This study examines the academic field of Artificial Intelligence in Education (AI-ED) by examining the publications and indexed documents in Scopus from 2010 to 2023. Consequently, we examined the publishing trends, exemplary articles, and the most engaged participants and funding institutions in the domain of AI-ED research. A bibliometric analysis was performed to examine the network of co-authorships, keywords, and citations in the domain of AIED research. The Scopus search resulted in the discovery of 10,474 published documents on AI-ED. Additionally, trends analysis indicated a significant increase of over 3,000% in publications between 2010 and 2023. Conference papers are the most often utilized document type, including 6757 publications or 64.5% of the overall amount. The ACM International Conference Proceeding Series is the primary source for published materials, accounting for 675 publications or 6.44% of the total publications on the topic. The most prolific researchers in the field of AI-ED are Breazeal, C and Chai C.S, each having published 18 documents. Additionally, the two institutions that have produced the highest number of published documents are Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) and the University of NC State University (NCSU). The output of the affiliations active in the topic is primarily attributed to the funders, specifically the National Science Foundation, which is the leading funding institution based in the United States and has contributed to 354 publications. An analysis of keyword co-occurrence revealed 6 main study areas that cover the essential tools, theories, methodologies, and socioeconomic and financial aspects of artificial intelligence in education (AIED). Future research in the field of artificial intelligence in education will focus on employing sophisticated deep learning, machine learning, and neural network algorithms to precisely predict students' learning patterns. © 2024 IEEE.

This paper introduces a novel edge device architecture designed to optimize solar energy management systems. Behavior trees (BTs) have been extensively applied in the area of both computer games and robotics, as the control architectures. However, the construction of BTs is labor-expensive, time-consuming, and even impossible as the complexity of task increases. In this work, we propose a formal verification based synthesis method to automatically construct BTs whose behaviors satisfy the given Linear Temporal Logic (LTL) specifications. Our method first explores candidate BTs by a grammar-based Monte Carlo Tree Search (MCTS), then the explored BTs are transformed into Communicating Sequential Processes (CSP) models. After that, we invoke the verifier to check the models’ correctness w.r.t. specifications, and provide feedback based on the verification result for guiding the search process. Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a slowly progressing, irreversible brain condition that weakens memory and negatively affects the patient's quality of life. Alzheimer's disease (AD) can be identified using Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) data. For an early diagnosis of the disease, various medical and diagnostic approaches are being investigated. Even while MRI is a useful tool for locating AD-related brain symptoms, the acquisition process is time-consuming, largely because workflow bottlenecks must be manually evaluated. In order to find the best effective method for detecting the disease, this research examines the basic technique for analyzing MRI images. To carry out our study to slow progression of the disease by the use of Alzheimer's disease (AD) prognosis, a dataset from The Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) will be imported and fitted. The outcomes highlight the tremendous potential of integrating imaging data for automated categorization of Alzheimer's disease (AD) using multidisciplinary AI techniques. With a deep three-dimensional convolutional network (3D CNN) being used to handle the three-dimensional MRI input and a Transformer encoder being applied to manage the genetic sequence input, the suggested solution merges machine learning, bioinformatics, and other image processing techniques. After various experiments by checking the results accuracy, it is stated that the CNN model is never enough to provide us with the desired accuracy either by training on both skull stripped data or the GM tissue segmented data. Although, it is relatively better at the skull stripped dataset training, but the results accuracy and predicted classes show that inferring some classifiers after extracting the features from the CNN would increase the accuracy and results. As technology continues to evolve rapidly, cybersecurity has become a critical global concern. The increasing sophistication of cyber threats poses significant risks to individuals, businesses, and governments. To combat these threats, cybersecurity tools play a crucial role in monitoring, detecting, and mitigating security risks in digital environments. These tools ensure data protection, prevent unauthorized access, and safeguard sensitive information. However, traditional cybersecurity approaches are struggling to keep pace with emerging cyber-attacks. File labeling techniques have a long history in analyzing the anthological trends in computational *** situation becomes worse in the case of files downloaded into systems from the ***,most users either have to change file names manually or leave a meaningless name of the files,which increases the time to search required files and results in redundancy and duplications of user ***,no significant work is done on automated file labeling during the organization of heterogeneous user files.A few attempts have been made in topic ***,one major drawback of current topic modeling approaches is better *** rely on specific language types and domain similarity of the *** this research,machine learning approaches have been employed to analyze and extract the information from heterogeneous corpus.A different file labeling technique has also been used to get the meaningful and`cohesive topic of the *** results show that the proposed methodology can generate relevant and context-sensitive names for heterogeneous data files and provide additional insight into automated file labeling in operating systems.

Short linewidth light lasers are essential for a wide range of applications, including quantum computing, spectroscopy, and sensing. Stimulated Brillouin scattering is an intriguing method for achieving extremely coherent light laser output. The demonstration of an unstable pulsed Brillouin erbium fiber laser (BFL) operating at kHz is shown here. The BFL works at 1550.1 nm, which is 0.09 nm higher than the Brillouin pump wavelength since the dispersion compensating fiber was pumped over the 24.77 mW threshold. It has an extreme power of 0.7 dBm, a side-mode suppression ratio of 29 dB, and a pump power of 59.12 mW at 980 nm. Due to the intrinsic instability in relaxation oscillation, which generates the nonlinear self-pulsing mechanism in the BEFL cavity, the BEFL produced a pulse train running at 200.9 kHz with a 24.77 mW pump. The pulse frequency was raised to 3.02 MHz. The pump power has been increased to 59.12 mW. Yet, as the pump power was raised further, more than one pulse was produced. This is the first example of generating kHz pulses in a BFL cavity. The laser system is straightforward, small, and all-fiber. These are the attempts of experimental work to realize the BFL with Q-switched multi-wavelength output using a specific length of DCF to generate the pulses. © 2023 IEEE.

This comprehensive review starts with diving into the progress and real-world applications of combining multi-omics data analysis with machine learning techniques in cancer research. Multi-omics involves examining various biological data types like genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, and metabolomics together to enhance our understanding of complex biological systems. By merging machine learning with multiomics data, we highlight the advantages for cancer studies, the deeper insights they yield and increased performance and results. Furthermore, we explore existing literature that showcases the integration of multi-omics and machine learning in cancer research. As part of our study, we conduct an experiment utilizing a multiomics dataset to predict the survival of breast cancer patients. We compare three distinct machine learning methods-ensemble, DeepProg, and DCAP-for survival prediction and conclude that despite the ensemble method that increased the prediction results of DeepProg over DCAP in multi-model setting, but the primitive capacity for DCAP is better in single model setting and achieves higher accuracy than DeepProg with noticeable margin 0.628 to 0.57 on C-Index metric, which strongly recommends using Denoising Autoencoder as the base for dimensionality reduction over the vanilla Autoencoder. Another empirical results conclude that using gaussian mixture model with diagonal covariance matrix for Clustering, which is used in DeepProg, might hinder the process for identifying reasonable clusters due to the assumption of no or zero correlation between different features which might not hold true in our problem.

This study analyses the weekly scheduling challenge of health and medical information network service function chains to meet medical emergency categorization and grading needs. Emergency services are divided into four sorts by urgency and service area, with priorities and weights. The health and medical information network architecture, service model, and operation method are built accordingly. To reduce weighted completion time, a service function chain scheduling model is created. The function chain scheduling scheme is solved by matching game and Q -learning reinforcement learning algorithms for different issue scales. Finally, simulation studies demonstrate that this approach can accomplish graded medical emergency service, build health and medical information networks, and progress smart healthcare. © 2024 IEEE.
