The rapid development and usage of digital technologies in modern intelligent systems and applications bring critical challenges on data security and privacy. It is essential to allow cross-organizational data sharing to achieve smart service provisioning, while preventing unauthorized access and data leak to ensure end users' efficient and secure collaborations. Federated Learning (FL) offers a promising pathway to enable innovative collaboration across multiple organizations. However, more stringent security policies are needed to ensure authenticity of participating entities, safeguard data during communication, and prevent malicious activities. In this paper, we propose a Decentralized Federated Graph Learning (FGL) with Lightweight Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) model, named DFGL-LZTA, to provide context-aware security with dynamic defense policy update, while maintaining computational and communication efficiency in resource-constrained environments, for highly distributed and heterogeneous systems in next-generation networking. Specifically, with a re-designed lightweight ZTA, which leverages adaptive privacy preservation and reputation-based aggregation together to tackle multi-level security threats (e.g., data-level, model-level, and identity-level attacks), a Proximal Policy Optimization (PPO) based Deep Reinforcement Learning (DRL) agent is introduced to enable the real-time and adaptive security policy update and optimization based on contextual features. A hierarchical Graph Attention Network (GAT) mechanism is then improved and applied to facilitate the dynamic subgraph learning in local training with a layer-wise architecture, while a so-called sparse global aggregation scheme is developed to balance the communication efficiency and model robustness in a P2P manner. White blood cells (WBC) or leukocytes are a vital component ofthe blood which forms the immune system, which is accountable to fightforeign elements. The WBC images can be exposed to different data analysisapproaches which categorize different kinds of WBC. Conventionally, laboratorytests are carried out to determine the kind of WBC which is erroneousand time consuming. Recently, deep learning (DL) models can be employedfor automated investigation of WBC images in short duration. Therefore,this paper introduces an Aquila Optimizer with Transfer Learning basedAutomated White Blood Cells Classification (AOTL-WBCC) technique. Thepresented AOTL-WBCC model executes data normalization and data augmentationprocess (rotation and zooming) at the initial stage. In addition,the residual network (ResNet) approach was used for feature extraction inwhich the initial hyperparameter values of the ResNet model are tuned by theuse of AO algorithm. Finally, Bayesian neural network (BNN) classificationtechnique has been implied for the identification of WBC images into distinctclasses. The experimental validation of the AOTL-WBCC methodology isperformed with the help of Kaggle dataset. The experimental results foundthat the AOTL-WBCC model has outperformed other techniques which arebased on image processing and manual feature engineering approaches underdifferent dimensions.

Smart city-aspiring urban areas should have a number of necessary elements in place to achieve the intended *** controlling and management of traffic conditions,increased safety and surveillance,and enhanced incident avoidance and management should be top priorities in smart city *** the same time,Vehicle License Plate Number Recognition(VLPNR)has become a hot research topic,owing to several real-time applications like automated toll fee processing,traffic law enforcement,private space access control,and road traffic *** VLPNR is a computer vision-based technique which is employed in the recognition of automobiles based on vehicle number *** current research paper presents an effective Deep Learning(DL)-based VLPNR called DLVLPNR model to identify and recognize the alphanumeric characters present in license *** proposed model involves two main stages namely,license plate detection and Tesseract-based character *** detection of alphanumeric characters present in license plate takes place with the help of fast RCNN with Inception V2 ***,the characters in the detected number plate are extracted using Tesseract Optical Character Recognition(OCR)*** performance of DL-VLPNR model was tested in this paper using two benchmark databases,and the experimental outcome established the superior performance of the model compared to other methods.

The spread of the COVID-19 virus is challenging society to provide medical care to a growing number of patients in the hospital. It is important to determine the patient from whom an urgent appeal was received earlier and to automate the creation of the calls’ queue. Determining the direction of the sound source, which is the patient’s voice, can be realized using the passive acoustic location method. In this case, it is necessary to place sound sensors in the wards with patients. In such a case, these sensors it is expedient to build in the lighting equipment executed in the shape of Platonic polyhedra. The microcontroller system, located inside such a spatial structure, ensures the transmission of sound to a server computer system. The above system alternately records the receipt of urgent appeals, analyzes the location of the sound source, and sends the relevant data to the doctor’s smartphone. The mobile application visualizes information about the location of the patients who need consultation or help. The proposed solution for intelligent analysis of voice appeals by inpatients may also be useful for post-stroke, post-infarction, and other bedridden patients who are unable to call medical staff otherwise than a voice. © 2023 River Publishers.

This research paper focuses on increasing the awareness between taxi users and can help to protect themselves in COVID-19 and take precautions. Since 2019 the global pandemic of Covid-19 is spreading at an astonishing rate and causes a negative impact for economic, social, and cultural factors. Government agencies are warning people to reduce the transportation and to maintain social distance. To stop the spread of COVID-19 required to identify persons who are susceptible to infection and need to trace the COVID-19 positive first contacts. Most people are reduced to using public transportations and taxi services due to unidentifiable health conditions in earlier users. The proposed approach can be used to track the taxi drivers and their passengers previous COVID-19 status as well as navigate the safest route by showing the COVID-19 contamination areas. By using this approach users can be aware of earlier users of the taxi service and COVID-19 status of the taxi driver or passenger before taking the trip as well as if they get touch with any COVID-19 patients, can take immediate precautions. This application helps to increase the usage of taxis by making users trust and confidence against COVID-19 infection. By testing with real users our system was able to trace down 45 passengers and 16 drivers within 3 months. © 2022 IEEE.

Background: One of the state-of-the-art techniques for question answering frameworks is using linked data by converting the user input into SPARQL which is the query language for linked data. Objective: The main target is to emphasize the most fundamental issues while developing a question answering frameworks that accept input in natural language and converting it into SPARQL. Methods: The trend of applying linked data as a data source is gaining popularity among the re-searchers. In this study, question answering frameworks that combine both natural language processing techniques and linked data technologies are examined. Common principles of examined question answering frameworks recognize user intention, enriching natural language input and converting it to a SPARQL query. Results: 9 studies are selected for further examination to be compared by using selection criteria de-fined in the research methodology. Conclusion: Resulting outcomes are represented and compared in detail. In addition to the comparative review of systems, a general architecture of question answering frameworks on the linked data is drawn as an outcome of this study to provide a guideline for the researchers who are studying related research fields. © 2021 Bentham Science Publishers.

This study aims at designing Map Reduce and federated learning-based asthma prediction model for adolescent to provide answers to the problems associated with the existing asthma prediction model for adolescent. This study leveraged on two diverse datasets: the Nigerian Hospital Asthma dataset and the National Survey of Children Health dataset for benchmarking purposes. Symmetrical uncertainty and normalization interaction were employed for feature selection. The model was trained using Federated Artificial Intelligence (AI) Technology Enabler (FATE) and complemented with XGBoost model and one central server for federated algorithm averaging. The study was implemented with python programming language on Google Collaboratory environment. The results of the analysis showed considerable high accuracy of 0.98, precision (0.98%), recall (0.98%) and F1-socre (0.99%) for the asthmatic class and precision of 0.98%, recall of 0.98%, as well as F1-score of 0.99% for the non-asthmatic class. The implemented model was benchmark with the existing asthma prediction models in the literature. Simulated attack was also performed using implemented model with and without Map Reduce. This study concludes that the researchers' model has the potentials to outperform some of the existing machine learning models on asthma prediction in adolescent, thereby facilitating collaborative sharing of the model with other hospitals, protect the patient information from leakage, meeting the criteria of healthcare data protection regulation as well as beneficial for enhancing the security of the dataset. © 2024 IEEE.

Sleep plays a vital role in optimum working of the brain and the *** people suffer from sleep-oriented illnesses like apnea,insomnia,*** stage classification is a primary process in the quantitative examination of polysomnographic *** stage scoring is mainly based on experts’knowledge which is laborious and time ***,it can be essential to design automated sleep stage classification model using machine learning(ML)and deep learning(DL)*** this view,this study focuses on the design of Competitive Multi-verse Optimization with Deep Learning Based Sleep Stage Classification(CMVODL-SSC)model using Electroencephalogram(EEG)*** proposed CMVODL-SSC model intends to effectively categorize different sleep stages on EEG ***,data pre-processing is performed to convert the actual data into useful ***,a cascaded long short term memory(CLSTM)model is employed to perform classification *** last,the CMVO algorithm is utilized for optimally tuning the hyperparameters involved in the CLSTM *** order to report the enhancements of the CMVODL-SSC model,a wide range of simulations was carried out and the results ensured the better performance of the CMVODL-SSC model with average accuracy of 96.90%.

We present a continuous reciprocal-kind Zhang dynamics (RKZD) model for solving the time-dependent linear matrixvector equation. On the basis of the model, we deduce its simplified form for solving the time-independent linear matrix-vector equation (TILMVE). Subsequently, for more efficient computation and easier implementation in digital hardware, we utilize Euler forward difference formula (EFDF) to discretize the continuous RKZD model, resulting in a discrete RKZD algorithm. Finally, numerical experimental results attest to the feasibility and high effectiveness of the discrete RKZD algorithm for solving TILMVE. Comparisons with the discrete gradient neural network (or termed discrete gradient dynamics), Jacobi iteration, as well as Gauss-Seidel iteration highlight the superior convergence properties of the discrete RKZD algorithm. © 2023 Technical Committee on Control Theory, Chinese Association of Automation.
