The mobile cellular network provides internet connectivity for heterogeneous Internet of Things(IoT)*** cellular network consists of several towers installed at appropriate locations within a smart *** cellular towers can be utilized for various tasks,such as e-healthcare systems,smart city surveillance,traffic monitoring,infrastructure surveillance,or sidewalk *** is a primary concern in data broadcasting,particularly authentication,because the strength of a cellular network’s signal is much higher frequency than the associated one,and their frequencies can sometimes be aligned,posing a significant *** a result,that requires attention,and without information authentication,such a barrier cannot be ***,we design a secure and efficient information authentication scheme for IoT-enabled devices tomitigate the flaws in the e-healthcare *** proposed protocol security shall check formally using the Real-or-Random(ROR)model,simulated using ProVerif2.03,and informally using pragmatic *** comparison,the performance phenomenon shall tackle by the already result available in the MIRACL cryptographic lab.

Feature selection is a cornerstone in advancing the accuracy and efficiency of predictive models, particularly in nuanced domains like socio-economic analysis. This study explores nine distinct feature selection methods, utilizing a heart disease dataset as a representative model for complex socio-economic systems. Our findings identified four universally recognized features as critical across all selection methods. However, the divergence in significance attributed to other features by different methods underscores the inherent variability in selection techniques. When the top four features were incorporated into twelve classification models, a noticeable surge in predictive accuracy was observed, emphasizing their foundational role in enhancing model outcomes. The variations among methods stress the need for a methodical and discerning approach to feature selection, especially in data-rich socio-economic landscapes. As we venture further into an era defined by data-driven decision-making, rigour and precision in feature selection become indispensable. Future research should extend this approach to broader datasets, ensuring the robustness and adaptability of our findings. © The author(s) 2025.

High-dimensional and incomplete(HDI) matrices are primarily generated in all kinds of big-data-related practical applications. A latent factor analysis(LFA) model is capable of conducting efficient representation learning to an HDI matrix,whose hyper-parameter adaptation can be implemented through a particle swarm optimizer(PSO) to meet scalable ***, conventional PSO is limited by its premature issues,which leads to the accuracy loss of a resultant LFA model. To address this thorny issue, this study merges the information of each particle's state migration into its evolution process following the principle of a generalized momentum method for improving its search ability, thereby building a state-migration particle swarm optimizer(SPSO), whose theoretical convergence is rigorously proved in this study. It is then incorporated into an LFA model for implementing efficient hyper-parameter adaptation without accuracy loss. Experiments on six HDI matrices indicate that an SPSO-incorporated LFA model outperforms state-of-the-art LFA models in terms of prediction accuracy for missing data of an HDI matrix with competitive computational ***, SPSO's use ensures efficient and reliable hyper-parameter adaptation in an LFA model, thus ensuring practicality and accurate representation learning for HDI matrices.

Constructing a hybrid activation and parameter-fusion based CNN medical image classifier

In recent years, numerous deep learning models for medical image classification have emerged, with varying accuracies influenced by factors like image quality, content, and the convoluted low-level features. In this article, we aim to identify key features that enhance the precision of convolutional neural networks (CNNs), which are widely employed in this domain. We empirically demonstrate that parameters like activation functions, image augmentation, convolutional layers, filter sizes, and max pooling significantly impact precision, while others like hidden layers, epochs, and batch sizes affect quality and runtime negatively. To validate our proposal, we use a publicly-available dataset of colored Breast Cancer images which comprises 27,751 images distributed over three sub-datasets as follows: 4162 testing images (2980 no cancer and 1182 with cancer), 19,426 training images (13,911 no cancer and 5515 with cancer), and 4163 validation images (2981 no cancer and 1182 with cancer). Multiple experimental runs were conducted, and the outcomes of each run were recorded, taking into account various evaluation metrics and components of the CNN architecture. Results demonstrate that the highest CNN classifier’s accuracy was achieved when coupling RelU and Sigmoid activation functions using a 3 × 3 filter with a batch of size 32 and 20 epochs and 2 hidden layers. A Similar accuracy rate (83.55%) has also been achieved when coupling ReLU and Sigmoid activation functions using the DensNet-201 pre-trained CNN model. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.

Smartphones contain a vast amount of information about their users, which can be used as evidence in criminal cases. However, the sheer volume of data can make it challenging for forensic investigators to identify and use the most relevant information. Neutrosophic logic is a generalization of fuzzy logic that allows for uncertainty and vagueness, making it a more potent tool for dealing with the ambiguity of real-world data. The proposed framework aims to identify and utilize the most relevant information for forensic investigators, making it easier to solve criminal cases using Neutrosophic logic. This novel approach provides a more powerful tool for dealing with the ambiguity of smartphone data, ultimately improving the accuracy and effectiveness of forensic investigations. Our research has utilized Neutrosophic logic to evaluate the degree of truth, falsity, or Indeterminacy of this information. Additionally, this study analyzes conversations between individuals using Excel’s fuzzy lookup add-in to determine the percentage of truth and false in each conversation. The results were compiled into a dataset and utilized a Neutrosophic Python code to evaluate the information. The results indicate the percentage of truth, false, and Indeterminacy in each conversation and which can be used to determine its admissibility as evidence and which not. © 2025, University of New Mexico. ChatGPT is a powerful artificial intelligence(AI)language model that has demonstrated significant improvements in various natural language processing(NLP) tasks. However, like any technology, it presents potential security risks that need to be carefully evaluated and addressed. In this survey, we provide an overview of the current state of research on security of using ChatGPT, with aspects of bias, disinformation, ethics, misuse,attacks and privacy. We review and discuss the literature on these topics and highlight open research questions and future *** this survey, we aim to contribute to the academic discourse on AI security, enriching the understanding of potential risks and mitigations. 5G wireless communication offers higher channel capacity, high data rate, sufficient bandwidth, enhanced coverage, and reliable link as compared to the previous generation mobile networks. Also, 5G becomes more relevant with the recent launches of low earth orbit satellites by various ventures like starlink, amazon, one web, etc. As these satellites have heights up to the range from 300 km to 1000 km, the free space path loss decreases drastically which in turn improves the signal reliability and efficient communication at dead spots. With these advancements, antenna researchers have the freedom to design compact, easy to manufacture, with adequate gain user equipment terminal antennas which can be easily integrated in the modern passenger car body. This paper will focus on the recent development in the design considerations of the compact antenna design at sub-6 GHz (n78 frequency band) and mm wave (n278 frequency band) according to 3gpp standards. This manuscript also discusses various design specifications like selection of material for antennas, design complexity, feeding methods, fabrication and measurement challenges and performance parameters which include reflection coefficient, gain, polarization, axial ratio, cross polarization discrimination, radiation efficiency, radiation pattern shape, etc. The proposed antenna design considerations will facilitate the possible integration into the various parts of the car body according to the recent vehicular applications for uninterrupted communication. © 2024, Electromagnetics Academy. Visual question answering(VQA)is a multimodal task,involving a deep understanding of the image scene and the question’s meaning and capturing the relevant correlations between both modalities to infer the appropriate *** this paper,we propose a VQA system intended to answer yes/no questions about real-world images,in *** support a robust VQA system,we work in two directions:(1)Using deep neural networks to semantically represent the given image and question in a fine-grainedmanner,namely ResNet-152 and Gated Recurrent Units(GRU).(2)Studying the role of the utilizedmultimodal bilinear pooling fusion technique in the *** the model complexity and the overall model *** fusion techniques could significantly increase the model complexity,which seriously limits their applicability for VQA *** far,there is no evidence of how efficient these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques are for VQA systems dedicated to yes/no ***,a comparative analysis is conducted between eight bilinear pooling fusion techniques,in terms of their ability to reduce themodel complexity and improve themodel performance in this case of VQA *** indicate that these multimodal bilinear pooling fusion techniques have improved the VQA model’s performance,until reaching the best performance of 89.25%.Further,experiments have proven that the number of answers in the developed VQA system is a critical factor that *** the effectiveness of these multimodal bilinear pooling techniques in achieving their main objective of reducing the model *** Multimodal Local Perception Bilinear Pooling(MLPB)technique has shown the best balance between the model complexity and its performance,for VQA systems designed to answer yes/no questions.
