The paper presents an optimizing method of energy parameters of three-phase induction motor in order to improve their efficiency class from IE2 to 1E3 or IE4. These efficiency classes are defined in the European standard IEC 60034-301:2014. The optimization is performed using specific software by successively adjusting the geometry and the technology. The results have been validated by experiments within the UMEB SA laboratories. The three-phase induction motor that has been analyzed has a rated output of 45 kW, 380V (delta connection), rated speed 1475 rot/min and squirrel-cage rotor type.

The paper presents a planing problem for an assistant manipulator capable of passing objects to user. Moreover, the presented planning problem is solved and implemented with use of STRIPS notation, modifying an Elementary Block World environment. The presented problem is written in form of operations and predicates and solved with use of graph representation and heuristic function. The planning problem has the ability of fast expansion, thus the use of heuristics showed the huge possibility of problem reduction. With use of algorithm implementation, a model of assistant robot manipulator has been created and it can be used to prove the possibilities of real world application with real robotic arm manipulator.

Performing complex activities that accompany piloting an airplane requires a lot of concentration, coordination and reflex from the pilots. Additionally, the responsibility that lies on a person that controls any kind of flying platform can lead to the increased amount of pressure and stress. Considering all of the aforementioned conditions, it is essential to provide a system capable of evaluating and monitoring of pilot's alertness and mental fatigue during different phases of flight. Such solution can potentially drastically improve the efficiency of flight operating staff, which may lead to the increase in the overall flight safety. In this study we attempt to propose the statistical measures allowing to evaluate mental parameters of airplane pilots during the simulated flight sessions. Thanks to that, a flight aiding solution can be proposed, which would be capable of monitoring and alerting of any potentially dangerous cases of pilot's decreased concentration or increased weariness. Additionally, the specific requirements of different flight phases could be taken into consideration. The electroencephalography (EEG) is one of the most popular technologies used for the recording and monitoring of brain bioelectrical activity. Such activity can then be properly processed and used for the task of statistical description of mental states required for this research. For experiment presented in this article, the Emotiv EPOC+ Scientific Contextual EEG devices were used. Such apparatus provides 14 EEG channels positioned with the accordance to the standard 10-20 electrode placement system. Very important features of the EPOC+ headsets are their portability and ease of montage which are critical in this study. In this paper, a short survey of recent results in the field of approximate controllability of nonlinear stochastic fractional order systems is studied. For the analysed classes of stochastic systems the methodology applied to obtain sufficient controllability conditions is discussed. In the paper finite-dimensional stationary dynamical control systems described by linear stochastic ordinary differential state equations with single point delay in the control are considered. Using notations, theorems and methods taken directly from deterministic controllability problems, necessary and sufficient conditions for different kinds of stochastic relative controllability are formulated and proved. It will be proved that under suitable assumptions relative controllability of a deterministic linear associated dynamical system is equivalent to stochastic relative exact controllability and stochastic relative approximate controllability of the original linear stochastic dynamical system.
