of air gap proved that it can enhance the gain value of the DRA.

Heavy metal contamination of soil is becoming a life-threatening issue causing serious threat to our ecosystem. These metals reduce the potency of soil and affect the entire environment negatively. In plants, these metals inhibit the rate of photosynthesis, production of major proteins and enzymes. Decrease in the trend of seed germination, premature- growth have also been observed. Phytoremediation is a modern strategy that is used for treatment of contaminated soil using various methods, including phytoextraction, phytostabilization, phytovolatilization and phytofiltration. Phytoremediation has gained importance over different physical and chemical methods like soil replacement, washing policies and solidification as it is cost-effective and easy to adopt technology. The utilization of this green technology has benefited mankind via the reduction of heavy metal accumulation in plant parts, specifically non-edible plants. In view of the several merits of the green technology, this review paper discussed several literatures published on heavy metal toxicity, their risk assessment and phytoremediation method, while various research gaps were suggested to tackle some challenges inherent in phytoremediation approach for the treatment of heavy-metal contaminated soils. © 2023 The Authors
