The article considers possible approaches to designing program modules in web application clients. A design approach is proposed, the use of which provides an increase in the ease of debugging programs in the development process, localization of errors and reduction of program code duplication. The proposed design approach is based on the division of responsibility between parts of the program code for the implementation of synchronous and asynchronous operations in asynchronous events. Responsibility for processing network interaction with the server and receiving data from the user through controls in the user interface should be assigned to asynchronous operations and their responsibility should be limited only to receiving data from external sources. In turn, updating the application state based on data from external sources should be limited to the responsibility of synchronous operations. The paper shows how the proposed design approach provides the above improvements and provides examples of program code.

The phase step method is widely used to analyze interferograms and extract the phase distribution from them. Its limitation is the large number of interferograms required for this purpose. The minimum number is three interferograms. This paper describes a general analysis algorithm that requires only two interferograms, the phase shifts between which may not be orthogonal. The idea of the paper is to obtain an additional interferogram by transforming a two-dimensional elliptical cross section that is formed by the two interferograms into a threedimensional cross section with respect to the base of some spatial cylinder. After determining the parameters of the ellipse, a projection vector parallel to the center axis of the cylinder is found. Then the two-dimensional section is projected onto a three-dimensional plane perpendicular to the center axis of the cylinder. Each of the projections of this plane onto the coordinate planes forms one of the interferograms. After obtaining three interferograms, phase demodulation was performed using a three-point algorithm. The RMS error of the phase calculation was 0.015 radians.

The single-channel technical system containing a delay channel is considered. To synthesize the automatic control system, the method of polynomial decomposition of the system is used. In this case, the delay block is approximated by the Pade series. To eliminate the negative influence of this link on the system, the poles of the transfer function of the delay link are added to the desired characteristic polynomial of the closed system. The resulting system is static, but the level of system overshoot can be significant. In a real technical system, such a quality of management may be economically unprofitable or even unacceptable. This article suggests methods and techniques for improving the quality of system management and, in particular, reducing excessive controlling. © 2022 IEEE.

An original seismic location conception for constructing high resolution and accuracy seismic images is proposed. The paper shows the certain representation of field seismic information with high resolution and precision in the form of reflected waves' hodograph series. Seismic image quality is defined by precise estimation of distance to the reflected seismic signal source, time and velocity of wave propagation in a certain medium layer, reflecting boundary inclination, etc. The application of radio-locating super-resolving methods for hodograph constructing of waves reflected from seismic section boundaries is shown. For seismic super-resolution is used a locating relief that is rendered according to a design of suggested technology. The relief allows to estimate parameters of data required with a high precision. To calculate one are used close (local) statistical signal interconnections, received by different elements of digital antenna array in narrow seismogram areas that associated with wave hodograph. High-resolution seismic location algoritms application allows to render a field information with a given accuracy; to construct hodograph series of reflected waves; to divide closely located or interferring wavefronts. The technology provides automatic processing of both wave reflected from the plane boundary hodograph construction routine task and special tasks concerned with boundary configuration fluctuation or irregularity.

The paper presents a work in progress. Personalization of the educational environment allows improving the quality of the educational process, raising it to a new level. Our development is intended to diagnose and recommend educational content, depending on the students' personality. This article describes a system of ontological models (Learner Model, educational content model and cognitive functions model) designed to diagnose students' characteristics and the subsequent issuance of educational content, taking into account these characteristics. The learner model, implemented as a Protege ontology, is based not only on human professional experience but also on student testing results. This approach, based on the use of various IQ tests, allows reflecting in the ontology the dependencies identified due to linear regression methods, as well as other types of analysis. By this way we will reduce the dependence of the model on the human expert's personality and make it more objective. Using the Protege tools, we will combine three ontologies in the architecture of a personalized environment through rules and axioms. © 2022 IEEE.

Modern universities, developing a digital environment, rely on a student-centric approach relevant to pedagogical and didactic practices. Personalization of the educational environment allows improving the quality of the educational process, raising it to a new level. This article presents the usage of multivariate modeling to identify common relationships and patterns between academic performance and psychometric characteristics. The study sample includes psychometric testing data of students from novosibirsk state technical university (NSTU), which determines cognitive, motivational and personal characteristics, and also data on their academic performance. The results obtained are further used for diagnostic and prognostic purposes to recommend educational content depending on the student's personality. © 2022 IEEE.

This paper presents the results of the development and study of the application of a computational heuristic algorithm for industrial tomography based on the use of a reference sample of an industrial product. Thus, based on a priori information about the reference sample of the product, it is possible to build a local tomographic reconstruction from limited initial data due to the selective sensitivity of the object under study to probing radiation. This approach is consistent with the principle of "strong methods", which has recently proven itself well in the field of artificial intelligence. The results obtained form the basis for the development of an appropriate information and computing technology, including algorithmic and software for computer processing and interpretation of measurement data. The paper also presents the designed architecture and software prototype with a graphical interface that implements local tomographic reconstruction based on the proposed algorithms. The presented experimental results testify to the efficiency and speed of the proposed algorithm in comparison with the classical algorithm of computed tomography. The proposed algorithm also makes it possible to detect defects of small thickness, when the classical tomography algorithm cannot cope. From an applied point of view, this study is of interest in the heuristic search for a defect in a product model and allows us to conclude that it is promising in the field of industrial flaw detection.

Medicine remains one of the data-scarce domains, with typical datasets size not exceeding hundreds of thousands items. Correspondingly, straightforward application of end-to-end Deep Learning (ML) methods for Medical Imaging is often problematic. Carefully constructed pipelines that involve filter-based enhancement of raw images allow better outcome and leave more room for feasible data augmentation. In our paper, we explore and develop computer Vision approaches for vertebrae recognition on a limited dataset of X-ray images of human spine. In particular, we test several pre-processing filters, of which Adaptive Histogram Equalization demonstrates the highest accuracy of 85.8% in a naïve model using the popular U-Net architecture. Further, we put forward the mechanism for the automated spine area cropping based on brightness cut-off. This additional step in the pipeline allowed improving the accuracy to 89.9%, which is comparable with the accuracy obtained for MRI images of higher quality. We plan to further increase the prediction quality of the model via spine segmentation into about 20 individual vertebrae and 8-fold data augmentation. The ultimate goal is improving the identification of the vertebrae corners, which currently has the relative error of 4.36%. Our intermediate results reported in the current paper might be of interest to ML engineers who pick the steps for X-ray spine images processing pipelines.

The method for solving an electric drive effective control problems through the example of a generalized electric machine was considered. A multicriteria approach to the formation of an electromagnetic moment is considered using the functions of the energy state. The control problem of providing the best combination of dynamic and energy properties of an electric drive under conditions of a given limitation of the voltage supplied to the motor windings was formalized and shown by the relationship between the power and energy characteristics of an electric machine. The arguments of the presented relationships are the values characterizing the positions of the vectors, which allow to extend obtained results to other types of ac machines. Losses in steel and saturation of the magnetic system of the motor were taken into consideration. The intensity of energy conversion processes was increased by system acceleration - the voltage and power supplied to the motor windings augmented. The conditions for changing the state of an electric machine in a minimum time with a limitation of the power supplied to the motor windings are determined by the Euler - Lagrange method. The quality criterion is time. Depending on the arguments characterizing the position of the vectors in accordance with the requirements of multi-criteria optimization, an estimate of the magnitude and efficiency of using the voltage supplied to the motor windings is shown. © 2022 IEEE.

The paper proposes a new fast method for increasing the dynamic range of brightness of images projected onto an object and registered by an optoelectronic system. The influence of photon noise on the accuracy of brightness values determination is analyzed. An algorithm realizing the increase of the dynamic range of brightness of images registered by the optoelectronic system is proposed. For this purpose, a three-color RGB image is projected onto an object. Each channel contains encoded information about the brightness field in one of the selected modules of the residual class system. An experimental validation of the proposed algorithm is carried out. The dynamic range extension up to 20 binary digits of digital image digitization is achieved. The speed of data processing was increased several times due to combining several test images into one and using a cascade scheme of their processing.
