Many different methods are used for generating blackbox test case suites. Test case minimization is used for reducing the feasible test case suite size in order to minimize the cost of testing while ensuring maximum fault detection. This paper presents an optimization of the existing test case minimization algorithm based on forward-propagation of the cause-effect graphing method. The algorithm performs test case prioritization based on test case strength, a newly introduced test case selection metric. The optimized version of the minimization algorithm was evaluated by using thirteen different examples from the available literature. In cases where the existing algorithm did not generate the minimum test case subsets, significant improvements of test effect coverage metric values were achieved. Test effect coverage metric values were not improved only in cases where maximum optimization was already achieved by using the existing algorithm. © 2023 IEEE.

Tuberculosis (TB) has been known as the top two murdering disease worldwide after HIV/AIDS. Indonesia is the second country with the highest number of tuberculosis. One of the reasons for the high number of cases is that the microscopic sputum smear image analysis process takes a long time. This study compares the detection and counting of bacilli images using classical image processing and deep learning to ascertain the performance of both methods. Steps in classical image processing consist of RGB to HSV converting, HSV thresholding, morphological operation and bacilli counting. YOLOv5 is used as deep learning method in this research to detect and count bacilli. While classical image processing accuracy is 59.59%, YOLOv5 can achieve 86.09% which is better than the previous research. By comparing classical image processing methods and deep learning, it is evident that deep learning techniques can detect and count overlapping bacilli. This result can be further improved by increasing the learning dataset especially the severe TB patient. © 2024 ACM.

Fruit flies are a major threat faced by snake fruit farmers. Fruit flies can degrade the quality of snake fruits and reduce the overall yield. Traps stuffed with Methyl Eugenol are commonly placed across snake fruit plantations to attract fruit flies. Farmers then manually counted and reported the trapped fruit flies as part of their pest management strategies. However, manually counting trapped fruit flies is time-consuming, leading to unwillingness among farmers to perform this task. This study aims to develop an automated detection and counting system using deep-learning-based methods to address this issue. The proposed system was built on a modified YOLOv5 algorithm, achieving a precision of 0.944, recall of 0.947, and mAP of 0.946, with an object-counting time of only 50 ms. These results demonstrate that the proposed fruit-fly detection and counting system offers excellent performance with rapid detection times ©2024 IEEE.

The network switches in the data plane of Software Defined Networking (SDN) are empowered by an elementary process, in which enormous number of packets which resemble big volumes of data are classified into specific flows by matching them against a set of dynamic rules. This basic process accelerates the processing of data, so that instead of processing singular packets repeatedly, corresponding actions are performed on corresponding flows of packets. In this paper, first, we address limitations on a typical packet classification algorithm like Tuple Space Search (TSS). Then, we present a set of different scenarios to parallelize it on different parallel processing platforms, including Graphics Processing Units (GPUs), clusters of Central Processing Units (CPUs), and hybrid clusters. Experimental results show that the hybrid cluster provides the best platform for parallelizing packet classification algorithms, which promises the average throughput rate of 4.2 Million packets per second (Mpps). That is, the hybrid cluster produced by the integration of Compute Unified Device Architecture (CUDA), Message Passing Interface (MPI), and OpenMP programming model could classify 0.24 million packets per second more than the GPU cluster scheme. Such a packet classifier satisfies the required processing speed in the programmable network systems that would be used to communicate big medical data.

There has been a considerable increase in the use of drones,or unmanned aerial vehicles(UAVs),in recent times,for a wide variety of purposes such as security,surveillance,delivery,search and rescue operations,penetration of inaccessible or unsafe areas,*** increasing number of drones working in an area poses a challenge to finding a suitable charging or resting station for each drone after completing its task or when it goes low on its *** classical methodology followed by drones is to return to their pre-assigned charging station every time it requires a *** approach is found to be inefficient as it leads to an unnecessary waste of time as well as power,which could be easily saved if the drone is allotted a nearby charging station that is ***,we propose a drone-allocation model based on a preference matching algorithm where the drones will be allotted the nearest available station to land if the station is *** problem is modeled as three entities:Drones,system controllers and charging *** matching algorithm was then used to design a Drone-Station Matching *** simulation results of our proposed model showed that there would be considerably less power consumption and more time saving over the conventional *** would save its travel time and power and ensure more efficient use of the drone.

With the emergence of deep learning, Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models have been proposed to advance the progress of various applications, including face recognition, object detection, pattern recognition, and number plate recognition. The utilization of CNNs in these areas has considerably improved security and surveillance capabilities by providing automated recognition solutions, such as traffic surveillance, access control devices, biometric security systems, and attendance systems. However, there is still room for improvement in this field. This paper discusses several classic CNN models, such as LeNet-5, AlexNet, VGGNet, GoogLeNet, and ResNet, as well as lightweight models for mobile-based applications, such as MobileNet, ShuffleNet, and EfficientNet. Additionally, deep CNN-based face recognition models, such as DeepFace, DeepID, FaceNet, and SphereFace, are explored, along with their architectural characteristics, advantages, disadvantages, and recognition accuracy. The results indicate that many scholars are researching lightweight face recognition, but applying it to mobile devices is impractical due to high computational costs. Furthermore, noise label learning is not robust in actual scenarios, and unlabeled face learning is expensive in manual labeling. Finally, this paper concludes with a discussion of the current problems faced by face recognition technology and its potential future directions for development. © 2023 by the authors of this article. Prior study has developed the RouteSegmentation algorithm to identify the perimeter area surrounding a route. In this study, a comparative experiment was carried out to investigate the performance of the RouteSegmentation algorithm implementation in contrast to the RouteBoxer algorithm. Both algorithms play a crucial role in geographical information systems (GIS), particularly in enhancing navigational tools by identifying points of interest along specified routes. Through systematic experimentation using various perimeter distance values and types of route, the trade-offs between processing efficiency and the granularity of the area identified by these algorithms were evaluated. The results demonstrate that RouteSegmentation maintained relatively consistent performance across different perimeter distance values and statistically significantly faster processing time than RouteBoxer. Furthermore, while the RouteBoxer algorithm benefits from larger perimeter distance values by reducing processing time, it compromises the coverage results of the algorithm and potentially undermines its usefulness in practical scenarios. This study not only provides insights into the optimal use of perimeter distance values for each algorithm but also guides users in selecting the appropriate algorithm based on their specific application needs, balancing detailed geographical analysis and runtime efficiency. © 2024 IEEE.

Pilot vehicle interfaces on aircraft, similar to the automobile digital displays found in automobiles, are used to present the current status of various systems (e.g., navigation, engine information). Aircraft interfaces exhibit deterministic behavior due to safety concerns, ensuring that user input yields predictable outputs. Consequently, integrating text-based pattern recognition or artificial neural network based solutions to aircraft systems are challenging because of their deterministic nature. In this paper, an approach complementary to the existing user interface models is proposed. This approach is based on learning recurring user interactions during flight. It utilizes text-based pattern recognition and prediction models based on user interaction logs and sensor readings. Test results on sample data suggest that the proposed approach yields faster and context-aware user interaction model that decreases the time needed to perform tasks in the aircraft cockpit, where timing is crucial. © 2023 IEEE.

This research focuses on the review of Fintech and its development on the IoT Platform and also the risks that can be posed to the IoT network used. In this research, it is comprehensively discussed how methods are carried out in the process of securing data, Cryptocurrency, Bitcoin, and Ethereum are comprehensively discussed to get a lot of data and comparisons and the right steps to deal with crime via the internet. Accurately predicting the Remaining Useful Life(RUL)of lithium-ion batteries is crucial for battery management *** learning-based methods have been shown to be effective in predicting RUL by leveraging battery capacity time series ***,the representation learning of features such as long-distance sequence dependencies and mutations in capacity time series still needs to be *** address this challenge,this paper proposes a novel deep learning model,the MLP-Mixer and Mixture of Expert(MMMe)model,for RUL *** MMMe model leverages the Gated Recurrent Unit and Multi-Head Attention mechanism to encode the sequential data of battery capacity to capture the temporal features and a re-zero MLP-Mixer model to capture the high-level ***,we devise an ensemble predictor based on a Mixture-of-Experts(MoE)architecture to generate reliable RUL *** experimental results on public datasets demonstrate that our proposed model significantly outperforms other existing methods,providing more reliable and precise RUL predictions while also accurately tracking the capacity degradation *** code and dataset are available at the website of github.
