Bidirectional attentional mechanism for Arabic chatbot

A chatbot is an intelligent agent that developed based on Natural language processing (NLP) to interact with people in a natural language. The development of multiple deep NLP models has allowed for the creation of a vector representation of words and sentences that captures meaning in context. In this paper, a generative Arabic chatbot is trained with the Sequence to Sequence (Seq2Seq) model based on encoder-decoder architecture. It utilizes both the bi-directional encoder types of Gated Recurrent Units (GRU) and Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM). The chatbot was trained using preprocessed dataset of 12 k conversations that were translated from English to Arabic. An attention layer was provided to the RNNs to focus on the important data between the input and output sequences. The obtained results showed that the proposed chatbot performed well with long sentences and elicited positive responses. In addition to that BiLSTM with attention performs better than BiGRU without attention. This work proposes a novel image encryption algorithm that integrates unique image transformation techniques with the principles of chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems. By harnessing the unpredictable behavior of the Chua system and the hyper-chaotic nature of the Chen system, the algorithm carries out rescaling, rotation, and randomization on the target image. The intrinsic unpredictability and sensitivity to initial conditions of these chaotic systems endow the encryption algorithm with an expansive key space of 25208. This feature not only bolsters its resilience against brute-force attacks but also magnifies its overall security profile. The algorithm's efficiency is evident in its rapid computational speed and lean resource consumption, making it suitable for real-time applications. To gauge its robustness, a battery of rigorous tests and analyses, spanning differential attacks, statistical attacks, and brute-force assaults, were employed. The results validate its ability to resist a diverse spectrum of threats. With its expansive key space, exceptional efficiency, and sturdy defenses, the proposed algorithm emerges as a potential cornerstone for safeguarding digital images in arenas like secure communication, data storage, and multimedia transmission. In sum, this research pushes the boundaries of high-security image encryption methodologies, catering to the burgeoning demands of the digital age. © 2013 IEEE.

Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)is a neurodevelopmental condition characterized by significant challenges in social interaction,communication,and repetitive *** and precise ASD detection is crucial,particularly in regions with limited diagnostic resources like *** study aims to conduct an extensive comparative analysis of various machine learning classifiers for ASD detection using facial images to identify an accurate and cost-effective solution tailored to the local *** research involves experimentation with VGG16 and MobileNet models,exploring different batch sizes,optimizers,and learning rate *** addition,the“Orange”machine learning tool is employed to evaluate classifier performance and automated image processing capabilities are utilized within the *** findings unequivocally establish VGG16 as the most effective classifier with a 5-fold cross-validation ***,VGG16,with a batch size of 2 and the Adam optimizer,trained for 100 epochs,achieves a remarkable validation accuracy of 99% and a testing accuracy of 87%.Furthermore,the model achieves an F1 score of 88%,precision of 85%,and recall of 90% on test *** validate the practical applicability of the VGG16 model with 5-fold cross-validation,the study conducts further testing on a dataset sourced fromautism centers in Pakistan,resulting in an accuracy rate of 85%.This reaffirms the model’s suitability for real-world ASD *** research offers valuable insights into classifier performance,emphasizing the potential of machine learning to deliver precise and accessible ASD diagnoses via facial image analysis.

Nowadays, medical image fusion plays a crucial role in enhancing the diagnosis accuracy and the clinical decision-making process in various healthcare applications. This research work presents a comprehensive study of the design and implementation of optimized medical image fusion techniques using a combination of software and Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) technologies. The proposed medical image fusion strategy is based on the utilization of Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) and Modified Central Force Optimization (MCFO). The implementation of the proposed technique as well as the traditional medical image fusion techniques is considered using an appropriate software design and FPGA. The presented techniques aim to overcome the limitations of traditional fusion techniques by integrating advanced image processing algorithms, optimization algorithms, and parallel computing capabilities offered by FPGA platforms. The first step in the proposed framework is to match the histogram of one of the images with that of the other, so that both images will have the same dynamic range. After that, the DWT is used to decompose the images that should be fused together. Based on some constraints, the MCFO optimization algorithm is used to evaluate the optimum level of decomposition and the optimum parameters for the best fusion quality. Finally, to improve the obtained visual quality and reinforce the information in the fusion result, an additional contrast enhancement step using adaptive histogram equalization is applied to the fusion result. Comparative study between the proposed optimized DWT-based fusion framework, the traditional Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Additive Wavelet Transform (AWT), and DWT-based fusion techniques is presented. Various metrics of fusion quality are considered, including average gradient, standard deviation, local contrast, entropy, edge strength, Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR), Qab/f, and processing time. Sleep quality prediction in Internet of Things (IoT) involves leveraging a system of interrelated devices to gather as well as analyse related data. Smart devices like wearable devices or smart mattresses endlessly monitor many parameters such as body movement, heart rate, and environmental situations in bedroom. Real-time recommendations and feedback transported to consumers, allowing them to create informed lifestyle changes for superior sleep hygiene. As IoT ecosystem continues to develop, a combination of various data streams as well as classy analytics holds assurance for further refining sleep quality forecasts and improving overall well-being. The article designs a Bald Eagle Search Algorithm with Hierarchical Deep Learning for Internet of Things Assisted Sleep Quality Recognition (BESHDL-SQP) technique. The purpose of the BESHDL-SQP technique is to recognize and classify the quality of the sleep level in the IoT environment. In the presented BESHDL-SQP technique, the preliminary stage of data pre-processing using min–max normalization involved to normalize the input data. For predicting sleep quality, hierarchical long short-term memory (LSTM) technique exploited. Lastly, BES model utilized for optimal hyperparameter selection of LSTM method which helps in attaining enhanced results. To validate better performance of BESHDL-SQP technique, a huge range of simulation analysis is carried out. The selection of the appropriate curve type of overcurrent relay function is significant for achieving optimal coordination of overcurrent protection in distribution networks. In this study, we conducted a comprehensive analysis of the overcurrent relays performance regarding their different inverse time-current curve types. Additionally, different fault locations were taken into consideration. To investigate the impact of curve types on overcurrent relays coordination, we employed a uniform curve type for all overcurrent relays in two representative power systems. The results, encompassing three standardized IEC curve types, are presented, and analyzed to illustrate the efficacy of our proposed approach. Therefore, this study underscores the critical role that curve type selection has in determining the feasibility of attaining reasonably low overcurrent relay trip times. © 2024 IEEE.

As the demand for distance learning has increased, so has the need for electronic exams (e-exams). In e-exams, where video monitoring is used, one of the main tasks of the proctors is to detect cheating in exam videos. Monitoring a large number of videos is challenging for proctors, and summarizing videos to focus on cheating scenes can significantly reduce the difficulty of the monitoring task. Several important points should be taken into account in e-exam video summarization, such as various background, the clothes of each examinee, and the variety of video surveillance devices. One of the most effective methods for video summarization is the use of deep neural networks. However, the existing methods require a large dataset for training which is time consuming, besides, they are unable to accurately summarize the video containing a new background scene. In this paper, a deep learning-based method is proposed to recognize the objects in the scene and monitor any change in the examinee's body parts with different priorities. In this approach, the abnormal behaviors of the examinee can be automatically detected without the need for a pre-training with multiple background, then the video is automatically summarized. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method, while having a high processing speed, can summarize exam videos up to 70%. © 2023 IEEE.
