Kinesin nanomotor is a tiny vehicle that transports molecular cargoes within the cells. Many kinesin nanomotors can attach to a single cargo and coordinate their behaviors to transport the cargo. This behavioral coordination of kinesin nanomotors can be defined through a communicational language that kinesin nanomotors follow to transport the cargo. This paper proposes a computational language for kinesin nanomotor which is inspired by the nanomotor's natural behavior. In this technique, we have used behavioral Deterministic Finite Automaton (DFA) model of kinesin nanomotor which indicated internal intelligent and autonomous decision-making process of the nanomotor in response to its cell. In addition, the behavioral responses of kinesin nanomotor to its cell, behavioral DFA model of the nanomotor, were mapped to a computational regular language for the nanomotor. The proposed computational language for kinesin nanomotor was acceptable by the behavioral DFA model and also in good agreement with the natural behavior of the nanomotor. The development of such computational languages among intelligent and autonomous nanoparticles in nature paves the way for constructing potential bio-inspired nanorobotic systems as well as designing of some computational languages for their controlling.

Ultrasound scanning system is a non ionizing technique for breast mammography. Unfortunately, ultrasound has not approved by FDA as a screening tool yet due to the lack of spatial resolution and high operator dependent. Therefore, the quality of imaging depends on the operator technique and experience. The purpose of this project is to develop an automated 2D motion system for ultrasound scanning designed for breast cancer patient. The scanning was performed by automated movement of a transducer during image acquisition. Therefore, the automated motion system needs a very high precision of position control system which integrated with a microcontroller and two appropriate distance sensors on each axis. Besides, graphical user interface has been designed to interface between the microcontroller and personal computer. The control method for the automated motion system can achieve a resolution of 2mm. This is used to replace the conventional handholding ultrasound probe and to increase the spatial resolution of ultrasound.

The current ultrasound therapy machines are implementing continuous waveform, which in fact, is not an optimum technique for therapy treatment process. Apparently, pulse waveform appearing as a more effectively way of signal generation in terms of its power consumption, low cost hardware and short timing used. In order to overcome these drawbacks of conventional therapy machines, we proposed a programmable pulse generator for pulse waveform production with high frequency more than 1MHz through Cyclone 2 Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) development board. The generator is developed with maximum controllable 10 number of burst and clock frequency 50MHz. Register Transfer Level designs with Very-High-Speed Integrated Circuit Hardware Description Language (VHDL) coding are also implemented throughout this project. Pin assignment was used to assign the pin connection in FPGA for linkage of input and output data of FPGA. The result of generated waveforms were observed using oscilloscope. Based on the findings, the developed programmable FPGA is able to produce high frequency signal effectively and accurately.
