To ensure the security of image information and facilitate efficient management in the cloud, the utilization of reversible data hiding in encrypted images (RDHEI) has emerged as pivotal. However, most existing RDHEI schemes suffer from lower security and limited embedding capacity. To tackle these challenges, we propose a reversible data hiding with secret encrypted image sharing and adaptive coding scheme. Specifically, in the encryption phase, we introduce an improved secret sharing (SS) encryption method based on the chinese remainder theorem for polynomials (CRTP). This method not only improves the security of encrypted images but also vacates a larger room for embedding. In the embedding phase, we introduce an adaptive coding embedding approach using XOR preservation (XORP) and huffman coding, which provides high embedding capacity. Experimental results and security analysis demonstrate that our proposed encryption method achieves optimal values in security indicators for encrypted images, such as information entropy, histograms, NPCR and UACI. The proposed embedding method is superior to some state-of-the-art schemes in terms of embedding capacity. Furthermore, in datasets BOSSBase and BOWS2, the average embedding rates of the proposed embedding approach can reach 2.1745 bpp and 2.0656 bpp, respectively. © 2025 IEEE.

Sonars are used by SAR teams to identify and retrieve submerged objects like cars and planes. In the event of extensive searches, where sonar operators may become fatigued and overlook the possible item, strategies for the programmable characterisation or identification of the object may be invaluable. Current sonar technology may be used for more than just navigation;it can also be used to locate fish, townships, and create maps of the ocean floor. The power of the transmitter, the quality of the transducer, the sensitivity of the collector, and the design of the acoustic correspondence are the four key aspects that affect the appearance of a sonar system. While current sonar frameworks have limited functionality-such as a two-layered screen and a view of less than 360 degrees of the surrounding environment improved sonar frameworks with a three-layered screen, joined to new PC frameworks, and a 360-degree view of the surrounding environment are on the horizon. Companies now face substantial challenges while attempting oceanic research and inspections. To keep up with the requirements of current maritime businesses, better underwater devices and more precise estimations are always being created and modified. © 2022 IEEE.

In today's modern world, IoT plays an important and multifaceted function in all industries. 5th Generation Wireless Systems - 5G is the primary technical platform on which the Internet of Things plays a major role in smart technologies. Incorporating 5G technology into the architecture of an IoT system is now simple. Using plug-and-play technology, remote access to configuration and control is possible. Smart technology always results in faster data transfer rates, more bandwidth, greater capacity, lower latency, and a quicker output response. Based on this notion, IoT brings about a dramatic shift in heterogeneous networks. So, there is a need to implement 5G-IoT technologies. In the age of the Internet of Things, the fifth-generation (5G) cellular networks give the smart and complex technical environment. 5G Cellular Networks offer great growth potential for IoT technologies. This article gives a thorough study of the role of 5G Cellular Networks in the expansion of IoT technologies across all industries. Since the inclusion of renewable energy emerges as a new trend in the digital world, 5G is very beneficial in the age of the Internet of Things. To achieve the link between 'Things and People,' 'Things and Things,' and 'People and People' in power Systems, it is necessary to combine IoT with 5G in power systems to a high degree of success in various power-based industry-based systems. This article demonstrates a smart scenario and provides a thorough analysis of "how 5G drives the IoT System intelligently in every way and how IoT affects as the "most promising technology" with this smart 5G Wireless Communication System." In addition, the IoT era 5G application possibilities were demonstrated.

A flexible-grid 1×(2×3)mode-and wavelength-selective switch which comprises counter-tapered couplers and silicon microring resonators has been proposed,optimized,and demonstrated experimentally in this *** carefully thermally tuning phase shifters and silicon microring resonators,mode and wavelength signals can be independently and flexibly conveyed to any one of the output ports,and different bandwidths can be generated as *** particle swarm optimization algorithm and finite difference time-domain method are employed to optimize structural parameters of the twomode(de)multiplexer and crossing *** bandwidth-tunable wavelength-selective optical router composed of12 microring resonators is studied by taking advantage of the transfer matrix *** results show that,for the fabricated module,cross talk less than-10.18 dB,an extinction ratio larger than 17.41 d B,an in-band ripple lower than0.79 dB,and a 3-dB bandwidth changing from 0.38 to 1.05 nm are obtained,as the wavelength-channel spacing is 0.40 *** corresponding response time is measured to be 13.64μs.

Road accidents have increased with the increase in the vehicle population. There are several studies and research that focus on detecting road accidents. High-performance traffic accident detection systems are becoming ever more necessary because of the rise in traffic accidents. A vehicle accident detection system is developed in this study using the deep learning technique. A customized convolutional neural network is used for this study. The model uses pre-trained customized convolutional models for feature extractions from the images. In this research work a customized base model along with six custom hybrid models such as DenseNet-121, InceptionV3, Xception, MobileNetV2, VGG16 and ResNet-50 is used. The hybridized models use a standalone feature extractor module which uses transfer learning technique for feature extraction. The features from all the training images are extracted using the above six hybrid models. The selected features are then input to the customized base Deep Neural Network architecture. The model is tested using random Google images after being trained on a custom dataset. The performance of all the models were tested using the parameters Precision, Recall, Specificity, F1 Score along with Accuracy. It was found that the custom hybridized Resnet-50 showed the maximum performance compared with the other models in terms of accuracy.

This study presents a comprehensive study on smart home automation systems utilizing Internet of Things (IoT) sensor technology to achieve efficient energy conservation. The proposed system integrates ZigBee and WiFi communication protocols for effective and reliable connectivity across various smart devices within a home. Through the deployment of interconnected sensors and intelligent controllers, the system allows real-time monitoring and management of household energy usage, optimizing energy consumption and reducing waste. The combination of ZigBee for low-power, long-range sensor networks and WiFi for high-speed data transmission enables seamless interaction between smart appliances, lighting, heating, and cooling systems. Proposesd approach offers a scalable, cost-effective solution for enhancing home automation with an emphasis on energy conservation and sustainability. Also discussed the implementation, challenges, and future potential of IoT-based smart home systems for improved energy efficiency.

This study aims to investigate the impact of electronic word of mouth (eWOM) on the brand image and purchase intention in the telecommunication sector in Jordan. A quantitative-based approach was used for data collection, and a research model was suggested and tested empirically using a sample of 354 respondents who had experiences with the internet and social media. Measurement items are adopted and modified from existing scales found in the relevant prior studies to fit the study's objectives. Using multiple regression analysis, the findings show that eWOM has a positive significant effect on both purchase intention and brand image;the brand image has a significant impact on purchase intention, and eWOM has a fully indirect impact on purchase intention through the brand image as a mediating factor. The current study suggested that telecommunication service providers should wisely and professionally focus on eWOM's favourable contacts to promote a brand image that will later promote the customers' purchase intention. This one-day hybrid workshop builds on previous feminist CSCW workshops to explore feminist theoretical and methodological approaches that have provided us with useful tools to see things differently and make space for change. Since its inception over a decade ago, feminist HCI has progressed from the margins to mainstream HCI, with numerous references in the literature. Feminist HCI has also evolved to incorporate other critical HCI practices such as Queer HCI, participatory design, and speculative design. While feminist approaches have grown in popularity and become mainstream, it is getting more difficult to distinguish the feminist emancipatory core from other attempts of developing and improving society in various ways. In this workshop, we therefore want to revisit our feminist roots, where theory is a liberatory and creative practice, motivated by affect, curiosity, and wonder. From this standpoint, we consider which of our feminist tools can make a significant difference today, in a highly datafied world. The goal of this workshop is to;1) create an inventory of feminist theories and concepts that have had an impact on our work as designers, educators, researchers, and activists;2) develop a feminist toolbox for the CSCW community to strengthen our feminist literacy. © 2023 Owner/Author.

The Internet of Spatial Things (IoST), continuously generates a large volume of geospatial data from a large number of connected smart devices. Cloud computing is inefficient to respond to IoST because of latency concern. Fog computing allows geospatial data processing as well as geospatial storage close to IoST devices and addresses this concern. This fog computing-based GIS model i.e. FogGIS is assisting to the cloud for invoking various geospatial web services. In many scenarios the service requests arrive to the fog layer and waits in a queue due to the current workload of fog servers. When all the Virtual Machines (VMs) are congested (busy), the arrived tasks are queued in the fog buffer until the fog servers becomes available to process the service. This creates the possibilities of task reneging or dropping. Reneged or dropped tasks could be resubmitted if the tasks were not dropped due to security reasons. In this paper, it experiments the performance of the fog layer based on the task arrival and the buffer size of the system using M/M/c/N Queuing theory. It also offers numerical illustrations to demonstrate the application of task reneging and feedback on the parameters such as queuing delay, probability of immediate service as well as probability of task rejection. © 2021 IEEE.
