This paper developed a new model called Single Rule Random Forest (SrRF) that enhances the performance of the Fandom Forest technique(RF)and reduces its rules, then compared the performance of this model with a set of ML models as follows (DT, RF, GPT) of the datasets provided by the Tax Authority of Yemen which consists of 1083 records using two values for k in K-Fold Cross Validation). The results showed that by using the value k=10, the GPT Classifier gave the highest result of 100 % but this result will cause overfitting, then the SRI-RF Classifier gave the best result with 99.89%, while RF gave the worst result. By using the value k=5, the GPT Classifier also gave the highest result of 100 % but this result also caused overfitting, then the SrRF Classifier gave the best result, while RF gave the worst result. From the above, the researchers also note that training the data using K-fold cross-validation with the value K=10 gave better results. On the other side, our proposed model SRIRF with the value of k=10 gave the best result. © 2024 IEEE.

The efficiency of businesses is often hindered by the challenges encountered in traditional Supply Chain Manage-ment(SCM),which is characterized by elevated risks due to inadequate accountability and *** address these challenges and improve operations in green manufacturing,optimization algorithms play a crucial role in supporting decision-making *** this study,we propose a solution to the green lot size optimization issue by leveraging bio-inspired algorithms,notably the Stork Optimization Algorithm(SOA).The SOA draws inspiration from the hunting and winter migration strategies employed by storks in *** theoretical framework of SOA is elaborated and mathematically modeled through two distinct phases:exploration,based on migration simulation,and exploitation,based on hunting strategy *** tackle the green lot size optimization issue,our methodology involved gathering real-world data,which was then transformed into a simplified function with multiple constraints aimed at optimizing total costs and minimizing CO_(2) *** function served as input for the SOA ***,the SOA model was applied to identify the optimal lot size that strikes a balance between cost-effectiveness and *** extensive experimentation,we compared the performance of SOA with twelve established metaheuristic algorithms,consistently demonstrating that SOA outperformed the *** study’s contribution lies in providing an effective solution to the sustainable lot-size optimization dilemma,thereby reducing environmental impact and enhancing supply chain *** simulation findings underscore that SOA consistently achieves superior outcomes compared to existing optimization methodologies,making it a promising approach for green manufacturing and sustainable supply chain management.

Language models excel in linguistic processing but often face challenges with complex reasoning tasks that require real-world interaction and multi-step logic. This paper presents the Cognitive Adaptive Reasoning Architecture (CARA), a framework that enhances reasoning by integrating a modular swarm architecture with knowledge graphs (KGs) and specialized agents. These agents, equipped with diverse tools, dynamically adapt to various tasks, actively engaging with real-world data. CARA's continuous memory update cycle ensures each reasoning step is based on up-to-date, contextual KG knowledge, enhancing decision-making. Incorporating human insights further aligns outcomes with nuanced cognition. Experimental results demonstrate CARA's superior performance over larger models, advancing language models' reasoning capabilities for more context-aware, informed decision-making in dynamic environments. © 2024 IEEE.

Machine Learning(ML)has changed clinical diagnostic procedures *** in Cardiovascular Diseases(CVD),the use of ML is indispensable to reducing human *** studies focused on disease prediction but depending on multiple parameters,further investigations are required to upgrade the clinical ***-layered implementation of ML also called Deep Learning(DL)has unfolded new horizons in the field of clinical *** formulates reliable accuracy with big datasets but the reverse is the case with small *** paper proposed a novel method that deals with the issue of less data *** by the regression analysis,the proposed method classifies the data by going through three different *** the first stage,feature representation is converted into probabilities using multiple regression techniques,the second stage grasps the probability conclusions from the previous stage and the third stage fabricates the final *** experiments were carried out on the Cleveland heart disease *** results show significant improvement in classification *** is evident from the comparative results of the paper that the prevailing statistical ML methods are no more stagnant disease prediction techniques in demand in the future.

Estimating the suitability of individuals for a vocation via leveraging the knowledge within cognitive factors comes with numerous applications: employment resourcing, occupation counseling, and workload management. Accordingly, the enterprises aim to hire the most suitable person from a massive array of similar applicants, maximizing performance and minimizing the gap between strategic indicators and predefined targets. While cognitive factors signify the best-suited person from similarly skilled workers, inferring pertinent latent cues from noisy and growing social network contents is time-intensive. To tackle the challenges involved, we propose a framework that, on the one hand, extends influential features based on the correlations between cognitive cues and, on the other hand, leverages a novel continuous transformer to mitigate the overlapping and approximation issues in discrete modeling. Rather than relying on discrete patterns that may evolve frequently, we use continuous elements that include not only numerous aggregating components but also sense minor irregular fluctuations. In a hybrid manner, we fuse multiple base models to transfer a higher representation to the meta-learning unit, agglomerating outputs from gradient boosters and the ConvNets. The experimental results show that our proposed framework can outperform trending vocation estimation methods by 1.36% in F1-Score and approximately 1% in accuracy. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2024.

Recovering high-quality inscription images from unknown and complex inscription noisy images is a challenging research *** fromnatural images,character images pay more attention to stroke ***,existingmodelsmainly consider pixel-level informationwhile ignoring structural information of the character,such as its edge and glyph,resulting in reconstructed images with mottled local structure and character *** solve these problems,we propose a novel generative adversarial network(GAN)framework based on an edge-guided generator and a discriminator constructed by a dual-domain U-Net framework,i.e.,*** existing frameworks,the generator introduces the edge extractionmodule,guiding it into the denoising process through the attention mechanism,which maintains the edge detail of the restored inscription ***,a dual-domain U-Net-based discriminator is proposed to learn the global and local discrepancy between the denoised and the label images in both image and morphological domains,which is helpful to blind denoising *** proposed dual-domain discriminator and generator for adversarial training can reduce local artifacts and keep the denoised character structure *** to the lack of a real-inscription image,we built the real-inscription dataset to provide an effective benchmark for studying inscription image *** experimental results show the superiority of our method both in the synthetic and real-inscription datasets.

Railway Track Fault Detection Using Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficient from Acoustic Data using Chi Square

Spatial, temporal, and weather elements like ballast, loose nuts, misalignment, and cracks due to rain, snow, and earthquakes may lead to railway accidents and cause human and financial loss. Manual inspection is erroneous, labor-intensive, and *** automatic inspection provides a fast, reliable, and unbiased solution in this regard, however, ensuring high accuracy for fault detection is challenging due to the lack of public datasets, noisy data, high computer processing requirements, and inefficient models. This study presents an approach that uses Mel frequency cepstral coefficient features from the acoustic data. The dataset gathered using a customized railway cart from our previous research is used for experiments. The focus of the study is to increase the fault detection performance using selective features from the acoustic data. This study employs Chisquare(Chi2) for the selection of important features and involves performance analysis of machine learning and deep learning models using selected features. Experimental results suggest that using 60 features, 40 original features, and 20 Chi2 features, produces optimal results both regarding accuracy and computational complexity. A 100%accuracy can be obtained using the proposed approach with machine learning models. Moreover, this performance is significantly better than existing approaches.

Wireless Capsule Endoscopy (WCE) emerged as an innovative and patient-centric approach for non-invasive and painless examination of the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. It serves as a pivotal tool in helping medical practitioners in the early detection of anomalies within the intricate domain of the human GI tract. The automated identification of aberrations assumes paramount significance, contributing not only to temporal efficiency but also to timely diagnosis. Within the realm of academic literature, a plethora of Artificial Intelligence (AI) methodologies have been proposed to effectuate the automatic classification, segmentation, and synthesis of anomalies inherent in WCE images. This scholarly endeavor undertakes a comprehensive and meticulous survey, elucidating the spectrum of anomaly classification, summarization, and detection techniques harnessed for computer-Aided Diagnosis (CAD) in the context of WCE images. The survey begins by delineating the methodologies underpinning WCE image classification and video processing. Subsequently, an exhaustive evaluation of techniques for analyzing WCE images is furnished, accompanied by an in-depth exploration of pertinent surveys, in addition to a judicious assessment of their merits and demerits. Furthermore, this study undertakes a rigorous evaluation of prevailing datasets utilized to benchmark the efficacy of various WCE techniques. Utilizing artificial intelligence(AI)to protect smart coastal cities has become a novel vision for scientific and industrial *** of these AI technologies is using efficient and secure multi-environment Unmanned Vehicles(UVs)for anti-submarine *** study’s contribution is the early detection of a submarine assault employing hybrid environment UVs that are controlled using swarm optimization and secure the information in between UVs using a decentralized cybersecurity *** Dragonfly Algorithm is used for the orientation and clustering of the UVs in the optimization approach,and the Re-fragmentation strategy is used in the Network layer of the TCP/IP protocol as a cybersecurity *** research’s noteworthy findings demonstrate UVs’logistical capability to promptly detect the target and address the problem while securely keeping the drone’s geographical *** results suggest that detecting the submarine early increases the likelihood of averting a *** dragonfly strategy of sensing the position of the submersible and aggregating around it demonstrates the reliability of swarm intelligence in increasing access *** communication between Unmanned Aerial Vehicles(UAVs)improves the level of secrecy necessary for the *** swarm navigation is based on a peer-to-peer system,which allows each UAV to access information from its ***,in turn,helps the UAVs to determine the best route to take and to avoid collisions with other *** dragonfly strategy also increases the speed of the mission by minimizing the time spent finding the target.
