many organizations such as online organizations, hospitals, and universities use massive amounts of customer information and use Database systems to enter their data. Many services and benefits are provided by these organizations to the public. The organizations want to publish the data and information for the purpose of research and analysis to obtain many benefits and advantages to improve their work. On the other hand, the data include individuals' sensitive and private information, therefore, organizations are concerned about the security as well privacy;in fact privacy is an important issue when organizations publish their data. This paper suggests a technique to preserve the privacy of the information. The proposed technique uses the ECLAT algorithm which is efficiently mined using the vertical data format. In addition to the ECLAT algorithm, the proposed technique uses some extra steps to process and manage data and to be prepared and secure for publishing. © 2023 IEEE.

This paper contributes a sophisticated statistical method for the assessment of performance in routing protocols salient Mobile Ad Hoc Network(MANET)routing protocols:Destination Sequenced Distance Vector(DSDV),Ad hoc On-Demand Distance Vector(AODV),Dynamic Source Routing(DSR),and Zone Routing Protocol(ZRP).In this paper,the evaluation will be carried out using complete sets of statistical tests such as Kruskal-Wallis,Mann-Whitney,and *** articulates a systematic evaluation of how the performance of the previous protocols varies with the number of nodes and the mobility *** study is premised upon the Quality of Service(QoS)metrics of throughput,packet delivery ratio,and end-to-end delay to gain an adequate understanding of the operational efficiency of each protocol under different network *** findings explained significant differences in the performance of different routing protocols;as a result,decisions for the selection and optimization of routing protocols can be taken effectively according to different network *** paper is a step forward in the general understanding of the routing dynamics of MANETs and contributes significantly to the strategic deployment of robust and efficient network infrastructures.

The exponential growth of internet traffic causes significant challenges for network traffic classification, such as maintaining data privacy and requiring more computing resources. To address such challenges, moving the processing to data instead of the opposite shows some promise. Related technologies, such as edge computing, present a potential solution as they reduce latency and bandwidth and consider data privacy. However, edge computing often runs on resource-constraint devices, thus making complex model training like deep learning challenging. As such, this paper proposes a distributed and lightweight edge training method for network traffic classification using federated learning and XAI, which are currently underexplored in the domain. In doing so, we managed to run deep learning on edge devices and preserve data privacy. We evaluate the proposed method using the ISCXVPN2016 dataset on three NVIDIA Jetson devices to emulate edge devices. The results show a 36.71% improvement in F1 score, training time, memory, and GPU utilization when benchmarked against the more conventional centralized training. © 2023 IEEE.

Incremental learning is learning of new information without forgetting previous knowledge. Implementation of incremental learning faces the biggest challenge of catastrophic forgetting problem due to stability-plasticity dilemma, algorithms should adapt new information with retaining of previously learned information. So, for providing accurate implementation of incremental learning. We studied the incremental learning process in humans and focused on brain 's hippocampus memory involved in learning, information retaining, or recalling. and. By inspiration of human 's brain working and architecture we proposed a model in layered architecture, connected hierarchically. First, we develop working memory to automatically extract features 's vector of input images using CNN 's VGGNet architecture. Second, we develop episodic memory and input feature vector from working memory. Episodic memory is build using recurrent neural network to implement incremental learning with achievement of stability by adjusting weights of neuron and plasticity by adding neuron for unseen input. Also, episodic memory 's network balance by deleting outlier's node or edges. having no connection represents no information. Performance of proposed model is evaluated by incrementally learning of KTH dataset's frame and made comparison with already implementation of IL approaches. © 2023 IEEE.

In this project, we present a solution that introduce game credit as incentive in a volunteer computing project. The aim of our method to introduce a new way to motivate volunteers in VC project. The proposed method is to perform game-based microtransaction in VC project. Volunteers that have completed a certain amount of task are given a token that can be converted into game credit. This credit can be used to buy digital content in a specific game. To implement this concept, we built VCRT, a volunteer computing-based 3D rendering that allows volunteers to render part of the image. Upon completion, volunteer receives a token that can be converted into Arcturus Dawn, a 2D platformer game built specifically for this project. We performed the test by inviting 5 volunteers to collaborate to render an image and perform an interview to measure the effectiveness of our proposed method. Based on our interview with the volunteers, overall, our method was able to motivate them to collaborate on the project. © 2023 IEEE.

Web technologies are the fundamental platforms for educational organizations, and thus, assessing their usability and accessibility is inevitable. The study examines the usability and accessibility of 134 university homepages in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. The websites are evaluated using automated online testing techniques. The research indicates that the evaluated websites had low levels of WCAG 2.0 compliance. According to the findings, websites in Qatar performed better in terms of homepage usability and accessibility than websites in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. Usability and security were not significant concerns, but there was room for advancement. This study provides web developers with recommendations for improving the accessibility and usability of university websites and homepages. © 2023 IEEE.

In game development, procedural method is a common method to reduce the high cost of content generation by artist. The idea of procedural content generation is to automate the generation content by developing a set of algoritmhs and rules based on the property of the content. Dungeon map generation plays a crucial role in creating immersive and challenging experiences in top-down roleplaying games (RPGs). This paper presents an approach to enhance dungeon map generation by combining the Binary Space Partition (BSP) algorithm and L-System that able to generate game-ready dungeon map. The proposed method uses BSP algorithm to perform an efficient space partition an L-System to generate diverse and visually appealing corridor between rooms. To validate the proposed system, we build a simple RPG game that employs our generator to generate a random dungeon network on each game session. The results shows that our method able to generate playable dungeon with a good level of playability. © 2023 IEEE.

When it comes to university life, university services, and communication with staff, things can be difficult and complicated, especially for newly joined students. This paper provides TU-Smart Services application which focus on filling the gap between students, university services and staff with in Ta'if University (TU). Our App consists of four main features: Cody, a smart conversational chatbot agent, an interactive campus map to direct students within the campus, digital wallet to show all the university IDs, and Academic advisor communication session. Cody has been developed to ease the communication and transactions between students, university services and staff, while interactive campus map has been developed to guide students in the university campus. This project aims to increase the benefits for Taif University students and visitors to make their university services more efficient and reliable. © 2023 Elsevier B.V.. All rights reserved.

To provide anonymous communication, this paper proposes the implementation of a 5-node mix network using ElGamal encryption and XOR Shuffling. An algorithm for a 5-node mix network with XOR shuffling has been presented. The study carefully examines the processing time at each node and determines the load factor linked to each node using MATLAB simulation. By utilizing a shuffling technique to break the connection between nodes, the mix network successfully achieves communication anonymity. The effectiveness of this approach in maintaining anonymity and controlling communication load is persuasively shown by the data that are presented. The knowledge of mix networks and their function in protecting user privacy in digital communication systems is enhanced by this research. This study establishes a platform for future research and optimization of mix network deployments by offering empirical proof of its efficacy. These developments could improve digital communication networks’ security and privacy in a number of situations. © Bharati Vidyapeeth's Institute of computer Applications and Management 2024.
