This Paper discusses the growing popularity of online medical diagnosis as an alternative to traditional doctor visits. It highlights the limitations of existing tools and emphasizes the advantages of using ChatGPT, which provides real-time, personalized medical diagnosis at no cost. The paragraph summarizes a research study that evaluated the performance of ChatGPT in Arabic medical diagnosis. The study involved compiling a dataset of disease information and generating multiple messages for each disease using different prompting techniques. ChatGPT's performance was assessed by measuring the similarity between its responses and the actual diseases. The results showed promising performance, with average scores of around 76% for similarity measures. Various prompting techniques were used, and chain prompting demonstrated a relative advantage. The study also recorded an average response time of 6.12 seconds for the ChatGPT API, which is considered acceptable but has room for improvement. While ChatGPT cannot replace human doctors entirely, the findings suggest its potential in emergency cases and addressing general medical inquiries. With the massive success of deep networks,there have been signi-cant efforts to analyze cancer diseases,especially skin *** this purpose,this work investigates the capability of deep networks in diagnosing a variety of dermoscopic lesion *** paper aims to develop and ne-tune a deep learning architecture to diagnose different skin cancer grades based on dermatoscopic ***-tuning is a powerful method to obtain enhanced classication results by the customized pre-trained ***,batch normalization,and hyperparameter optimization are performed for ne-tuning the proposed deep *** proposed ne-tuned ResNet50 model successfully classied 7-respective classes of dermoscopic lesions using the publicly available HAM10000 *** developed deep model was compared against two powerful models,i.e.,InceptionV3 and VGG16,using the Dice similarity coefcient(DSC)and the area under the curve(AUC).The evaluation results show that the proposed model achieved higher results than some recent and robust models.

This workshop is designed to intentionally share experiences and connect participants to their greatest asset, their voice. There is power in your voice. Engaging interaction, thought-provoking storytelling, and authentic truth telling will open the way for understanding the value of harnessing voice power when navigating professionally and personally. Despite diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, stated commitments to diversity, the demographic characteristics of the professoriate and industry look remarkably like the faculty and professionals of 50 years ago for Blacks in computing. Blacks in computing constantly face discrimination in the form of microaggressions and white fragility. This discrimination has not translated to greater Black faculty and professional representation in their career advancement. Instead, the health of both faculty and professionals are being adversely impacted, as they are experiencing insomnia, anxiety, depression, emotional distress, and physical exhaustion. This disruption of norms has a negatively impacted the productivity of both Black men and women at work and can lead to their demotion and dismissal. Many times, these struggles are not shared, and their voices are silenced. This workshop primarily addresses how Blacks in computing can use their voice to advance their careers and utilize proven voice positioning strategies to harness their voice power and to maximize professional and personal wellbeing. These voice strategies will facilitate both Black men and women in their career advancement, skill development, and preparation for entry into their next career level. A failure to address these challenges has negative implications for both academia and industry

Recently, WiFi Fingerprinting-based indoor positioning systems have gained significant attention due to the low cost of infrastructure deployment. In the data collection process, a higher density of reference points may lead to better positioning results. However, it makes this process time-consuming and laborious. To solve this problem, this study applies and compares different interpolation methods to enrich the fingerprint database without increasing the cost of the collection process. To evaluate the performance of the chosen methods, five interpolation methods are implemented in a multi-condition WiFi Fingerprinting dataset. Moreover, to check the robustness of the methods, different numbers of reference points are considered when creating the new interpolated fingerprint databases. According to the results, inverse distance weighting (IDW) is the most suitable interpolation method with low complexity and stable performance. The IDW-based database achieves an average interpolation error of less than 6 dBm compared to the original database. When applying this interpolated database to perform positioning tasks, it helps reduce the collection cost by 30% with slightly lower positioning results compared to the original database. This work demonstrates the feasibility of using interpolation to ease the data collection process of WiFi Fingerprinting, especially in complex and big areas such as airports or hospitals. Exploiting the sequential nature of genomic data for improved analysis and identification

Genomic data is growing exponentially, posing new challenges for sequence analysis and classification, particularly for managing and understanding harmful new viruses that may later cause pandemics. Recent genome sequence classification models yield promising performance. However, the majority of them do not consider the sequential arrangement of nucleotides and amino acids, a critical aspect for uncovering their inherent structure and function. To overcome this, we introduce GenoAnaCla, a novel approach for analyzing and classifying genome sequences, based on sequential pattern mining (SPM). The proposed approach first constructs and preprocesses datasets comprising RNA virus genome sequences in three formats: nucleotide, coding region, and protein. Then, to capture sequential features for the analysis and classification of viruses, GenoAnaCla extracts frequent sequential patterns and rules in three forms and in codons. Eight classifiers are utilized, and their effectiveness is assessed by employing a variety of evaluation metrics. A performance comparison demonstrates that the suggested approach surpasses the current state-of-the-art genome sequence classification and detection techniques with a 3.18% performance increase in accuracy on average. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd

Energy is essential to practically all exercises and is imperative for the development of personal ***,valuable energy has been in great demand for many years,especially for using smart homes and structures,as individuals quickly improve their way of life depending on current ***,there is a shortage of energy,as the energy required is higher than that *** new plans are being designed to meet the consumer’s energy *** many regions,energy utilization in the housing area is 30%–40%.The growth of smart homes has raised the requirement for intelligence in applications such as asset management,energy-efficient automation,security,and healthcare monitoring to learn about residents’actions and forecast their future *** overcome the challenges of energy consumption optimization,in this study,we apply an energy management *** fusion has recently attracted much energy efficiency in buildings,where numerous types of information are *** proposed research developed a data fusion model to predict energy consumption for accuracy and miss *** results of the proposed approach are compared with those of the previously published techniques and found that the prediction accuracy of the proposed method is 92%,which is higher than the previously published approaches.

Healthcare Professionals’ Perceptions Towards Ai Integration in Jordan's Health Sector

PurposeThe impact of AI on healthcare is widely recognized there remains a scarcity of studies examining how doctors perceive and approach its use in medicine. This study aims to gather insights from healthcare providers in Jordan concerning the advantages of integrating AI into practices, their perspectives on AI applications in healthcare, and their views on the future role of AI in replacing key tasks within health *** survey was conducted among healthcare professionals working at facilities in Jordan. An online questionnaire was used to collect data on demographics, attitudes toward using AI for tasks, and opinions on the benefits of AI adoption. Categorical variables were presented as counts and percentages, while the continuous variables were interpreted as mean and standard deviation. The associations between the determinants and the outcomes were done using one-way ANOVA. Any test with a P-value 0.05 was considered *** total of 612 healthcare professionals participated in the survey with females comprising a majority of respondents (52.8%). The majority of respondents showed optimism about AI’s potential to improve and revolutionize the field, although there were concerns about AI replacing human roles. Generally, physical therapists, medical researchers, and pharmacists displayed openness to incorporating AI into their work routines. Younger individuals aged between 18 and 40 seemed accepting of AI in the domain. A significant portion of participants believed that AI could negatively impact job opportunities and reduce the time needed for diagnosing conditions, but did not find any correlation, between responses and *** conclude, the results of this study suggest that healthcare professionals, in Jordan, hold receptive views on incorporating artificial intelligence in the medical field similar to their counterparts in developed nations. This research introduces a novel dual-pathway convolutional neural network (DP-CNN) architecture tailored for robust performance in Log-Mel spectrogram image analysis derived from raw multichannel electromyography signals. The primary objective is to assess the effectiveness of the proposed DP-CNN architecture across three datasets (NinaPro DB1, DB2, and DB3), encompassing both able-bodied and amputee subjects. Performance metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score, are employed for comprehensive evaluation. The DP-CNN demonstrates notable mean accuracies of 94.93 ± 1.71% and 94.00 ± 3.65% on NinaPro DB1 and DB2 for healthy subjects, respectively. Additionally, it achieves a robust mean classification accuracy of 85.36 ± 0.82% on amputee subjects in DB3, affirming its efficacy. Comparative analysis with previous methodologies on the same datasets reveals substantial improvements of 28.33%, 26.92%, and 39.09% over the baseline for DB1, DB2, and DB3, respectively. The DP-CNN’s superior performance extends to comparisons with transfer learning models for image classification, reaffirming its efficacy. Across diverse datasets involving both able-bodied and amputee subjects, the DP-CNN exhibits enhanced capabilities, holding promise for advancing myoelectric control. © 2024 the Author(s), licensee AIMS Press.

The developed models were tested for adequacy and the effectiveness of information technology methods for processing diagnostic information based on complex data was evaluated. The obtained indicators of informativeness of diagnostic tools showed high values of sensitivity, specificity and accuracy, the latest coincides with the actual one by no less than 94.39. A control study of the effectiveness of the methods showed that it was possible to reduce the time spent on diagnosis by at least 8.97%. © 2022 IEEE.
