This research assesses the impact of applying AI technologies to address IT Service Desk (ITSD) problems. The necessity of this study arises with the increasing dependency on technology in recent years. IT Service Desk plays a crucial role in providing remote IT support to the businesses' end-users regardless of their location. The high demand for the IT Service Desk resulted in the need for additional IT resources to manage the increasing number of IT requests, which could increase the IT support activities. In many cases, increasing the number of IT agents is not adequate, which leads to quality degradation caused by delayed or inaccurate resolutions provided by the IT agents. The main objectives of this study are to show how the adoption of AI technologies may improve the effectiveness of IT services. Also, this study aims to evaluate the challenges on the implementation of AI solutions within the IT Service Desk by highlighting the future potential of AI solutions in the IT support world.

This study introduces a new continuous time differential system,which contains ten terms with three quadratic *** new system can demonstrate hyperchaotic,chaotic,quasi-periodic,and periodic behaviors for its different parameter *** theoretical and numerical analysis are investigated to confirm the complex hyperchaotic behavior of our proposed model using many tools that include Kaplan-Yorke dimension,equilibrium points stability,bifurcation diagrams,and Lyapunov *** means of Multisim software,the authors also designed an electronic circuit to confirm our proposed systems’physical *** and Multisim simulation results excellently agree with each other,which validate the feasibility of our new ten terms hyperchaotic system and make it very desirable to use in different domains especially in chaotic-based ***,by employing the drive response synchronisation,we developed a secure communication strategy for the proposed *** from the proposed scheme show that the proposed approach was successful in completing the encryption and decryption procedure.

In this paper, we look at how measurement error affects the statistical performance of the s chart. The linear covariate error model is used to evaluate the efficiency of the s chart with measurement error. The influence of input factors on the performance of the s chart is explored using the linear covariate error model. Shorter out-of-control average run lengths of the s chart are seen to be connected to smaller measurement error ratios, higher coefficient B values, and more repeated measurements of each item in each sample. To illustrate how to use the s chart when there is measurement error, an example is given. © 2023 SPIE.

Hyperspectral images can easily discriminate different materials due to their fine spectral ***,obtaining a hyperspectral image(HSI)with a high spatial resolution is still a challenge as we are limited by the high computing *** spatial resolution of HSI can be enhanced by utilizing Deep Learning(DL)based Super-resolution(SR).A 3D-CNNHSR model is developed in the present investigation for 3D spatial super-resolution for HSI,without losing the spectral *** 3DCNNHSR model was tested for the Hyperion *** pre-processing of the HSI was done before applying the SR model so that the full advantage of hyperspectral data can be utilized with minimizing the *** key innovation of the present investigation is that it used 3D convolution as it simultaneously applies convolution in both the spatial and spectral dimensions and captures spatial-spectral *** clustering contiguous spectral content together,a cube is formed and by convolving the cube with the 3D kernel a 3D convolution is *** 3D-CNNHSR model was compared with a 2D-CNN model,additionally,the assessment was based on higherresolution data from the Sentinel-2 *** on the evaluation metrics it was observed that the 3D-CNNHSR model yields better results for the SR of HSI with efficient computational speed,which is significantly less than previous studies.

When COVID-19 spread in China in December 2019, thousands of studies have focused on this pandemic. Each presents a unique perspective that reflects the pandemic’s main scientific disciplines. For example, social scientists are concerned with reducing the psychological impact on the human mental state especially during lockdown periods. Computer scientists focus on establishing fast and accurate computerized tools to assist in diagnosing, preventing, and recovering from the disease. Medical scientists and doctors, or the frontliners, are the main heroes who received, treated, and worked with the millions of cases at the expense of their own health. Some of them have continued to work even at the expense of their lives. All these studies enforce the multidisciplinary work where scientists from different academic disciplines (social, environmental, technological, etc.) join forces to produce research for beneficial outcomes during the crisis. One of the many branches is computer science along with its various technologies, including artificial intelligence, Internet of Things, big data, decision support systems (DSS), and many more. Among the most notable DSS utilization is those related to multicriterion decision making (MCDM), which is applied in various applications and across many contexts, including business, social, technological and medical. Owing to its importance in developing proper decision regimens and prevention strategies with precise judgment, it is deemed a noteworthy topic of extensive exploration, especially in the context of COVID-19-related medical applications. The present study is a comprehensive review of COVID-19-related medical case studies with MCDM using a systematic review protocol. PRISMA methodology is utilized to obtain a final set of (n = 35) articles from four major scientific databases (ScienceDirect, IEEE Xplore, Scopus, and Web of Science). The paper addresses the research question of whether the electromagnetic time reversal (EMTR) technique can be used to estimate the propagation speed of a signal on power cables. This value changes in the long term due to ageing of the cable insulation and in the short term due to the cable temperature variation. A first numerical investigation of the EMTR effectiveness in estimating the propagation speed in a simple cable system is described showing that EMTR is a promising technique to be used also for the monitoring of power cable temperature. Future research will be directed to implementation of the methodology in more complex networks.

Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) are exposed to cybersecurity challenges due to the open campus cultures of information and computing resources. Moreover, universities need to ensure that data is always protected from potential corruption, destruction or theft. Therefore, many experts have agreed that the establishment and implementation of an information security policy (ISP) is one of the most crucial factors in the protection of an organizations information assets. The success of implementing information security policies does not only depend on the awareness, acceptance and employees compliance toward security policies but also on the good design and functioning of the policy. However, security policies are not easy to develop, the policies may differ significantly in the way the policy and procedures are set forth because of different types of organizations, cultures, technology changes and users. In designing a security policy, the policys clarity, comprehensiveness, and flexibility are important to enable users to comply with any security policies. This paper presents the information security development guidelines and the experiences on the development process of Information Security policies in the HEI. This study discovered three case studies at HEI based on a conceptual policy development model. There are 44 semi-structured questions were derived from six themes of the policy development process for interviews session with IT managers. The results of this study propose nine steps for the development process of ISP and the barriers during development and implementation, especially in HEI. © 2022 Institute of Advanced engineering and Science (IAES).
