The approximate stochastic simulation algorithms are the alternative methods to simulate the complex biological systems with a loss in accuracy by acquiring from computational demand. These methods depend on the leap condition. Here, the study aims to construct an actual and close confidence interval for the parameter denoting the number of simultaneously reaction in the system, by expanding the leap condition and the hazard function by second and third order Taylor expansion in the same time. To reach the goal, we use the poisson τ -leap and approximate Gillespie algorithm. Moreover, we derive the maximum likelihood estimators (MLE) and the method of moment estimators (MME) of the simulation parameters and construct confidence interval estimators at a given significance level α for these extended version of algorithms. Finally, we theoretically present that the obtained k can generate more narrower results [1–5, 7, 10]. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

The given paper introduces a multi-staged AI-driven intrusion prevention system (IPS) that utilizes mathematical foundations like statistical analysis, probabilistic models, and optimization techniques to design strategic algorithms that recognize patterns as well as detect anomalies & potential attack vectors, which usually get missed out on by traditional security tools. The study focuses on the hybrid behavior that combines supervised and reinforcement learning (RL) methods to provide useful analysis of network traffic, which improves early detection of threats, whether they are known or unknown. This research demonstrates how the proposed AI-driven model can achieve a substantial decrease in the rate of false positives and improve threat detection accuracy. Thus, the given framework acts as a proactive component against today’s evolving cybersecurity threats and hence allows the creation of an efficient and responsive enterprise security framework. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of Computer Applications and Management 2025.

Chinese short text similarity computation stands as a pivotal task within natural language processing, garnering significant attention. However, existing models grapple with limitations in handling intricate semantic relationships, such as the challenge of discerning subtle semantic nuances in text, inadequacies in effectively integrating diverse levels of semantic information, and the struggle to capture polysemous meanings accurately. In addressing these issues, this paper introduces an innovative Chinese short text similarity computation model, SMGC-SBERT. This model addresses shortcomings of the existing models by employing a multi-module fusion strategy, thereby enabling a more precise measurement of semantic similarity between texts. Primarily, the model incorporates SAT embedding to acquire phrase-level semantic information and leverages the MS-BERT model to encode text, improving the model's comprehension of textual polysemy and obtaining richer semantic representation. Then, the fusion of module features, including multi-branch convolutional networks and mix pooling, enables the extraction of textual features from varied levels, bolstering the model's representational capacity. Additionally, to further reduce overfitting risks while improving accuracy and other performance, a multi-layer feature adjustment network is utilized for short text similarity calculation. The final resultant experimental findings showcase the superiority of the SMGC-SBERT model over other neural network models, demonstrating significant advancements across both Chinese-SNLI and CCKS2018_Task3 Chinese short text datasets. © 2024 IEEE.

Extracting buildings from remote sensing images using deep learning techniques is a widely applied and crucial task. Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) adopt hierarchical feature representation, showcasing powerful capabilities in extracting local information but facing challenges in capturing global features. Transformers can address this limitation, but they perform poorly in extracting local features and significantly increase memory requirements and computational complexity. To overcome these challenges, we propose a method for building extraction from remote sensing images called LGDB-Net (Local-Global Dual-Branch Network), employing a dual-branch approach. Firstly, inspired by Swin Transformer, we designed GB-Former(Global Branch-Former) as the backbone network to model global information. We use a linear multi-head self-attention mechanism to reduce time and memory complexity while maintaining a large global receptive field. Additionally, we replace the traditional multi-layer perceptron with a convolution-enhanced multi-layer perceptron to improve channel feature representation, reduce model parameters, and enhance segmentation performance. Secondly, we use multiple Depth-wise Conv3×3 + LN (Layer Normalization) + GeLU (Gaussian Error Linear Unit) modules as the auxiliary branch for local detailed feature extraction. Finally, we adopt a multi-scale feature fusion strategy to integrate feature information from both branches. We conduct a series of experiments on three datasets: WHU, Massachusetts, and Inria. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method not only effectively improves segmentation accuracy with lower building omission and commission rates but also significantly reduces model parameters and computational complexity. © 2024 IEEE.

Image-text matching is an important problem at the intersection of computer vision and natural language processing. It aims to establish the semantic link between image and text to achieve high-quality semantic alignment between the two modalities. However, the existing methods have the problem that the meaning expressed in the image or the complex narrative in the text cannot be fully understood due to insufficient feature extraction. Moreover, due to the essential modal differences between images and texts, how to effectively and accurately align the semantic contents in images and texts has become the key of research. In order to solve the above problems, this paper proposes a method based on feature enhancement and relationship interaction. When processing images, the proposed method fuses labeled features, region features and location features to represent images. When processing text, a combination of Bi-GRU and self-attention mechanism is used to represent the text. In order to further align the semantic content in images and texts accurately, this paper improves two relational interaction mechanisms by identifying connection relationships and learning association relationships. Thus, the relation enhanced embedding is obtained. Finally, it calculated the similarity of the enhanced embedding to judge the matching degree of the image and text. Extensive experiments on the public datasets Flickr30K and MSCOCO demonstrate the effectiveness of our method. © 2024 IEEE.

Malaria is a severe illness triggered by parasites that spreads via mosquito *** underdeveloped nations,malaria is one of the top causes of mortality,and it is mainly diagnosed through ***-assisted malaria diagnosis is difficult owing to the fine-grained differences throughout the presentation of some uninfected and infected ***,in this study,we present a new idea based on the ensemble quantum-classical framework for malaria *** methods comprise three core steps:localization,segmentation,and *** the first core step,an improved FRCNN model is proposed for the localization of the infected malaria ***,the RGB localized images were converted into YCbCr channels to normalize the image intensity ***,the actual lesion region was segmented using a histogram-based color thresholding *** segmented images were employed for classification in two different *** the first method,a CNN model is developed by the selection of optimum layers after extensive experimentation,and the final computed feature vector is passed to the softmax layer for classification of the infection/non-infection of themicroscopicmalaria ***,a quantum-convolutionalmodel is employed for informative feature extraction from microscopicmalaria images,and the extracted feature vectors are supplied to the softmax layer for ***,classification results were analyzed from two different models and concluded that the quantum-convolutional model achieved maximum accuracy as compared to *** proposed models attain a precision rate greater than 90%,thereby proving that these models performed better than the existing models.

Deep-Learning-Scheme (DLS) based medical data assessment has been widely employed in recent years due to its improved accuracy. Our goal is to study the performance of the pre-trained DLS on RGB-scale breast-histology images. The implemented idea holds these phases;(i) Data collection, pre-processing and resizing, (ii) Training the DLS with chosen test-pictures, (iii) Testing and validating the performance of the DLS with 5-fold cross-validation. This investigation considered the breast-histology pictures for the study and binary classification is employed to achieve Normal/Cancer class grouping of images. The proposed work compared the classification performance of AlexNet, VGG16 and *** experimental outcome of this study authenticates that the AlexNet with the Random-Forest (RF) classifier helps to get a higher classification accuracy (>87%) compared to VGG16 and VGG19. © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd.

With the advancement of network technology, users can now easily gain access to and benefit from networks. However, the number of network violations is increasing. The main issue with this violation is that irresponsible individuals are infiltrating the network. Network intrusion can be interpreted in a variety of ways, including cyber criminals forcibly attempting to disrupt network connections, gaining unauthorized access to valuable data, and then stealing, corrupting, or destroying the data. There are already numerous systems in place to detect network intrusion. However, the systems continue to fall short in detecting and counter-attacking network intrusion attacks. This research aims to enhance the detection of Denial of service (DoS) by identifying significant features and identifying abnormal network activities more accurately. To accomplish this goal, the study proposes an Intrusion Analysis System for detecting Denial of service (DoS) network attacks using machine learning. The accuracy rate of the proposed method using random forest was demonstrated in our experimental results. It was discovered that the accuracy rate with each dataset is greater than 98.8 percent when compared to traditional approaches. Furthermore, when features are selected, the detection time is significantly reduced. © 2021 IEEE.

A home helper is in high demand these days because it relieves the stress of doing household chores. Home helpers are usually self-employed and work part-time in their clients' homes. Be that as it may, having domestic helper departments within the nearby local area is annoying since residents, in general, have no foggy idea of when or how to contact the person providing these types of help. Examples of departments that could be offered include escort departments, garden maintenance, dinner planning, pet grooming, assistance with family tasks, or even friendship for the elderly. It is clear that there is a gap between the specialized household cooperatives and the neighboring local area that requested the departments. Usually, individuals introducing departments present their administrations by using flyers or bypassing their phone numbers to individuals. This is definitely not an accurate display system because the dispersion of the data is limited to just a small aggregation of the surrounding local area. Going forward, I-HomeHelper acts as a unique stage for people to bring their department to an end through openness who are asking their departments to take advantage of current developments in Global Positioning Systems (GPS) with Industry Revolution 4.0 (IR4.0). I-HomeHelper authorizes to make an orderly reservation for the necessary departments and also fills as a stage for the advancement of the various departments accessible. The finer details of departments that include costs, name of home partners, and contact numbers are likewise shown on the advanced page so that the general community can choose which departments meet their models. This app is expected to create an ecosystem for holistic critical development for these freelance people and benefit an audience that really needs help with family chores or home maintenance. © 2021 IEEE.

In recent years,the number of Gun-related incidents has crossed over 250,000 per year and over 85%of the existing 1 billion firearms are in civilian hands,manual monitoring has not proven effective in detecting *** is why an automated weapon detection system is *** automated convolutional neural networks(CNN)weapon detection systems have been proposed in the past to generate good ***,These techniques have high computation overhead and are slow to provide real-time detection which is essential for the weapon detection *** models have a high rate of false negatives because they often fail to detect the guns due to the low quality and visibility issues of surveillance *** research work aims to minimize the rate of false negatives and false positives in weapon detection while keeping the speed of detection as a key *** proposed framework is based on You Only Look Once(YOLO)and Area of Interest(AOI).Initially,themodels take pre-processed frames where the background is removed by the use of the Gaussian blur *** proposed architecture will be assessed through various performance parameters such as False Negative,False Positive,precision,recall rate,and F1 *** results of this research work make it clear that due to YOLO-v5s high recall rate and speed of detection are *** reached 0.010 s per frame compared to the 0.17 s of the Faster *** is promising to be used in the field of security and weapon detection.
