With the global increase in the popularity of cryptocurrencies, the need for anomaly detection and fraudulent behavior is reaching an all-Time high. In our paper, we propose a novel method of anomaly detection with the use of Numerical Association Rule Mining with Differential Evolution. The experiment was conducted by using the Dogecoin blockhain, and the dataset contained all of the transactions from one month. Our results contained 303 rules, with the best fitness function value of 0.8. © 2023 IEEE.

The rapid proliferation of internet-based technology has made the sharing economy the next e-commerce business model. Recently, sharing economy lodging platforms have gained a significant market share in the tourism and lodging industry. Tourism and hospitality industries are now being significantly disrupted by Airbnb, an online lodging platform. For businesses and customers who utilize these accommodation platforms, online reviews serve as quality indicators, affecting their decisions to make a transaction. Sentiment analysis and text mining can be used to analyze these online reviews to identify various factors embedded in them that can influence how guests perceive lodging in the sharing economy. Peer-to-peer accommodation platforms can benefit from analyzing these aspects since they can utilize the results to streamline their operations and give customers better services. Current research on this domain has only identified a limited number of important factors, such as trust, quality, security, price, cleanliness, and indoor environmental quality. However, there can be many other factors that can affect the accommodation experience. These factors would require further attention. Therefore, in this study a dataset pertaining to the Airbnb platform was considered which contained a total of 401 964 review comments. Word cloud, frequency distribution, and topic modeling were used as data analysis techniques to identify various factors affecting accommodation experience. Results indicate that factors including location, safety, host-guest interaction, amenities, proximity to restaurants and transit options, and apartment uniqueness can be primarily taken into account to give superior services to their clients. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents the conceptual design and development of an ergonomic and polymeric prosthetic foot. This study was done in two phases the prototype design and the selection of materials with fabrication. During the design stage, the inputs from the Certified Prosthetists and Orthotists (CPO) and literature review were discussed amongst four interested parties (UMP-ADTEC Jerantu-JasaMedik Enterprise-Hospital Pulau Pinang). In addition, the design was also developed based on the knowledge gathered during industrial training period with a prosthetic company, in which the company provides prosthetic and orthotic services. A series of discussions has been organized and in consensus with all interested parties, the prototype design was successfully developed. This design then simulates using Solidworks software to determine its stress, strain and displacement. The result show the von-mises stress for Solid Ankle Cushion Heel (SACH) foot was higher. In addition, the selection and analysis on material development has been carried out in one go. Finally, the prototype prosthetic foot known as Solid Ankle Cushion Heel (SACH) has been fabricated and the field test is to be carried out at a rehabilitation center. From this analysis, the prosthetic foot uses new materials which are polyurethane and neoprene, 99.4 and 0.6% because it gives good tensile strength and also young modulus for the designing process until the casting process. Green hydrogen is vital for the global energy transition, offering a sustainable and emissions-free alternative to fossil fuels. This research aims to enhance the performance of alkaline electrolysis systems and reduce their cost by exploring two key strategies: improving aluminum electrodes through surface treatment and integrating nanomaterials into the process. To address material degradation and efficiency challenges, aluminum electrodes were treated using micro-arc oxidation (MAO), which created a corrosion-resistant ceramic-like surface layer. This treatment increased electrode durability and enhanced interaction with the electrolyte, significantly boosting hydrogen production. Additionally, incorporating nanomaterials such as copper oxide and zinc oxide nanoparticles optimizes electrochemical activity, reduces energy requirements, and improves system performance. Experimental results confirmed the efficiency of these enhancements. MAO-treated electrodes improved hydrogen output by up to 30 % at lower potassium hydroxide (KOH) concentrations and maintained a 5 % boost even at higher concentrations. Including nanoparticles provided remarkable results: copper oxide increased hydrogen production by 107 %, while zinc oxide achieved an astounding 745 % improvement. These findings underscore the transformative potential of these techniques in advancing clean hydrogen production technologies.

Since all people used vehicles as a necessity, the growing number of vehicles is increasing day by day. With the increasing number of vehicles on the road, the requirement of parking lot will also be restricted. Thus, it become a problem for the people to find a free parking space in the busy building especially in shopping complex. Internet of Things (IoT) is an interesting technology that can be applied in this paper because this technology has a capability to transfer the data over a network without requiring human intervention in almost all applications in today's society. In this paper, a user-friendly mobile application, named as Android-based Car Parking Monitoring System (ACPMS) is built to aid in locating a particular parking place. ACPMS can provide a user with the ability to check vacant parking space and locate the nearest parking lot. ACPMS obtained the parking location from the current user's position with the sensor located in the shopping complex's parking lot. ACPMS is testing in a realistic environment for the purpose of movement detection and location service to notify user using the mobile application. By considering seven test case scenarios, the combination of the ACPMS mobile application with a parking prototype kit shows that the proposed work able to solve the parking problem. © 2020 IEEE.

Aspect-Sentiment Triplet Extraction (ASTE) is one of the most challenging and complex tasks in sentiment analysis. It concerns the construction of triplets that contain an aspect, its associated sentiment polarity, and an opinion phrase that serves as a rationale for the assigned polarity. Despite the growing popularity of the task and the many machine learning methods being proposed to address it, the number of datasets for ASTE is very limited. In particular, no dataset is available for any of the Slavic languages. In this paper, we present two new datasets for ASTE containing customer opinions about hotels and purchased products expressed in Polish. We also perform experiments with two ASTE techniques combined with two large language models for Polish to investigate their performance and the difficulty of the assembled datasets. The new datasets are available under a permissive licence and have the same file format as the English datasets, facilitating their use in future research. © 2024 ELRA Language Resource Association: CC BY-NC 4.0.

The Internet of Things (IoT) application has becoming progressively in-demand, most notably for the embedded devices (ED). However, each device has its own difference in computational capabilities, memory usage, and energy resources in connecting to the Internet by using Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In order for this to be achievable, the WSNs that form the bulk of the IoT implementation requires a new set of technologies and protocol that would have a defined area, in which it addresses. Thus, IPv6 Low Power Area Network (6LoWPAN) was designed by the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) as a standard network for ED. Nevertheless, the communication between ED and 6LoWPAN requires appropriate routing protocols for it to achieve the efficient Quality of Service (QoS). Among the protocols of 6LoWPAN network, RPL is considered to be the best protocol, however its Energy Consumption (EC) and Routing Overhead (RO) is considerably high when it is implemented in a large network. Therefore, this paper would propose the HRPL to enchance the RPL protocol in reducing the EC and RO. In this study, the researchers would present the performance of RPL and HRPL in terms of EC, Control traffic Overhead (CTO) and latency based on the simulation of the 6LoWPAN network in fixed environment using COOJA simulator. The results show HRPL protocol achieves better performance in all the tested topology in terms of EC and CTO. However, the latency of HRPL only improves in chain topology compared with RPL. We found that further research is required to study the relationship between the latency and the load of packet transmission in order to optimize the EC usage. © 2019 IEEE.

Modelling, simulation and optimal control for a lithium-ion battery cell is discussed. The model involves ionic concentrations, currents and potentials in the electrodes and the separator together with the battery temperature as state variables. The resulting system is a nonlinear PDAE system with 10 partial, 1 ordinary differential and 4 algebraic equations involving the Butler-Volmer kinetics for describing the interaction of ionic currents and potentials. Time-optimal charging of the battery subject to age-preventing leads to a state-constrained optimal control problem which is solved in two ways. A first-discretize-then-optimize approach leads to a high-dimensional nonlinear optimization problem which is solved by an efficient solver. As an alternative, a feedback control law along an active arc of the state constraint of order 1 is derived to formulate and solve the corresponding so-called induced optimization problem. © 2015 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. In comparison to conventional book-printed content, electronic "publishing"has allowed users to import files to either a personal computer or an e-book reader to read text in a digital format. Reduced printing costs and reduced time to market by streamlined drafting, proofing, and printing methods are the benefits of the publishing industry over the conventional printed book (p-book). It prevents binding, distribution and shipping. The intent of this paper is to explore the strategic use of e-commerce in the transformation of the publishing industry. The first part of the paper discusses the strategic use of e-commerce/Web-Based Business in the transition from a single distribution channel mass producer of printed books to a multiple distribution channel that will include e-books and print on demand technology in the publishing industry. Emphasis is put on management techniques in the global marketplace for the use of emerging information technologies. The second section of this paper addresses the transfer in competitive influence between the different levels of the supply chain of the publishing industry, including the latest trends in electronic publishing from the stakeholders' point of view. Expected to serve as the base for development within the digitized print industry. As e-publishing becomes popular and moves towards maturity, to allow a "mainstream"status, common standards must emerge and combine. © 2021 IEEE.

Human facial expression becomes an important technology in recent years. As information technology and networks have grown, identification and authentication have become more frequent in people's daily lives, especially using biometric technology. Human facial recognition involves face detection, feature extraction, and classification. A lot of experiments showed that there are various techniques for extracting facial features and classifying facial expressions. This paper reviews and analyze the various optimization techniques on extract feature and classification stage for human facial expression recognition. This review will compare two kinds of extract features methods and one classification method. The first technique of extracting features is the optimization technique using the K-Mean algorithm, which helps to increase recognition accuracy. The second extract feature is an optimization technique using improved Gradient Local Ternary Pattern (GLTP) which is beneficial for computational resources efficiency. Lastly, the optimization technique for image classification using a three-staged Support Vector Machine (SVM) is very helpful for increasing accuracy and eliminating error. The modified GLTP is able to obtain an accuracy of 97%. © 2022 IEEE.
