Europe, with all its common sights, has an enviable wealth of history and cultural heritage. With its many monuments, sites, traditions, history, art, and culture, it has always attracted curious views and tells centuries-old stories to many tourists and visitors. At the heart of Europe, Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), founded in the 11th century, with its picturesque past, has always been at the crossroads of faith and civilizations. The key audience of tourism in BiH are nature lovers, adventurers and young and digital nomads, who represent great potential for the development of this sector given their nature of work, to be able to work from any location, and during the COVID-19 period. Furthermore, the importance of the diaspora for the development of tourism in BiH goes beyond tourist visits and helps BiH on its path to digital transformation. Digital tourism refers to how we use digital tools to organize, manage and even enjoy the travel experience. It uses all of the tools of digital transformation to change how we travel and experience different sites. Through digitalization, we want to reach every individual who passes through this country and further attract lovers of European history and culture, offer them a different, more creative, and innovative approach to learning about the cultural and historical treasures it hides. The goal of digital tourism is to raise awareness of the importance of cultural heritage, provide new opportunities for visitors and bring new knowledge. Therefore, this paper provides an overview of the possibilities of digital representations of the medieval historical period of BiH through identified pillars of digital reconstruction, and ways to connect the movable cultural heritage residing in the museums with real sites in an attempt to contribute to its promotion through digital tourism. © 2022 Copyright for this paper by its authors.

DDFAD: Dataset Distillation Framework for Audio Data

Deep neural networks (DNNs) have achieved significant success in numerous applications. The remarkable performance of DNNs is largely attributed to the availability of massive, high-quality training datasets. However, processing such massive training data requires huge computational and storage resources. Dataset distillation is a promising solution to this problem, offering the capability to compress a large dataset into a smaller distilled dataset. The model trained on the distilled dataset can achieve comparable performance to the model trained on the whole dataset. While dataset distillation has been demonstrated in image data, none have explored dataset distillation for audio data. In this work, for the first time, we propose a Dataset Distillation Framework for Audio Data (DDFAD). Specifically, we first propose the Fused Differential MFCC (FD-MFCC) as extracted features for audio data. After that, the FD-MFCC is distilled through the matching training trajectory distillation method. Finally, we propose an audio signal reconstruction algorithm based on the Griffin-Lim Algorithm to reconstruct the audio signal from the distilled FD-MFCC. Extensive experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of DDFAD on various audio datasets. In addition, we show that DDFAD has promising application prospects in many applications, such as continual learning and neural architecture search. Copyright © 2024, The Authors. With the rapid proliferation of Internet of Things (IoT) devices and the ever-increasing volume of sensor data, optimizing resource utilization has become crucial for building sustainable and efficient IoT systems. In this study, we propose a novel approach for optimizing resource utilization in Green IoT through efficient storage and retrieval in vector databases. Our approach leverages specialized data structures, including k-d trees and ball trees, to achieve improved storage efficiency and accelerated retrieval performance for high-dimensional sensor data. We conducted extensive experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of our proposal, comparing it with traditional database approaches. The results demonstrate significant improvements in storage efficiency, with vector databases requiring considerably less storage space compared to traditional databases. Moreover, our approach enables fast and accurate retrieval of high-dimensional sensor data, reducing query times and enhancing real-time data analysis and decision-making capabilities. The technical achievements of our proposal offer promising prospects for the development of sustainable and efficient IoT systems in various domains, such as environmental monitoring, healthcare, and smart cities. Our work contributes to advancing the field of Green IoT by addressing the challenges of resource utilization and query performance through efficient storage and retrieval in vector databases. © 2023 IEEE.

In this research, we evaluate medical case retrieval for AD on the bases of descriptors generated by combining different modalities (Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) markers, Fluorodeoxy-glucose Positron Emission Tomography (FDG-PET) based measures. Cerebrospinal Fluid (CSF) protein levels, and Apolipoprotein-E (APOE) genotype and age as risk factors). We investigated whether they would provide complementary information aiming to improve medical case retrieval for AD. According to the obtained results, we concluded that this approach outperformed the retrieval results in the current reported research by gaining MAP value of 0.98 yet providing an efficient medical case retrieval for AD and keeping low dimensional feature vector. © 2023 by SCITEPRESS – science and Technology Publications, Lda.

Logic function decomposition is critical to logic synthesis. In this paper, we propose an integrated logic function decomposition flow, which consists of disjoint support decomposition, exact synthesis, Shannon decomposition, and the recently proposed majority-of-three (MAJ) decomposition. Through this process, the logic function can be decomposed into any directed acyclic graph (DAG). An experimental evaluation shows that our algorithm leads to better XOR-majority graphs (XMGs) compared to state-of-the-art algorithms. Our experiments show that the proposed method achieves an average of 5% and 6% reduction in the lookup tables (LUTs) size/depth product applied to the EPFL arithmetic and random control benchmarks after LUT mapping, respectively. © 2023 IEEE.

This systematic review provides a comprehensive overview of the methods used to integrate genomic and clinical data in cancer prediction. The review includes 19 studies across various cancers, including breast, colorectal, melanoma, lung, pancreatic, and thyroid. The studies employed different methods to combine genomic and clinical data, including weighted polygenic risk scores, genetic and non-genetic risk scores, and different machine learning algorithms. The results show significant improvements in model prediction performance accuracy across multiple studies. The review highlights the potential benefits of integrating genetic and phenotypic information to improve disease risk prediction models and inform personalized healthcare strategies. © 2024 IEEE.

The use of sensors in smart vehicles brings benefits and vulnerabilities. Different kinds of sensors in smart vehicles are vulnerable to cyber-attack. Until now, the investigation of challenges and solutions for in-vehicle cybersecurity hasn't discussed various sensor objects and their correlation. In this study, we studied the cyber security problems of sensors in smart vehicles and how to overcome them. The research was designed as Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using the Kitchenham methodology with modification in the filtering phase using the artificial intelligence application, Elicit, to identify the problems, conclusions, and methodology description. Seventeen publications from 2016 until 2023 were gained from five databases. As a result, we find that the most discussed object related to cybersecurity sensors on smart vehicles are Electronic Control Units. Spoofing and jamming is still the most addressed threat, and machine learning is the most utilized solution to be implemented in detection systems. Advanced detection systems are incorporating updated attack models. We also suggest using updated attack models and machine learning algorithms to ensure the safety and security of smart vehicle technology. All identified sensor technology correlated using mind maps under the Intelligent Transport System theory. © 2023 IEEE.

Many patients have begun to use mobile applications to handle different health needs because they can better access high-speed Internet and *** devices and mobile applications are now increasingly used and integrated through the medical Internet of Things(mIoT).mIoT is an important part of the digital transformation of healthcare,because it can introduce new business models and allow efficiency improvements,cost control and improve patient *** the mIoT system,when migrating from traditional medical services to electronic medical services,patient protection and privacy are the priorities of each ***,it is recommended to use different user authentication and authorization methods to improve security and *** this paper,our prosed model involves a shared identity verification process with different situations in the e-health *** aim to reduce the strict and formal specification of the joint key authentication *** use the AVISPA tool to verify through the wellknown HLPSL specification language to develop user authentication and smart card use cases in a user-friendly *** model has economic and strategic advantages for healthcare organizations and healthcare *** medical staff can increase their knowledge and ability to analyze medical data more *** model can continuously track health indicators to automatically manage treatments and monitor health data in real ***,it can help customers prevent chronic diseases with the enhanced cognitive functions *** necessity for efficient identity verification in e-health care is even more crucial for cognitive mitigation because we increasingly rely on mIoT systems.
