This article discusses the concept of a laboratory model of the power supply system of Smart House technology, which will be powered from DC mains. The relevance of this development, its main advantages, functionality are analyzed. With the help of calculations the loads to be consumed are found. According to the found values of power selected energy sources, electricity storage devices, controllers to control intelligent devices of the Smart House. The selected electrical devices are collected into a single chain and power the electrical devices of the building. Taking into account the selected devices, a conceptual laboratory diagram of the power supply, on the basis of which it will be possible to carry out electrical wiring in new private houses or to implement in already built ones, is constructed. The functions and advantages of the implementation are also described. © 2022 IEEE.

The design of a three-band, belonging to the Industrial, Scientific, and Medical band, microstrip antenna for 2.45 GHz, 4.6 GHz, and 5.8 GHz usable for radio-frequency (RF) energy harvesting applications is investigated in this work. The developed design used a hexagonal patch printed on a Rogers RT-Duroid 5880 substrate of thickness 1.57 mm and a relative permittivity equal to 2.2 with a truncated ground plane using the defected ground structure technique. The width of the band of the constructed antenna (for return loss less than -10 dB) is 140.10 MHz at 2.45 GHz, 116.80 MHz at 4.6 GHz, and 164.50 MHz at 5.8 GHz. The antenna has satisfactory gain values of 5.59 dBi, 3.44 dBi, and 3.86 dBi at the corresponding three resonating frequencies. The antenna has satisfactory radiation efficiency values of 97%, 89%, and 85% at the desired three operating frequencies. This antenna is designed and simulated using CST-MWS (computer Simulation Technology Microwave Studio) and HFSS (High Frequency Structure Simulator). In light of these results, this proposed antenna design is more suitable for various wireless power transmission applications particularly rectenna systems. © 2024 IEEE.

The paper raises the problem of strengthening a practice-oriented approach to the modeling process and using the results of modeling technical objects using the example of electromechanical converters based on an asynchronous electric motor. For the synthesis of a generalized algorithm for modeling a technical object, a multi-criteria system analysis of registered software systems designed to simulate an electromechanical converter based on an asynchronous motor was carried out. The functionality of software systems and the applied software is analyzed. Based on the criterion of functionality and practice orientation, a generalized algorithm for modeling a technical object is constructed and this algorithm is concretized for modeling an electromechanical converter based on an asynchronous electric motor. The fundamental difference of the proposed generalized algorithm is the combination of mathematical and visual modeling. Thus, the optimal use of the capabilities of modern information technologies is achieved both for the implementation of the most reliable mathematical models and for obtaining a visual representation of the object due to augmented reality technology © 2022 IEEE.

This article considers the possibility of creating an intelligent digital laboratory of relay protection and automation on the basis of the university. Descriptive characteristic of microprocessor blocks is given. Functional capabilities of each individual unit are analyzed, as well as their interconnected operation. The arguments in favor of introducing a digital laboratory in the educational process are given. The necessary structural diagram, which visually displays the model of digital laboratory of intelligent relay protection and automation with the elements of digital substation is presented. © 2022 IEEE.

This article presents a method for analyzing a time series of electricity consumption using Independent Component Analysis (ICA). With this method, it is possible to automatically identify and extract factors influencing electricity consumption individually and study their relationships on the daily consumption curve using profiles computed in parallel using ICA. ICA splits this profile into a group of components without losing representativeness of the data, providing a deeper understanding of electricity consumption to facilitate modeling and forecasting. © 2022 IEEE.

Medical Visual Question Answering (Med-VQA) aims at answering clinical questions related to medical imaging, providing important reference for medical imaging diagnosis. Gastrointestinal visual question answering can deeply understand and analyze gastrointestinal medical images, provides supporting information to answer questions about the diagnostic process, and improves diagnostic accuracy and efficiency. However, most existing Med-VQA can only handle simple and general questions, struggling to tackle visual question answering related to complex diseases. Therefore, this paper proposes a Med-VQA model called CACL, which uses cross-guidance and improved combined loss. The model focuses on gastrointestinal image analysis and achieves efficient and accurate feature extraction for gastrointestinal images. A cross-guided attention module is also designed to enhance the model's reasoning ability when dealing with complex cross-modal tasks. In addition, a multi-task composite loss function is designed to balance the loss of segmentation task and classification task, and improve the overall performance. Experimental results show that the proposed method can effectively improve the accuracy of gastrointestinal visual question answering. © 2024 IEEE.

In response to the challenge of comprehensively security assessment and analysis in existing mobile networks from both upper-layer services and network transmission levels, A SDN-based security assessment model for transmission and service security in mobile networks (SAMTS) is proposed. This model introduces security assessment algorithms, in which static configuration information and dynamic abnormal information are considered comprehensively to judge the trend and the risk degree of attack when evaluating the security of network nodes. Meanwhile, the node importance of service orientation and transmission is integrated for security evaluation. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulation and comparison experiments, demonstrating its higher evaluation accuracy compared with similar algorithms. © 2023 IEEE.

Reinforcement learning (RL) has emerged as a pivotal technology for autonomous driving, providing a framework where an agent learns optimal decision-making through environment interaction without pre-defined labels. This review focuses on the application of RL in autonomous driving systems, exploring key concepts such as value-based methods, policy-based methods, and actor-critic methods within the context of Markov decision processes (MDPs) and partially observable Markov decision processes (POMDPs). We discuss the integration of these methods in navigating the complex, dynamic environments encountered in autonomous driving, addressing challenges in perception, sensing, decision-making, and control. Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) are becoming increasingly popular on a global level and have a promising perspective towards a sustainable and environmental-friendly future in the transportation sector. This paper makes use of cognitive mobility elements and suggests a theoretical approach in that intercommunication of these elements creates a better distribution of BEVs in need of charge. The paper is organized as follows: Sect. 1 presents the existing literature and Sect. 2 briefly introduces the evolution of the charging infrastructure pointing out the existence of highly targeted charging areas and the infrastructure they lack. Section 3 suggests an innovative short-term approach for reducing charging waiting time done by identification of the most frequented charging stations and development of a payment-based booking interface system. Eventually, an AI-based approach is presented, which has the potential to optimize route algorithms by considering traffic circumstances, availability of charging stations and user preferences. Abstract: The main objective of this work is to enhance the performance of the Photovoltaic water pumping system to cover the water requirement in rural areas. To do so, it is important to make sure that the PV array produces its maximum power at all times, which can be influenced by external condition (mainly the temperature and irradiation). Hence, we are employing the Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System based MPPT in two ways. The ANFIS controller is considered more accurate and efficient as it uses an artificial neural network to learn from training data and generate fuzzy rules based on that data. Both approaches of ANFIS are used to control the duty cycle of the SEPIC converter, which connects the PV panel to the DC motor feeding the water pump. The system combining the PV panel, the SEPIC converter, the controller and the DC motor, is designed and simulated under MATLAB/Simulink.
