A Sparse Optimization Approach for Beyond 5G mmWave Massive MIMO Networks

Millimeter-Wave(mmWave)Massive MIMO is one of the most effective technology for the fifth-generation(5G)wireless *** improves both the spectral and energy efficiency by utilizing the 30–300 GHz millimeter-wave bandwidth and a large number of antennas at the base ***,increasing the number of antennas requires a large number of radio frequency(RF)chains which results in high power *** order to reduce the RF chain’s energy,cost and provide desirable quality-ofservice(QoS)to the subscribers,this paper proposes an energy-efficient hybrid precoding algorithm formm Wave massive MIMO networks based on the idea of RF chains *** sparse digital precoding problem is generated by utilizing the analog precoding ***,it is jointly solved through iterative fractional programming and successive convex optimization(SCA)*** results show that the proposed scheme outperforms the existing schemes and effectively improves the system performance under different operating conditions.

Complex networks on the Internet of Things(IoT)and brain communication are the main focus of this *** benefits of complex networks may be applicable in the future research directions of 6G,photonic,IoT,brain,etc.,communication *** data traffic,huge capacity,minimal level of dynamic latency,*** some of the future requirements in 5G+and 6G communication *** emerging communication,technologies such as 5G+/6G-based photonic sensor communication and complex networks play an important role in improving future requirements of IoT and brain *** this paper,the state of the complex system considered as a complex network(the connection between the brain cells,neurons,etc.)needs measurement for analyzing the functions of the neurons during brain ***,we measure the state of the complex system through *** 5G+/6G-based photonic sensor nodes,finding observability influenced by the concept of contraction provides the stability of *** IoT or any sensors fail to measure the state of the connectivity in the 5G+or 6G communication due to external noise and attacks,some information about the sensor nodes during the communication will be ***,neurons considered sing the complex networks concept neuron sensors in the brain lose communication and ***,affected sensor nodes in a contraction are equivalent to compensate for maintaining stability *** this compensation,loss of observability depends on the contraction size which is a key factor for employing a complex *** analyze the observability recovery,we can use a contraction detection algorithm with complex network *** survey paper shows that contraction size will allow us to improve the performance of brain communication,stability of neurons,etc.,through the clustering coefficient considered in the contraction detection *** addition,we discuss the scalability of IoT communication using 5G+/6G

Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs) have revolutionized the field of computer vision, offering significant advancements in image and video recognition, classification, and segmentation tasks. Leveraging hierarchical pattern recognition capabilities, CNNs have demonstrated superior performance over traditional machine learning methods. One particularly critical application of CNNs is in motion direction detection, which is essential for enhancing security in surveillance systems, ensuring safe navigation in autonomous vehicles, and providing valuable insights in sports analytics. In this study, our primary goal was to investigate how different types of input data impact the accuracy of motion direction detection. We applied five distinct preprocessing methods to test the effect of input data on accuracy. Furthermore, we conducted experiments in various object and background scenarios to evaluate adaptability of simple 4-layer CNN, EfficientNetBO and ResNet50 in detecting motion direction. Finally, we tested the noise resistance of these three models. The results indicate that CNNs are capable of extracting the macroscopic motion direction of objects in images. Our study highlights the potential of CNN-based models for efficient and effective motion direction detection. © 2024 IEEE.

Water loss from fruit and vegetable production is mostly caused by leakage in the transportation system and handling of land, as well as by using traditional processing techniques. In order to increase the wellness of plants, save power, and optimize consumption of water, information should be widely applied in designing intelligent irrigation systems, which is possible with the help of the Internet of Things (IoT). In the given paper, an IoT-based soft computing recommendation framework is proposed for performing irrigation in a smarter way. The system works in such a way that IoT devices are positioned in the field to gather information about crops and groundwater levels. The acquired data is then fed to a cloud repository, which makes use of soft computing techniques such as neural networks for analysing and providing effective recommendations to farmers on their smartphones. In this way, the framework is tuned and the farmers are also updated from time to time regarding judicious irrigation processes. Lastly, the performance of the proposed system is validated against traditional techniques by taking crop datasets into consideration. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

This study comprehensively analyzes the application of innovative deep learning (DL) and machine learning (ML) techniques in smart energy management systems (EMSs), with an emphasis on load forecasting, demand response, and the development of smart energy sectors. The application of various ML and DL models were examined in over 200 studies from 2014 to 2024 in an electrical network's EMS to highlight the key benefits and advances made by each technology for the sustainable management systems in energy sector. The findings emphasize DL and ML models’ enhanced precision and predictive capabilities in load forecasting, their efficacy in enabling efficient demand response mechanisms, and their significance in supporting the development of smart energy sectors. Furthermore, recommendations are made based on the survey results to assist in incorporating these techniques into EMS frameworks, such as investment in data infrastructure, model training and validation, and collaboration between researchers, industry experts, and policymakers. The study also discusses the limitations identified in the literature, such as limited real-world implementations, challenges regarding quality and data availability, and the need for enhanced ML and DL model interpretability. Addressing these limitations can assist in increasing the application and efficacy of ML and DL techniques in EMSs, enabling a more efficient and sustainable energy landscape. Finally, this study facilitates researchers' exploration of ML and DL in energy management, highlighting relevant limitations, strengths, and alternative approaches associated with sustainable energy management. It also indicates potential future research directions for further investigation. © The Author(s) 2025.

Step response method is a method for detection of foreign metal objects in the proximity of the transmitter coil in WPT system. It is based on a measurement of the resonant frequency of the transmitter's LC tank. As such, it can be used on the fly, while the wireless power transfer takes place, and it should have low impact on WPT system performance. This paper discusses drawbacks of the step response method with respect to required modifications of the transmitter and receiver circuits, and also the impact it has on the DC power supply through increased inrush currents. The discussion is verified through measurements on the built prototype with implemented step response method. © 2022 Croatian Society MIPRO.

Shock detection finds its application in the transport and storage of products in the supply chain as a measurable indicator of the product's condition. The level of damage done after the shock occurrence in the supply chain depends on various factors, one of which is the angle of impact. A challenge when detecting a packet shock occurs if the impact angle is not known, and it is not possible to assess whether the packet fell at a sharp or a slight angle, which affects the level of damage. This paper presents an estimation of the package damage after shock occurrence based on measured accelerometer values. An algorithm for roll and pitch angles calculation is presented to estimate the impact angle of the package. Depending on the measured shock values and the impact angle, the assessment of package conditions during the transport and storage of the product is possible. © 2022 IEEE.

Comfy Shell is an open-source protocol used for many years to comfy community logins and communication over the net. It is primarily based on public key cryptography and is well known for being one of the maximum cozy strategies of authentication and communication. It is now being explored as a Wi-Fi network security device for defensive information transmitted over WiFi networks, including those typically determined in cafes, airports, and other public locations. Its safety capabilities, which include robust authentication and encryption, make it an excellent desire to securely access assets, shift information, and connect to far-off structures. Moreover, it can be used as a digital private network (VPN) to safely establish connections between two or extra computers in a public community. At the same time as SSH is properly-appropriate for relaxed far-off connections, it can be configured to provide additional ranges of authentication and encryption to ensure the WiFi network's safety from malicious assaults. This paper will explore the capability of SSH as a Wi-Fi network safety tool, discuss diverse implementations, and focus on the particular components of using SSH as a security device for WiFi networks. © 2024 IEEE.

On the Internet of Things (IoT) era, specialized applications are highly demanded to solve real-life problems. We apply Haversine Formula in our proposed notification system and GPS position tracking method and choose daycare as our experimental object. The aim is to create a system that automatically connects teachers in daycare and parents when they are picked up. It allows teachers to track parents' location on the maps. This system is built using an Android-based application called 'Child Pick Up (CPU)' with the login page being the first page that will appear when logging into the application. There is an option to sign up for a new parent account on this page. Then, the daycare teacher can verify the account. 'CPU' application can send two notifications, when parents press the pickup button and when parents are less than 100 m from daycare. Based on the testing and analysis in this research, it can be concluded that the system can track a parent's location based on GPS position. The average distance when the second notification appears on the teacher's smartphone in daycare is 87.22 m. The pickup and arrival time is recorded on Firebase. © 2022 IEEE.
