A Mobile Ad hoc Network(MANET)is a group of low-power con-sumption of wireless mobile nodes that conﬁgure a wireless network without the assistance of any existing infrastructure/centralized *** primary aim of MANETs is to extendﬂexibility into the self-directed,mobile,and wireless domain,in which a cluster of autonomous nodes forms a MANET routing *** Intrusion Detection System(IDS)is a tool that examines a network for mal-icious behavior/policy violations.A network monitoring system is often used to report/gather any suspicious attacks/*** IDS is a software program or hardware system that monitors network/security trafﬁc for malicious attacks,sending out alerts whenever it detects malicious *** impact of Dynamic Source Routing(DSR)in MANETs challenging blackhole attack is investigated in this research *** Cluster Trust Adaptive Acknowledgement(CTAA)method is used to identify unauthorised and malfunctioning nodes in a MANET *** system is active and provides successful delivery of a data packet,which implements Kalman Filters(KF)to anticipate node ***,KF is used to eliminate synchronisation errors that arise during the sending and receiving *** order to provide an energy-efﬁcient solution and to minimize network trafﬁc,route optimization in MANET by using Multi-Objective Particle Swarm Optimization(MOPSO)technique to determine the optimal num-ber of clustered MANET along with energy dissipation in *** to the researchﬁndings,the proposed CTAA-MPSO achieves a Packet Delivery Ratio(PDR)of 3.3%.In MANET,the PDR of CTAA-MPSO improves CTAA-PSO by 3.5%at 30%malware.

Internet of Things (IoT) is the future of communication technology and its applications range from smart cities, health, transport to agriculture among others. Embedded systems, networks, sensors, devices, communication protocols and software applications contribute to enable connectivity between devices located at the network boundary. Edge computing enables data processing on devices with limited hardware capabilities. software engineering practices could be applied in the development of IoT systems to ensure applications are reliable and operate efficiently. However, there are no proper guidelines about which best software engineering practices might be applied to IoT systems. The main contribution of this study is to investigate the application of software design pattern in an IoT environment in terms of resource and power consumption of battery-powered Edge devices. Two variations of the Singleton design pattern have been implemented in an IoT computing scenario. Experiments demonstrate that the Singleton design pattern can reduce processor, memory, power and battery usage of the device by an average of 0.3%, 0.1%, 0.7% and 0.8% respectively. © 2022 IEEE.

Changing a person’s posture and low resolution are the key challenges for person re-identification(ReID)in various deep learning *** this paper,we introduce an innovative architecture using a dual attention network that includes an attentionmodule and a joint measurement module of spatial-temporal *** proposed approach can be classified into two main ***,the spatial attention feature map is formed by aggregating features in the spatial ***,the same operation is carried out on the channel dimension to formchannel attention ***,the receptive field size is adjusted adaptively tomitigate the changing person posture ***,we use a joint measurement method for the spatial-temporal information to fully harness the data,and it can also naturally integrate the information into the visual features of supervised ReID and hence overcome the low resolution *** experimental results indicate that our proposed algorithm markedly improves the accuracy in addressing changing human postures and low-resolution issues compared with contemporary leading *** proposed method shows superior outcomes on widely recognized benchmarks,which are the Market-1501,MSMT17,and DukeMTMC-reID ***,the proposed algorithmattains a Rank-1 accuracy of 97.4% and 94.9% mAP(mean Average Precision)on the Market-1501 ***,it achieves a 94.2% Rank-1 accuracy and 91.8% mAP on the DukeMTMC-reID dataset.

End-user feedback in social media platforms, particularly in the app stores, is increasing exponentially with each passing day. software researchers and vendors started to mine end-user feedback by proposing text analytics methods and tools to extract useful information for software evolution and maintenance. In addition, research shows that positive feedback and high-star app ratings attract more users and increase downloads. However, it emerged in the fake review market, where software vendors started incorporating fake reviews against their corresponding applications to improve overall software ratings. For this purpose, we conducted an exploratory study to understand how end-users register and write fake reviews in the Google Play Store. We curated a research data set containing 68,000 end-user comments from the Google Play Store and a fake review generator, that is, the Testimonial generator (TG). Its purpose is to understand fake reviews on these platforms and identify the common patterns potential end-users and professionals use to report fake reviews by critically analyzing the end-user feedback. We conducted a detailed survey at the University of Science and Technology Bannu, Pakistan, to identify the intelligence and accuracy of crowd-users in manually identifying fake reviews. In addition, we developed a ground truth to be compared with the results obtained from the automated machine and deep learning (M&DL) classifier experiment. In the survey, 512 end-users participated and recorded their responses in identifying fake reviews. Finally, various M&DL classifiers are employed to classify and identify end-user reviews into real and fake to automate the process. Unlike humans, the M&DL classifiers performed well in automatically classifying reviews into real and fake by obtaining much higher accuracy, precision, recall, and f-measures. Customer reviews on online platforms have grown to become an important source of insight into a company's performance. Food delivery services (FDS) companies aim to effectively use customers' feedback to identify areas for improvement of customer satisfaction. Although Arabic is becoming one of the most widely used languages on the Internet, only a few studies have focused on Arabic sentiment analysis to date. The present study conducts an extensive emotion mining and sentiment analysis on FDS-related reviews in Arabic, exploiting natural language processing, and machine learning techniques to extract information that reflects customers' subjective viewpoints, recognize their feelings, and determine polarity in the FDS domain. This work begins with collecting the FDS dataset (Talabat), and then extracting and creating a dialects lexicon for Arabic dialects, followed by walking the reader through detailed steps of cleaning and pre-processing a manually annotated dataset. Finally, we examined classification algorithms including Decision Tree (DT), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). We achieved a maximum accuracy of about 82% using the SVM classifier. © 2023 IEEE.

This study investigates the effectiveness of Retrieval-based Voice Conversion (RVC) in detecting AI-generated Arabic speech across diverse linguistic contexts. The primary research questions address whether the RVC model can accurately differentiate between real and synthetic speech samples in various languages and its generalization capability across different linguistic contexts. Experimental evaluations show that the model achieves accuracies of 92% using Ensemble Learning (XGBoost and LightGBM), 93% with Meta Learning, and 90% with Neural Networks. Assessments encompass scenarios with real Arabic and English speech not included in training datasets, as well as different speakers across languages. The study contributes insights into the robustness and practical application of RVC for speech authentication. © 2024 IEEE.
