The Shallow-depth engineering seismic studies are carried out in the upper part of the geological section, which is characterized by sharp vertical and horizontal variability of the physical properties of rocks. Additional difficulties in observing and recording caused by seismic vibrations of the soil are associated with the influence of unavoidable interference: ground (wind, sound noise), geological interference (noise of rock cracking during unloading of tectonic stress), man-made interference (the influence of power lines on signal reception, trembling of the soil during the work of construction or quarry mechanisms, cars, trains). The allocation of a useful signal against the background of interference requires the organization of seismic work with repeated repetition of excitations - the accumulation of signals, as well as the development of special computational algorithms and the use of new technologies for processing engineering seismic data. The article considers a computational algorithm of acoustic inversion, which transforms a wave seismic section into a discrete section of pulsed reactions of the medium - effective reflection coefficients. It has a compact discrete appearance and is easier for visual observation and further physico-geological interpretation. The computer technology of application of the acoustic inversion algorithm is implemented. The application of this technology to real engineering seismic data obtained on the territory of the construction of a high-rise building made it possible to determine the parameters of the geological foundation lying under the ground surface of the construction site, namely: the depth of occurrence, relief, areas of increased disintegration. The established properties of the geological foundation are necessary for the analysis of the strength and stability of soils during the construction and operation of a high-rise structure for its safety.

The paper considers the possibility of improving the educational ecosystem by using ontologies in the architecture of the university electronic information environment. Various types of actors of the modern educational ecosystem, interacting within the educational process with educational resources, are presented;their needs that are relevant for its development shortly are analyzed. This paper describes a general approach to using ontology as an element of the IT architecture of a university. Formalizing objects of the educational process in the form of ontology (OWL, RDF models) allows creating various applications for its intellectual support, ensuring the uniformity of architectural solutions and further evolutionary development of the university information environment based on the IEEE LOM and TinCanAPI standards. © 2021 IEEE.

The telemetry transfer from the bottom to the wellhead is an urgent problem that does not have a general-purpose solution. The paper presents studies aimed at the effect of drill locks and foreign conductive objects on the ultrasonic signal attenuation. Ultrasonic receiver and transmitter based on TR60-10H0Z-01 piezoelectric elements were used for measurements. The frequency of the transmitted signal is 60 kHz. The measurements were carried out on an experimental setup representing a six-meter-long pipe, in which the transmitter moved freely. Regression analysis follows a nonlinear attenuation model in a pipe filled with water, with a drill lock, and filled with air. It was found that one drill lock in the pipe reduces the signal level by 18 %. At the same time, the attenuation model without the linear component remains the same. Modeling of the attenuation level over a longer distance when using drill locks in pipes of 8.3 m showed that a decrease of the signal amplitude to the noise level would occur to 400 m. For comparison, a damping model was obtained for an ultrasonic signal in an empty waveguide.

In this article, a study of radial and trunk circuits of networks was carried out and power losses were determined using the proposed coefficients. Equivalent resistances of the investigated circuits were calculated considering the changes in circuit and mode parameters. Results of calculations are presented, considering equipment layout and technical parameters. © 2023 IEEE.

The article discusses the main features of mechanical, chemical, thermal, and electrical processes occurring in the contact zones of the surfaces of contact connections of electrical devices. The parameters determining the value of power losses and power consumption in low voltage switching equipment are analyzed. The main features of the characteristics of the topology and technical condition in the operating conditions of the equipment of shop low-voltage industrial power supply networks are shown. A comparative analysis of the technical characteristics of automatic circuit breakers. Using catalog data, the dependences of active power losses in circuit breakers on rated currents are established. Algorithms have been developed and the obtained dependencies have been modeled using approximating functions. The standard deviation of the compiled approximating functions is calculated. Analytical expressions of the dynamics of power losses per pole in the studied machines of some companies of the function of the rated current are presented. The graphical dependencies of the investigated parameters of low-voltage equipment are presented. The developed models are recommended to be used to increase the reliability of the assessment and refinement of the amount of active power and electricity losses in low-voltage electrical networks of industrial power supply systems. © 2023 IEEE.

The article describes the reliability of transformers, the failure rate and uptime to the first failure, the durability and maintainability of transformers and their service life, the allowable temperature rises and the dependence of steady-state overheating on the load factor of the transformer. An assessment of the effect of ambient temperature on the rated power of the transformer is shown. Dependences of heating on the changing load of transformers are given. The heating time constant is calculated depending on the power and cooling system of the transformer. The winding heating temperature is considered for real daily load schedules of a 33/11 kV transformer, the maximum actual overheats are compared when loaded with full power with allowable overheats. These studies can be used in transformers 33/11 kV and others with subsequent interpolation of values. © 2023 IEEE.

The problems of creating controlled electric drive systems based on an induction motor with a phase rotor, easy to manufacture, cheap to maintain and economical, remain relevant due to their fairly wide application on lifting and transport mechanisms (LTM), for example, on bridge metallurgical cranes and conveyors. At the same time, one of the important tasks is to increase the efficiency of AC electric drives with energy saving, which is achieved through the introduction of a frequency converter. At the same time, the parametric start-up control and frequency control systems currently used, made on the basis of starting resistors and controllers, are not economical in terms of energy consumption and do not allow to provide the required dynamic indicators. Currently, frequency converters with a DC link implemented on fully controlled IGBT transistors are mainly used to power regulated AC electric drives. The development of control systems for AC electric motors has led to the emergence of new algorithms for controlling the power switches of the frequency converter, which improve the quality of the voltage feeding the stator winding, reduce the number of high-frequency harmonics in the generated voltage and current of the stator. A promising direction for the development of frequency asynchronous electric drive systems based on an asynchronous motor with a phase rotor, characterized by the ability to measure the instantaneous values of the phase currents of the rotor, is the use of scalar frequency-current control systems with additional correction circuits of moment-forming variables, allowing to implement scalar control with vector correction of the three-phase signal setting the instantaneous values of phase currents of the stator. © 2022 IEEE.

An original technology for locating instantaneous phases of reflected seismic pulses is proposed. In order to construct high resolution seismic images the technology uses statistical radio-engineering methods for solving problems of optimal reflected pulses reception. Based on detecting and locating reflected seismic pulses phases the technology allows constructing wave lineups even in conditions of low quality field material. The technology allows reliably determining location of several phase reference marks for the same reflected seismic pulse that improves possibilities for tracing reflected waves lineups. Increasing the number of reflected seismic pulses, revealed on seismic traces, increases the number of wave lineups on gather that increase resolution of temporal section. The achieved high resolution of the temporal section contributes to solving further problem on determination of earth medium depth structure, i.e. on construction of higher resolution seismic images of depth sections. Such images ensure reliable determination of closely located reflecting horizons. The proposed locating technology has number of advantages compared with known seismic images constructing technologies because it does not use procedures distorting complex spectrum of received signals.

The problem of estimating the amplification factor of the channel of force loading of the bench for strength tests of aircraft structures is considered. The solution of this problem may allow in the future automating the process of setting up regulators for electric hydraulic valves of the stand and thereby accelerate the process of carrying out fatigue and strength tests. In this paper, it is proposed to use the harmonic analysis of the signal from the load force sensor and the control signal at the input of the electrohydraulic distributor to estimate the gain of the force loading channel. In this paper, it has been shown that on the basis of this analysis an estimate of the gain of the power loading channel of the bench can be obtained. The results of application of the proposed approach on an experimental stand are presented. Finally, the proposed approach was compared with another approach based on the least squares method with sliding window.

The Mongolian university of Science and Technology collects information (data) related to teaching methods and learning environment using a brief questionnaire from each student each semester. The data collected via questionnaires should be used for analysis of education activities, as well as development of policy level measures directed to improve education quality and teaching methods. However, as was observed by teachers, there is still an insufficiency in development of collected data and actions taken based on the results. In order to conduct comparative study within the framework of this issue, one module was taught by the same teacher (Theoretical mechanics 2) and other three different subjects (Mathematics 1, Information Technology 1, Theoretical Mechanics 1) were chosen, which are selected by most of the students, and ultimately processed the results with the use of the SURE model of structure-based evaluation. In this article, a total of 66681 evaluation data were provided by students who completed general education courses, professional foundation courses and other specialized courses at three schools (School of Industrial Technology, School of Mechanical engineering and Transportation, School of Information and Telecommunication Technology) under the MUST, and these data were processed with the use of evaluation model mentioned above and the results were compared with the outcomes of previous study. © 2021 IEEE.
