Cryptography is a scientific area, which is in continue progress. It is dictated by the technological development, as well as the complexity of cyber-attacks. For this reason, existing cryptosystems are being improved and new ones are emerging. Recently, the apparatus of fuzzy graphs and its applicability in a wide variety of domains, including cryptography, is explored for achieving a high level of security. The aim of the paper is to present a discussion regarding properties of fuzzy graphs, which are suitable for usage in cryptography and an idea for implementation for a Diffie – Hellman like protocol to be argued. This research proposes an approach to improve the performance of effort estimation based on the balancing of each group for categorical variables. The proposed model is based on function point analysis, Industry Sector, and deep learning. The Pytorch library is used to build the deep learning model with the dataset ISBSG (release 2020). The accuracy of our model is compared with that of the Adj-Effort approach. We adopt the prediction level at 0.3, Mean Absolute Error, Mean Balanced Relative Error, Mean Inverted Balanced Relative Error, and Standardised Accuracy as criteria for validation. The findings demonstrate that our proposed model outweighs the unbalanced and Adj-Effort approaches. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

As the cast strand moves through the secondary cooling zone in a continuous casting machine, the secondary cooling zone is typically separated into a number of zones to control the cooling rate. The secondary cooling zone’s primary tasks in terms of heat transfer are to deliver the amount of water necessary to completely solidify a strand within the parameters of continuous casting operation, such as steel grade and casting speed, or the system can the ability to control the strand’s thermal conditions from below the mold to the end of the secondary cooling zone, such as the required strand surface temperature. In this paper, the controller parameter optimization process will be done in Simulink using a robust control toolbox, and a robust method based on IMC controllers will be selected for control synthesis with the consideration of the controlled system uncertainty, and the result will be displayed as temperature fields, which represent the system with distributed parameters. © 2023, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.

This comprehensive literature review analyzes the current state-of-the-art research on 5G applications and technologies in smart grids. Adhering to PRISMA guidelines, the review presents a detailed taxonomy of applications and methodologies being utilized in this field. The review searched various electronic databases from 2012 to 2022, and conducted bibliometric analysis to identify research trends, influential authors, journals, and institutions in this field. The review identifies various 5G applications and technologies used in Smart grids, and the potential benefits of 5G technology in enhancing the efficiency, reliability, and security of smart grid systems. The study provides valuable insights into the research trends, research gaps, and future research directions in this field, and can guide researchers and practitioners in developing and implementing 5G-enabled smart grid systems. © 2023 IEEE.

Reducing electricity consumption belongs to significant prerequisites of mitigating the negative impact of the current energy crisis in Europe. At the same time, it is a necessary condition for slowing down the environmental deterioration of the Earth. Various studies have shown that the Bidgely technology, which provides consumers with disaggregated data on individual electric appliance consumption, has proven to be a successful way of achieving savings and more responsible consumer behavior. Bidgely enables sending personal recommendations to an individual consumer, when their consumption compared to consumers within a close radius, is higher and above the benchmark. Our study examines the impact of personal recommendations by Bidgely on consumer behavior. It compares the consumption of individual appliances in a household before and after a consumer has received the recommendations. © 2023 MIPRO Croatian Society.

The current materials design methodologies depend on AI-driven approaches to accelerate the development of materials. Deep learning (DL) and Machine Learning (ML) play essential roles in advancing materials design by automating analysis tasks and uncovering complex relationships within large datasets. These computational methods offer essential tools for materials innovation. This article investigates the impact of DL and ML on materials design innovation through proposing two taxonomies, i.e., one which focuses on the methods and the other on applications. The method-based taxonomy categorizes the different approaches used in DL and ML for materials design, while the application-based taxonomy presents the real-world scenarios. © 2024 IEEE.

This research discusses about the implementation of MPU6050 to a SAR robot as a rotational motion control and improvement of robot stability. MPU6050 is implemented using ROS (Robot Operating System) and PID control. ROS is used as a means of communication while managing robot programs, namely the gyroscope reading program, PID control, and serial communication. A good PID control is able to provide stability to the robot's motion, both moving forward and balancing the robot body. PID requires tuning to produce the appropriate Kp, Ki, and Kd values. The result of this research is that ROS is able to manage the robot program well, and the PID tuning value with Kp = 0.12, Ki = 0, and Kd = 0 and completion time for 3.04s. It is hoped that this research will be able to provide an explanation of the implementation of ROS-based MPU6050 and PID control in improving the stability and rotational motion of the SAR robot. © 2024 IEEE.

Within the territory of Hungary, there are several dialects that differ from the traditional Hungarian language and have various accents. These differences can influence speech, vocabulary, and text, often leading to misunderstandings. These accents have developed over several centuries and have preserved their regional characteristics. The accent primarily relates to the emphasis and pronunciation of sounds, but there are also written traces that have been preserved over hundreds of years. This intriguing language processing challenge raises the question of whether we can create a translation program using natural language processing models that are capable of translating text or speech between different accents. While we are aware of the similarities between these dialects and the traditional Hungarian language, the research aims to discover further connections between different dialects. Data collection itself poses an interesting challenge since these are only dialects and not distinctly separated from each other. Additionally, there is no comprehensive compilation of the vocabulary or uniqueness of each dialect in Hungarian according to our best knowledge. Even within dialects found in books, there are variations as texts can span several decades or even centuries. Furthermore, territorial changes have also influenced dialects. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, we focus on integer sequences corresponding to the number of vertices in k-iterated line digraphs. We begin by introducing the core concepts related to digraphs. Then, we describe a method, proposed by Dalfó and Fiol, for calculating the order of k-iterated line digraphs. We explore various families of digraphs, such as De Bruijn, Kautz, Cyclic Kautz, and Square-free digraphs. To generate integer sequences representing the number of vertices in k-iterated line digraphs, we implement an algorithm that constructs induced subdigraphs by not allowing vertices containing forbidden subwords. The results include comparisons of the obtained integer sequences with those in the OEIS database and identification of new integer sequences. Our algorithm is implemented in the computational system GAP. © 2024 CEUR-WS. All rights reserved.

This study contributes to the deep learning literature by investigating the applicability of different DL models to forecasting monthly LEK/EUR exchange rate. To demonstrate the effectiveness for exchange rate forecasting of this models we examine the performance of several deep learning techniques (DFNN, LSTM and 1D-CNN). For each architecture, we have used different configuration and diverse techniques to avoid overfitting of the models. The accuracy evaluation of each model was based on the out-of-sample prediction for different horizon (3, 6 and 12 months ahead), by analyzing the model estimation for pre- and post- Covid pandemic. The comparison results show that the LSTM model with two hidden layers stands out as the best prediction model in the run-up to forecast three and six months ahead, followed by the three-layered 1DCNN model. However, they change places in the race for the 12 months horizon as the 1DCNN-3L becomes the first-best predicting model while leaving the LSTM-2L rank in second. These results demonstrate the potential of deep learning techniques, and also, they emphasize the importance of well configuring, implementing and selecting the different topologies. © 2023 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
