This study aims to optimize popular Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) models, such as ResNet50, InceptionV4, VGG19, MobileNetV1, MobileNetV2, MobileNetV3 Small, and MobileNetV3 Large, by utilizing the CLAHE (Contrast Limited Adaptive Histogram Equalization) parameter. This research focuses on the problem of classifying retinal fundus images, which have challenges in analyzing the structure and features of the picture. This study compared the performance of CNN models, which were optimized using the CLAHE method as image pre-processing. The fundus retinal image data used is a publicly available dataset. The optimization process is done by changing the parameters in the CNN model and applying the CLAHE technique to improve image quality before the classification process. The results showed that using the CLAHE parameter significantly contributed to improving the performance of the CNN model in classifying retinal fundus images. Some CNN models optimized with CLAHE produce better accuracy than the unoptimized models. There are also variations in performance between the different models, with some models providing better results in classifying retinal fundus images. This study provides new insights regarding using CLAHE parameters in optimizing the CNN model for retinal fundus image classification problems. The results of this research can be the basis for further development in medical image processing and pattern recognition for more accurate and practical diagnostic applications. © 2023 IEEE.

Along with the development of social media, there are various abuses and deviations from the ethics of interaction by its users. One form of social media abuse is cyberbullying. Recently, cyberbullying has become more frequent and these events are still difficult to detect. Therefore, researchers conducted an analysis of cyberbullying on Twitter social media using the Support Vector Machine (SVM). The data used is the crawled data of Twitter in Indonesian. This is included in non-linear data so it requires the kernel to carry out the text mining process. However, to date there has been no specific research on what kernels are good to use in cases of cyberbullying. Therefore, researchers conducted an experiment to implement SVM on tweet classification. The researchers will also look for the best kernels among the four kernels, namely Polynomial, Radial Basis Function (RBF), Sigmoid, and Linear. From the results of the experiments conducted, the SVM method can be used for the classification of cyberbullying. In addition, it is known that the sigmoid kernel has the highest accuracy of 83.85%. © 2022 IEEE.

Today,due to the pandemic of COVID-19 the entire world is facing a serious health *** to the World Health Organization(WHO),people in public places should wear a face mask to control the rapid transmission of *** governmental bodies of different countries imposed that wearing a face mask is compulsory in public ***,it is very difficult to manually monitor people in overcrowded *** research focuses on providing a solution to enforce one of the important preventative measures of COVID-19 in public places,by presenting an automated system that automatically localizes masked and unmasked human faces within an image or video of an area which assist in this outbreak of *** paper demonstrates a transfer learning approach with the Faster-RCNN model to detect faces that are masked or *** proposed framework is built by fine-tuning the state-of-the-art deep learning model,Faster-RCNN,and has been validated on a publicly available dataset named Face Mask Dataset(FMD)and achieving the highest average precision(AP)of 81%and highest average Recall(AR)of 84%.This shows the strong robustness and capabilities of the Faster-RCNN model to detect individuals with masked and un-masked ***,this work applies to real-time and can be implemented in any public service area.

During the current COVID-19 pandemic, older people are encouraged to use information, communication and technology in their everyday lives and discouraged from physical interactions. In Malaysia, it shows that implementing the Movement Control Order (MCO) to control the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic saw a shift in consumer trends, prompting businesses to explore new strategies to interact with consumers. But there is no study indicating the contributions of older people in this new business environment. Several complaints were reported regarding the usability, acceptability, and suitability of these applications for the elderly. The objectives of this study: (1) to investigate issues and challenges on older citizens in current software design quality;(2) To identify current practises on software usage amongst the older citizens, especially in e-commerce and e-business applications;and (3) To propose a model a software design quality that meets older people requirements, limitations, and expectations. The rapid advancement of 5G Radio Access Network (RAN) architecture is facilitating the construction of 5G networks, marking a significant milestone in telecommunications evolution. Given the complexity of the 5G core architecture, traditional simulation methods are insufficient, necessitating novel approaches. Emulator systems are crucial for creating dynamic, controlled environments that enable exploration of real-world scenarios without physical constraints. SEMU5G, a 5G core emulator, SDN controller, and RAN simulator, utilizes Open5GS implemented in Docker Container for test system flexibility and isolation. Additionally, an SDN controller is integrated to monitor data flows in the User Plane Function (UPF) and gNB simulated by UERANSIM in Mininet-WiFi. This comprehensive integration facilitates effective and flexible real-world exploration, providing a dynamic and controlled test environment for 5G core research. Scenario testing comprises two stages: firstly, a fixed network topology is employed to compare resource usage and confirm successful SEMU5G integration. Secondly, a mobile network topology is utilized to implement a mobile device scenario and compare the Quality of Service (QoS) of SEMU5G with other available emulators. These stages ensure thorough evaluation of SEMU5G's performance and its comparative advantage over existing solutions. © 2024 IEEE.

Teaching is a process that requires permanent observation and improvement. With the rapid development of e-learning, there was a need to review, improve and optimize the process of evaluating students’ performance. The main objective of this study is to develop and implement the procedure for automatized generation of assessment tests. For this purpose, the proposed solution includes the application of a genetic algorithm. The procedure is developed on a sample of 29 existing test cases of "Internet programming" course. The optimization resulted in better selection and reduced number of questions used for evaluation of students` performance. Oil content estimation in palm fruits is a precious property that significantly impacts oil palm production,starting from the upstream and *** content can be used to monitor the progress of the oil palm fresh fruit bunch(FFB)and be applied to identify product *** on the near-infrared(NIR)signals,this study proposes an empirical mode decomposition(EMD)technique to decompose signals and predict the oil content of palm ***,350 palm fruits with Tenera varieties(Elaeis guineensis ***),at various ages of maturity,were harvested from the Cikabayan Oil Palm Plantation(IPB University,Indonesia).Second,each sample was sent directly to the laboratory for NIR signal measurements and oil content ***,the EMD analysis and arti-ficial neural network(ANN)were employed to correlate the NIR signals and oil ***,a robust EMD-ANN model is generated by optimizing the lowest possible *** on performance evaluation,the proposed technique can predict oil content with a coefficient of determination(R2)of 0.933±0.015 and a root mean squared error(RMSE)of 1.446±*** results demonstrate that the model has a good predictive capacity and has the potential to predict the oil content of palm fruits directly,without neither solvents nor reagents,which makes it environmentally ***,the proposed technique has a promising potential to be applied in the oil palm *** like this will lead to the effective and efficient management of oil palm production.

Enterprise Architecture (EA) is a solution to build alignment between business strategy and information technology in dealing with digital transformation that causes fundamental changes for companies and businesses. The purpose of this study is to examine the trends and progress of EA in responding to the challenges of the digital transformation era, which is carried out through SLRs using the PRISMA method. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder with an increasing prevalence among the elderly, making early and accurate diagnosis critical for effective intervention and management. This paper introduces an end-to-end machine learning pipeline optimized for detecting AD using multimodal data from the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI). The study proposes an ensemble model that integrates key modalities-demographics, cognitive scores, neuropsychological assessments, and MRI data-via early fusion to enhance AD detection. Various machine learning models, including Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, AdaBoost, XGBoost, Support Vector Machine, and Neural Networks, are compared, and feature selection is optimized through Recursive Feature Elimination, ANOVA F-value, and mutual information methods, with mutual information showing the most efficacy. With further hyperparameter tuning, the highest accuracy is achieved at 95.85%, with Gradient Boosting as the top-performing model. Additional experiments assess and evaluate individual modality contributions, underscoring the predictive value of cognitive scores and neuropsychological features. To enhance clinical interpretability, we incorporate model explainability using LIME and SHAP, which identify key features influencing model predictions across different AD stages. Explainable AI (XAI) is essential in healthcare for providing transparency and supporting clinician confidence by highlighting which biomarkers, such as MMSE, CDRSB, and PTAU, contribute most to diagnostic outcomes. This study demonstrates classical machine learning's potential in AD diagnostics, offering a pathway to cost-effective and clinically viable models for neurodegenerative disease management.
