In this paper, the application of Reduced-Order Active Disturbance Rejection controller (RADRC) for processes with significant time delay is analysed. First, the analysis of the modified RADRC and its tuning method is presented. Then a practical verification for temperature control in the electric flow heater is shown. The problem of the rapid creation of effective web applications of one class using formal means is considered. A conceptual approach to its solution is offered based on an analysis of the peculiarities of the construction of web applications. Our approach is based on defining the standard web application architecture and selecting its components using formal methods in accordance with user requirements. A formal logical system is proposed that uses the design of web applications as a process of outputting a formula specified according to the needs of the user, which defines the schemes of execution of the modules of the system. An important feature of this approach is the ability to visualise the process of designing the system in 3D, which creates the conditions for effective interaction between developers and machine development tools.

In this paper, the possibility of using the virtual commissioning for developing the advanced controllers for example of electric flow heater is presented. First, based on the process measurement data, the virtual environment is prepared. Then, for selected advanced control algorithms, both virtual and real commissioning was carried out. The results are discussed in the paper and they demonstrate the impact of the applied commissioning method on the control performance provided by each of considered control algorithms.

The development of the Production Unit Performance Management Tool (PUPMT), a monitoring and diagnostic tool to select basic signals that have a significant impact on output KPIs, is based on a hierarchical analysis of key performance indicators presented in the ISO 22400 standard. The growing number of quantified signals, such as ambient temperature or even the frequency of vibrations makes decision support tools more intelligent. Moreover, they also include predictive analysis in addition to online presentation of the current state of resources. PUPMT tool allows identifying key events that have a significant impact on current or future benefit in production output. It also allows what-if type analysis, running the simulation of the impact of the proposed changes, and the results of this simulation depend on the effects of similar changes that occurred in the past in a given smart manufacturing environment. Thanks to the automatic identification of potential dependencies, the proposed solution adapts to the specifics of a given environment or even a selected production unit. The paper describes the most important methods featured in the tool. Specifically, it considers a signal classification method, a signal correlation analysis and selection of key factors affecting the efficiency of the production process. In order to verify the methods various tests were carried out to calculate and control of OEE index on 20 production units. Finally, we conclude current results and future research directions.

In this paper, we show and utilize new results on the relationship between passivity, zero dynamics and stable dynamic invertibility of linear parameter-varying (LPV) systems. Furthermore, an optimization-based systematic passivity analysis procedure and a passivating output projection are proposed for asymptotically stable rational LPV systems in the linear fractional representation (LFR) form having at least as many independent output signals as input signals. The storage function is searched in a quadratic form with a symmetric rational parameter-dependent matrix. In order to form a square system and then to satisfy the Kalman-Yakubovich- Popov (KYP) properties, a parameter-dependent output projection matrix is searched in the LFR form. The nonlinear parameter dependence from the linear matrix inequality (LMI) and equality (LME) conditions provided by the KYP lemma is factorized out using the linear fractional transformation (LFT). Then, Finsler's lemma and affine annihilators are used to relax the sufficient affine parameter-dependent LMI and LME conditions. As an application example, a stable system inversion is addressed and demonstrated on a benchmark rational LPV model.
