Works distribution is a routine carried out every day by the head of the branch in the SHARP Service Center. The accuracy of the labor division is very important to get customer satisfaction. Inappropriate work distribution can increase complaints from customers. Currently, works distribution in SHARP Service Center is carried out manually, where the works received on the selected system is then shared through the document provided. Time taken for this process is about 1.42 minutes on average for each damage reports. Speed of Service also depends on the Head of Department's expertise and experience. In this study, an automatic system based on Machine Learning will be designed for the technicians work distribution by using a combination of k Nearest Neighbor (k-NN) and Naïve Bayes. Naïve Bayes algorithm is used to improve the feature extraction accuracy by considering the feature below the average (α). Meanwhile, k-NN algorithm is used to classify the experimental data. From the study, it is found that the best of k value for k-NN algorithm is 15. It is known that a high number of accuracy values, the labor distribution can be more accurate. The validation of the proposed method is conducted by using a confusion matrix with a composition of 80% training data and 20% test data. The single Classifier test with the Naïve Bayes algorithm produces the highest accuracy value of 72.7%, while using k-NN algorithm is 81.5%. With a combination of Naive Bayes and k-NN algorithms, the accuracy value is increasing to 86%. This result shows that the proposed method improves the accuracy by 13.3% on single Naive Bayes algorithms and 4% on a single k-NN algorithm. The results obtained show that in the manual process, the average time per job is 1.42 minutes, while by using the proposed method, the average processing time is around 0.03 seconds per job. An increase of 2480 times faster is found and confirmed during the implementation of the proposed method. © 2022 IEEE.

Speech Recognition focuses on developing advanced technologies that can recognize and translate spoken language into text. Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR) is an Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology that captures human voice from a mi-crophone and analyzes it based on spoken words to comprehend natural language. In Ethiopia, ASR models have been developed for specific local languages such as Amharic, Tigrigna, Wolaytta, and Afaan Oromo, but there has been a lack of research on ASR models for the Hadiyyisa language, which is also spoken in Ethiopia. The research study designed and developed an ASR model for the Hadiyyisa language. The researchers collected data from native speakers of the Hadiyyisa language and used Python programming to design and develop the deep learning model for the Hadiyissa ASR model. Different methods and techniques were used in the study to achieve the research objectives and complete the entire research process. The proposed model utilized deep learning algorithms including RNN, LSTM, BiLSTM, and CNN, along with suitable feature extraction techniques such as Mel Frequency Cepstral Coefficients (MFCC). The accuracy of the proposed ASR model was evaluated through experimentation, which demonstrated that the BiLSTM model outperformed the other deep learning models with an overall accuracy of 90.95 % Based on the experimental evidence, the proposed model was found to be better suited for ASR for the Hadiyyisa language. © 2023 IEEE.

Many researchers have proposed various theories and techniques to estimate the value of Bitcoin. However, there is still a great opportunity to suggest a new approach to Bitcoin forecasting. This research will examine the concept of forming a patterned dataset to prove the hypothesis regarding the start of a bitcoin price fluctuation until the end of the fluctuation using patterned dataset pairs in conditions of price decline (moon) and in conditions of price decline (crash). Patterned datasets were initially built from data on the movement of all cryptocurrency assets on a digital cryptocurrency trading market. The Patterned Dataset is programmed based on the response of all crypto assets to changes in the price of bitcoin over time. Patterned datasets are better able to describe the conditions of the digital cryptocurrency market, along with patterns of potential increases and decreases in Bitcoin prices in particular and cryptocurrencies in general. To deepen the observations, resampling of the patterned dataset was carried out with a 4-hour timeframe using the mean, median, min, max, and sum filter functions on pairs of crash and moon conditions per month. The results show that filter functions other than sum, namely mean, median, min, and max, provide markings of fluctuation area patterns that are easier to recognize. Two hypotheses related to fluctuations were also successfully proven in this research. © 2023 IEEE.

Blockchain, Metaverse & NFT are technologies that were booming during the Pandemic. As a derivative product of blockchain, the Non-Fungible Token (NFT) is one of the technologies that has attracted the most interest from investors and the public because of its potential benefits and has always been closely associated with the Metaverse as a main purposes research of the NFTs. This paper is to explore the possibilities and provide an overview of the current use of NFT technology so that it can provide insight for further research & gap with the big picture that it is trying to present in this paper. However, after exploring further related to NFT in this research, it was found that the problem that most people are trying to solve through NFT is related to the topic of Decentralization & Web3 not as a Metaverse main backbone. © 2023 IEEE.

Industrial internet of things (IIoT) is the usage of internet of things(IoT) devices and applications for the purpose of sensing, processing andcommunicating real-time events in the industrial system to reduce the unnecessary operational cost and enhance manufacturing and other industrial-relatedprocesses to attain more profits. However, such IoT based smart industriesneed internet connectivity and interoperability which makes them susceptibleto numerous cyber-attacks due to the scarcity of computational resourcesof IoT devices and communication over insecure wireless channels. Therefore, this necessitates the design of an efficient security mechanism for IIoTenvironment. In this paper, we propose a hyperelliptic curve cryptography(HECC) based IIoT Certificateless Signcryption (IIoT-CS) scheme, with theaim of improving security while lowering computational and communicationoverhead in IIoT environment. HECC with 80-bit smaller key and parameterssizes offers similar security as elliptic curve cryptography (ECC) with 160-bitlong key and parameters sizes. We assessed the IIoT-CS scheme security byapplying formal and informal security evaluation techniques. We used Realor Random (RoR) model and the widely used automated validation of internet security protocols and applications (AVISPA) simulation tool for formalsecurity analysis and proved that the IIoT-CS scheme provides resistance tovarious attacks. Our proposed IIoT-CS scheme is relatively less expensivecompared to the current state-of-the-art in terms of computational cost andcommunication overhead. Furthermore, the IIoT-CS scheme is 31.25% and 51.31% more efficient in computational cost and communication overhead,respectively, compared to the most recent protocol.

First wetland mapping at 10-m spatial resolution in South America using multi-source and multi-feature remote sensing data

Wetland degradation has been accelerating in recent years globally. Accurate information on the geographic distribution and categories of wetlands is essential for their conservation and management. Despite being the world′s fourth largest continent, South America has limited research on wetland mapping, and there is currently no available map that provides comprehensive information on wetland distribution and categories in the region. To address this issue, we used Sentinel-1, Sentinel-2 and SRTM data, developed a sample collection method and a wetland mapping method with a collection of multi-source features such as optical features, polarization features and shape features for South American wetlands. We produced a 10-m resolution wetland map based on the Google Earth Engine(GEE) platform. Our Level-1 wetland cover map accurately captured six wetland sub-categories with an overall accuracy of 96.24% and a kappa coefficient of 0.8649, while our Level-2 water cover map included five sub-categories with an overall accuracy of 97.23% and a kappa coefficient of0.9368. The results show that the total area of existing wetlands in South America is approximately 1,737,000 km~2, which is6.8% of the total land area. Among the ten wetland categories, shallow sea had the largest area(960,527.4 km~2), while aquaculture ponds had the smallest area 1513.6 km~2. Swamp had the second largest area(306,240.1 km~2). Brazil, Argentina,Venezuela, Bolivia, and Colombia were found to have the largest wetland areas, with Brazil and Colombia having the most diverse wetland categories. This product can serve as baseline data for subsequent monitoring, management, and conservation of South American wetlands.

Hand, Foot and Mouth disease (HFMD) is a common viral childhood disease affected by the family of enterovirus and Coxsackie. Current laboratory identification is based on the RT-PCR test, which is expensive, time-consuming, and unsuitable for the pandemic. The SPR- TFBG was biofunctionalized with monoclonal antibody (Mab). Mab is a bioreceptor with an affinity for the virus for detecting EV-A71. A dataset of reflectance spectra of 660 samples of different virus impurities measured with SPR-TFBG biosensor to detect EV-71 virus was developed. The extracted signal has around 4000 different features based on wavelength information. The first subset was selected based on the region of interest analysis, and the dimension has reduced from 4000 to 1496 features. The dimensionality of the large feature set is reduced based on the statistical feature engineering procedure using 10 features including mean, variance, skewness, RMS, kurtosis, standard deviation, range, crest factor, impulse factor and shape factor. Subsequently, classification of the virus (signal) data is achieved through SVM and it is evaluated with different types of kernels. For the evaluation of classifiers, we used accuracy, sensitivity, precision and F1 score performance metrics. The obtained results of accuracy are 87.88 for linear SVM, 86.06 for radial basis, 75.76 for sigmoid SVM, and 75.15 for polynomial SVM, respectively. The results show that for our experiments, Linear SVM performs better than radial, polynomial and sigmoid kernels. This is because projecting the data onto higher dimensions is not required as data exhibits linear properties confirmed by White Neural Network (WNN) test for nonlinearity. © 2022 IEEE.

Emotion recognition using brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) is an emerging field with the ongoing challenge of developing robust and efficient classification methods. This study introduces an original approach, the multi-representation convolutional neural network (MrCNN), designed to exploit the complementary features of recurrence plots (RP) and spectrograms. The efficacy of this new method was empirically evaluated and compared with the standalone RP and spectrogram methods in emotion classification tasks using electroencephalogram (EEG) signals. Two widely used datasets, DEAP and SEED, were used as the experimental platforms for this study. Employing a multifaceted analytical approach involving descriptive statistics, data visualization, and hypothesis tests, this study revealed that MrCNN significantly outperforms the standalone RP and spectrogram methods in terms of key performance metrics. Specifically, MrCNN achieved an accuracy of 0.9663, sensitivity of 0.9848, specificity of 0.9825, kappa score of 0.9511, and F1 score of 0.9656 for the DEAP dataset. For the SEED dataset, the accuracy was 0.9695, with sensitivity, specificity, kappa scores, and F1 score of 0.9844, 0.9842, 0.9543, and 0.9695, respectively. These results were statistically validated, and a comparative analysis with existing literature substantiated the robustness and superiority of the MrCNN method. This study sets new performance benchmarks and offers a reliable and effective approach for emotion classification using EEG signals. © 2023 IEEE.

Billions of Muslims across the globe consider Madinah in Saudi Arabia to be a holy city, thus it attracts millions of visitors every year. Therefore, cases of overcrowding, slow arrival of emergency services, and increased danger to life, can be regular occurrences if not managed efficiently. Consequently, this study aimed to address these abovementioned factors via the utilisation of many tools and mechanisms including cameras, image processing, tracking system, Artificial intelligence hubs, Network Data, Mobile- enabled internet of things sensors etc., as well as data from previous studies and Saudi government agencies. As a result, four main components were realised in the process of creating our proposed framework: control and analysis of traffic signals, control and analysis of human crowding, possessing smart emergency services in real time, and securing data through its collection, storage, and sharing. The combination of all four components fulfils the goals of this research and provides a more robust and efficient environment via improved coordination between different government departments in Madinah, effective emergency services, and improved speed of decision-making, which saves lives in cases of emergency situations where emergency services can attend to the points of concern efficiently and prevents deaths in events of stampedes via the appropriate control and management of crowds.
