Intertidal mudflats are among the most productive coastal ecosystems, largely because of the activity of the photosynthetic microbial community on the sediment surface, known as microphytobenthos (MPB). While the dynamics of MPB have been extensively studied in temperate estuaries, there is limited research in tropical estuaries. To address this knowledge gap, we investigated the spatio-temporal dynamics of MPB in the Nicoya Gulf (Costa Rica), one of the world's most productive tropical estuaries, using Sentinel-2 images at 10 m spatial resolution from 2018 to 2022. We used Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) values ranging from 0 to 0.4 to monitor MPB cover and growth rates (µNDVI, days-1). Analysis of data using Generalized Additive Models (GAM) showed that up to 62% of the temporal variability in average MPB NDVI, peaking in late wet and early dry seasons (November-December), can be explained by years and months. The high temperatures and irradiance during the dry season (December to April) in the Nicoya estuary may inhibit MPB growth, contrasting with patterns observed in temperate estuaries. We observed higher MPB NDVI in the upper intertidal zone (mean sea level > 0.5 m) as usually occurs in temperate estuaries. This research highlights the importance of high-resolution satellite imagery for long-term monitoring of MPB dynamics in tropical tidal flats, crucial for accurate evaluation of global carbon cycling and ecosystem services. © 2024, The Authors. The article discusses one of the aspects of digitalization of education, in terms of digitalization of the educational process itself. The methodology of creating a personal information space of a teacher is presented. The form of this space is a teaching site with teaching materials. A method for structuring methodological content is proposed. The methodology of posting structured content on a WordPress blog is described. A method for creating media content for special disciplines of technical areas of training is considered. The analysis of educational video content presented on the Internet is carried out. A step-by-step methodology for creating a video lesson in the Camtasia Studio program based on the Power Point presentation is described. There is an example of its application, successfully implemented in the educational process.

The present can be safely called the era of the revolutionary transformation of the educational system. This is very difficult process. It is accompanied by the creation of a huge number of interrelated documents. Each document has a large number of repetitions of the same information. The result is a structured document, formed taking into account all standards. And its design takes the minimum time from a teacher. Since the organization of this process can be organized as follows. The teacher fills in the input forms and submits them to the member of the project team. He does all the routine work. Thus, an automated system for creating a work program will free the teacher from routine. He will be able to devote more time to improving his skills and creative work with students.

A core source of raw information used as inputs to the reputation systems of online services is the feedback ratings provided by users. However, it is impossible that all users rate services with the same criteria and so ratings of different users are incommensurable. Meanwhile, users are not necessarily willing to provide honest feedbacks. Thus, aggregating dishonest cardinal ratings into reputation will potentially lead to unreliable and misleading reputation. In this paper, we propose a reputation model that aggregates ordinal user preferences rather than cardinal ratings for online services with user incentive. A distance metric is defined to measure the discrepancy between ordinal preferences. Then an optimal reputation model with the attributes of incentive compatible and individually rational is proposed. We design a B&B algorithm to solve the optimization problem so that a reputation vector that maximizes the total value of all users can be found efficiently. A comprehensive experimental study and performance analysis are conducted to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed method.

We have considered the design of electric arc plasma installation, called plasmatron, with a vertical working chamber, enable the production of high-temperature plasma during the combustion of the plasma gas passing through the electric arc. The plasma torch is designed for utilization of carbon-containing wastes and slurries of processing industries. Famous electric arc plasma systems have some disadvantages, the main of which are the complexity of the design and the complexity of regulating the performance of the installation that produces plasma. The peculiarity of the proposed plasma torch is the effect of an external electromagnetic field on the arc. This allows the arc to be pulled out and out of the tubular housing. The equation describing the arc current change in dynamic modes is given. The experimental electric arc installation for plasma generation is considered, the results of experiments are analyzed. The role of the control and information-measuring system to ensure the normal operation of the installation is shown. © 2019 IEEE.

Working with an electric arc plasmatron, the technological process provides for the ignition of an electric arc. To simplify and accelerate the process of an electric arc ignition in a direct current electric arc plasmatron, a circuit solution based on a high-voltage electronic ignition system with an independent power source is proposed. The proposed scheme allows the formation of high-voltage high-frequency pulses in the arc interval. The proposed electrical complex provides reliable ignition and maintenance of stable combustion in all possible modes of operation of the electric arc plasmatron. Various ignition systems, an electric arc in an atmospheric environment are considered, as well as using plasma-forming gases.

At present, there are many researches on automatic code generation methods based on machine learning. However, there is no analysis on automatic code generation tools based on machine learning. According to the role of existing code generation tools based on machine learning in practical development, this paper proposes the content and the method of analysis of automatic code generation tools based on machine learning. Based on the presented method, the corresponding analysis plug-ins API4ACGT are implemented. Finally, three existing automatic code generation tools based on machine learning are used to generate specific codes in two programming environments. The experimental results show that the proposed method and analysis plug-ins API4ACGT are effective. © 2019 IEEE.

Under cloud computing environment, cloud computing systems often have abnormalities due to the diversity of applications and the dynamic deployment environment. Collecting node performance data is very valuable for anomaly detection. There are many nodes under cloud computing environment. Many related studies only make abnormal judgments based on the status of single node. However, the state of multi-nodes is not judged. In this paper, a method of nodes anomaly judgment (NAJ method) based on agent under cloud environment is proposed. The collected data are analyzed by using agent technology. Firstly, data conversion technology is used for constructing a unified format for data analysis. Secondly, the detection model is trained and the degree of data anomalies is analyzed through unsupervised learning method. Finally, differences between anomalous nodes and other nodes are detected. The experimental results show that the method can judge the anomaly nodes effectively. © 2019 IEEE.
