Background—Human Gait Recognition(HGR)is an approach based on biometric and is being widely used for *** is adopted by researchers for the past several *** factors are there that affect the system performance such as the walking variation due to clothes,a person carrying some luggage,variations in the view ***—In this work,a new method is introduced to overcome different problems of HGR.A hybrid method is proposed or efficient HGR using deep learning and selection of best *** major steps are involved in this work-preprocessing of the video frames,manipulation of the pre-trained CNN model VGG-16 for the computation of the features,removing redundant features extracted from the CNN model,and *** the reduction of irrelevant features Principal Score and Kurtosis based approach is proposed named *** that,the features of PSbK are fused in one ***,this fused vector is fed to the One against All Multi Support Vector Machine(OAMSVM)classifier for the final ***—The system is evaluated by utilizing the CASIA B database and six angles 00◦,18◦,36◦,54◦,72◦,and 90◦are used and attained the accuracy of 95.80%,96.0%,95.90%,96.20%,95.60%,and 95.50%,***—The comparison with recent methods show the proposed method work better.

Background: This paper examines the use of augmented reality (AR) as a concept-association tool in schools, with the aim of enhancing primary school students' learning outcomes and engagement. Conflicting findings exist in previous studies regarding the cognitive load of AR-enriched learning, with some reporting reduced load and others indicating increased demand and poorer performance. Understanding these implications is essential for effectively leveraging AR in education. The study offers a fresh perspective on the potential of AR technology in improving educational experiences. Objectives: The primary goal of this research was to evaluate the effectiveness of an AR-assisted concept-association strategy for improving essential knowledge acquisition and skills outcomes, increasing cognitive load, and increasing self-efficacy and learning motivation among primary school students. Methods: A quasi-experimental design with a control group was employed to investigate the effectiveness of the intervention. Results and Conclusions: The results demonstrate that the implementation of the AR-assisted concept-association strategy effectively enhanced essential knowledge acquisition and skills outcomes, increased cognitive load, and increased self-efficacy and learning motivation among primary school students. These findings highlight the potential of AR technology to improve the learning experience and engagement of primary school students. The study contributes to the existing literature on the effectiveness of AR technology in education, suggesting future research directions. Ultimately, it offers a practical solution for improving the learning experience by presenting a new approach for teaching using AR technology. © 2024 John Wiley & Sons Ltd.

Developing successful software with no defects is one of the main goals of software *** order to provide a software project with the anticipated software quality,the prediction of software defects plays a vital *** learning,and particularly deep learning,have been advocated for predicting software defects,however both suffer from inadequate accuracy,overfitting,and complicated *** this paper,we aim to address such issues in predicting software *** propose a novel structure of 1-Dimensional Convolutional Neural Network(1D-CNN),a deep learning architecture to extract useful knowledge,identifying and modelling the knowledge in the data sequence,reduce overfitting,and finally,predict whether the units of code are defects *** design large-scale empirical studies to reveal the proposed model’s effectiveness by comparing four established traditional machine learning baseline models and four state-of-the-art baselines in software defect prediction based on the NASA *** experimental results demonstrate that in terms of f-measure,an optimal and modest 1DCNN with a dropout layer outperforms baseline and state-of-the-art models by 66.79%and 23.88%,respectively,in ways that minimize overfitting and improving prediction performance for software *** to the results,1D-CNN seems to be successful in predicting software defects and may be applied and adopted for a practical problem in software ***,in turn,could lead to saving software development resources and producing more reliable software.

Achieving a high level of quality in the AV industry involves understanding the complexity of the production cycle with the constant challenges of applying appropriate standards. The need for compliance based on relevant certificates implies the creation of an environment of trust between manufacturers, component suppliers, and end customers. Research should sublimate the most current standards from various fields related to data protection, security, system sustainability, environmental management, financial sustainability, and business transparency. The success of a complex parts supply system is impossible without a stable approach to IT security. The control of production processes sometimes involves using non-standardized techniques, and one of the applicable ones is work-in-progress (WIP), which describes the use of partially finished raw materials in the stages of obtaining final products. Key points and the contribution of the current study are in getting a better overview of the situation within this area related to standards and the financial problems that can arise due to a lack of understanding of standards compliance. Increasing satisfaction of customers is the most important goal for any institution. Therefore, customer relationship management (CRM) is founded for this purpose to keep track of the interaction between the organization and their customers to satisfy them and to guarantee their loyalty. In this paper, we introduce a layered architecture model for customer relationship management in Education domain. This model integrates educational domain ontology and service-oriented architecture to improve the business processes and hence to increase the customer satisfaction in the educational institutions. The model design is presented in detail for a huge Egyptian educational institution called the Education City. The paper presents a workflow design for customer relationship management describing the interaction among stakeholders to achieve the different business processes in the Education City. As well as, a detailed ontology design for the Education City is presented to describe and to visualize the different scenarios for the services provided by the Education City. According to the requirement of recognizing traffic police gestures for driver assistance systems and intelligent vehicles, a universal model for dynamic traffic police gesture recognition is firstly introduced, of which can accurately present the spatial context (such as the relative lengths of skeletons, the angles between each skeleton w. r. t. gravity, and part features) of the traffic police gestures. Secondly, an architecture which can respectively extract spatial context and temporal features of dynamic traffic police gesture is proposed. Meanwhile, deep neural network and LSTM are introduced to build a high-resolution traffic police gestures recognizer (namely HRTPGR). At last, the open Police Gesture Dataset is used to train and test TPGR, and the experimental results show that the TPGR achieves a state-of-the-art accuracy with 98.7% for dynamic traffic police gestures recognition, and has strong anti-interference ability to light, background and gesture shape changes. © 2023 IEEE.

Medical notes contain valuable information about patient conditions, treatments, and progress. Extracting symptoms from these unstructured notes is crucial for clinical research, population health analysis, and decision support systems. Traditional manual methods are time-consuming, but recent advances in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning offer automated solutions. This article presents a novel approach that combines NLP techniques, such as conditional random fields (CRF) and transformer-based architectures. The proposed method demonstrates effective symptom extraction from medical notes, overcoming challenges such as varied terminologies and linguistic nuances. The study utilizes a dataset of Russian medical records, transforming it into a tabular format for training and employing unique tokenization algorithms for different models. Among the evaluated models, RuBERT achieved the highest accuracy of 91%, indicating its strong performance on the test dataset. SBERT exhibited the highest precision and F1 score, suggesting its effectiveness in accurately identifying specific sequence labels.

The most valuable resource on the planet is no longer oil,but *** transmission of this data securely over the internet is another challenge that comes with its ever-increasing *** order to transmit sensitive information securely,researchers are combining robust cryptography and steganographic *** objective of this research is to introduce a more secure method of video steganography by using Deoxyribonucleic acid(DNA)for embedding encrypted data and an intelligent frame selection algorithm to improve video *** the previous approach,DNA was used only for frame *** this DNA is compromised,then our frames with the hidden and unencrypted data will be *** the frame selected in this way were random frames,and no consideration was made to the contents of *** data in this way introduces visible artifacts in *** the proposed approach rather than using DNA for frame selection we have created a fakeDNA out of our data and then embedded it in a video file on intelligently selected frames called the complex *** chaotic maps and linear congruential generators,a unique pixel set is selected each time only from the identified complex frames,and encrypted data is embedded in these random *** results demonstrate that the proposed technique shows minimum degradation of the stenographic video hence reducing the very first chances of visual ***,the selection of complex frames for embedding and creation of a fake DNA as proposed in this research have higher peak signal-to-noise ratio(PSNR)and reduced mean squared error(MSE)values that indicate improved *** proposed methodology has been implemented in Matlab.

Maternal health is among the greatest challenges in the world, especially in rural areas as there lack medical practitioners, they do not have easily accessible publics clinics and transport is difficult. Therefore, high rates of maternal as well as infant morbidity and mortalities are recorded. This research utilizes Artificial Intelligence (AI) with machine learning algorithms to forecast and address maternal health hazards right at their onset stage. The current research utilizes the concept of AI along with many Machine Learning (ML) methods like the Ensemble Learning Model (ELM), Random Forest (RF), K-Nearest Neighbour (KNN), Decision-Tree (DT), XG-Boost (XGB), Cat Boost (CB), and Gradient Boosting (GB), along with Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) algorithm used for dealing with the problem class imbalance within the data set. SMOTE algorithm is utilized for the dataset balancing process. The handling system involves refining data preprocessing with the help of feature engineering and robust data cleaning which makes sure that anomalies do not erode the reliability of the predictive model. The existing methods [1] used RF (90%), DT (87%), XGB (85%), CB (86%), and GB (81%) algorithms and were compared with the accuracies of the proposed models like Logistic Regression (LR), Ensemble Learning Bagging (ELB), Ensemble Learning Stacking (ELS), Convolutional Neural Network (CNN), Recurrent Neural Network (RNN), Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM), and Gated Recurrent Unit (GRU). The existing methods used only imbalance dataset. The accuracies of the proposed models with using SMOTE algorithm (balanced dataset) are LR (61.33%), KNN (81%), ELB (92.33%), ELS (90.66%) CNN (40.67%), RNN (59.67%), LSTM (54%), GRU (56%) respectively. Among these methods, ELB achieved 92.33% of accuracy with using SMOTE algorithm using imbalanced dataset. Whereas the accuracies of the proposed models without using SMOTE algorithm (imbalanced dataset) are LR (66.09%), KNN (68.47%)
