The Confluence of Big Data and Cloud Computing in SME Adoption Strategies

This paper explores the adoption of cloud computing and big data technologies in small and medium enterprises (SMEs), focusing on synthesizing key factors influencing adoption. By conducting a comprehensive literature review and analyzing theoretical frameworks such as the technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework, this study proposes a novel conceptual model tailored to the unique socio-economic context of SMEs in the MENA region. The methodology includes an analysis of 30 research articles, highlighting enablers and barriers to adoption. Key contributions include a taxonomy of factors and actionable insights for policymakers and practitioners. This research addresses gaps in existing studies by providing a region-specific perspective on cloud computing and big data technologies adoption for SMEs. This strong tendency towards services provided by cloud computing is very clear, and to shape their future IT, it's worth highlighting the existence of such technology. A synthesis of the literature on cloud computing adoption was presented in this paper classifying reviews based on factors that play an important role in taking the adoption decision incorporating the theoretical frameworks. Moreover, the relationship between big data and cloud computing has been explored. In addition to proposing a synthesized findings model, this paper includes various factors derived from the literature and related theoretical frameworks. In this paper we select research articles from broadly recognized research databases, as well as undertaking a comprehensive review of these selected articles focusing on the adoption of cloud computing and big data. It also includes a bibliography containing the most relevant publications in these domains, from 2011 to 2024. Lung cancer is the most lethal form of cancer. This paper introduces a novel framework to discern and classify pulmonary disorders such as pneumonia, tuberculosis, and lung cancer by analyzing conventional X-ray and CT scan images called lung cancer risk prediction (LCRP) model. LCRP has four modules, namely data collection and preprocessing, data augmentation module, image segmentation module, and prediction module. Actually, LCRP employs three deep learning models;sequential model, functional model, and transfer model on publicly available training datasets. Convolutional neural networks (CNNs) have emerged as a highly effective field in machine learning, particularly for image datasets in the field of biomedical applications. The primary goal is to validate these models by comparing their performance with other models in order to determine their effectiveness in addressing challenging datasets. Our research has revealed a noteworthy enhancement in the efficiency of binary and multi-class classification using mask R-CNN image segmentation. During the model training process, a combination of Adam and stochastic gradient descent dual optimizers has been used to improve performance. LCRP have outperformed current pre-trained models by minimizing training parameters, computational costs, and overhead. It introduces 98.5% accuracy, 88.7% specificity, 89% sensitivity, 89.2% precision, and 89.09% F-measure. © The Author(s), under exclusive licence to Springer-Verlag London Ltd., part of Springer Nature 2025.

ChatGPT is a powerful artificial intelligence(AI)language model that has demonstrated significant improvements in various natural language processing(NLP) tasks. However, like any technology, it presents potential security risks that need to be carefully evaluated and addressed. In this survey, we provide an overview of the current state of research on security of using ChatGPT, with aspects of bias, disinformation, ethics, misuse,attacks and privacy. We review and discuss the literature on these topics and highlight open research questions and future *** this survey, we aim to contribute to the academic discourse on AI security, enriching the understanding of potential risks and mitigations. We anticipate that this survey will be valuable for various stakeholders involved in AI development and usage, including AI researchers, developers, policy makers, and end-users.

In this work, a novel methodological approach to multi-attribute decision-making problems is developed and the notion of Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures (HNSDM) is introduced. By averaging the Penta-Partitioned Neutrosophic Distance Measures under particular conditional criteria, the suggested technique ranks the options. Additionally, we explore the fundamental characteristics of HNSDM and provide several illustrative theorems. The Heptapartitioned Neutrosophic Set Distance Measures are formulated based on the Hepta Neutrosophic Set. Lastly, a practical numerical example is provided to illustrate the efficacy of the suggested methodology. © 2025, University of New Mexico. All rights reserved.

CNN-Based Multi-Output and Multi-Task Regression for Supershape Reconstruction from 3D Point Clouds

In a number of industries, including computer graphics, robotics, and medical imaging, three-dimensional reconstruction is essential. In this research, a CNN-based Multi-output and Multi-Task Regressor with deep learning capabilities is proposed for three-dimensional object reconstruction from 3D point cloud. Our approach is grounded in the original Point Net architecture, which addresses the difficulties associated with convolution when applied to point clouds. Firstly, this paper is modified using a Multi-Output Regressor to accurately recreate Super forms from 3D point clouds. Using this method, we first extract features from the 3D point cloud using Point Net. After that, a Multi-Output Regressor receives these data and uses them to anticipate the Super shape parameters needed to reconstruct the shape. Taking in the data, the Multi-Output Regressor retrieved characteristics from Point Net and simultaneously predicts several outcomes. Second, a Multi-Task Regressor is used to modify the Point Net. The network gains from the capacity to transfer knowledge from one task to another, improving the model's overall performance. The model would forecast the ten parameters needed to create the shape in the case of rebuilding Super shapes. The test findings were better than expected;they are intriguing in terms of prediction accuracy and cost, and they update the result by 80%, which is a good accomplishment for the study. © 2025 Slovene Society Informatika. Blood pressure (BP) is a vital parameter in medical treatment and diagnosis, and as a non-invasive method to measure BP, some deep learning models have been proposed to estimate BP from photoplethysmograms (PPGs). However, the datasets and the method of dividing them into training and testing subsets are not uniform, making it difficult to compare them fairly. In this study, we compared the performance of nine deep learning models for estimating systolic and diastolic BP using PPGs. We used PulseDB, which has "calibration-based subset"and "calibration-free subset"as test subsets. The calibration-based subset has the same subject's data in the training subset, and the calibration-free subset does not have the same subject's data in the training subset. The results showed that ST-ResNet performed the best, and it is important to evaluate the models using both calibration-based and calibration-free subsets, and to prevent the overfitting by using the weight decay. © 2025 IEEE.

Unsupervised multiplex graph diffusion networks with multi-level canonical correlation analysis for multiplex graph representation learning

In recent years, unsupervised multiplex graph representation learning(UMGRL) has received increasing research interest, which aims to learn discriminative node features from the multiplex graphs supervised by data without the guidance of labels. Although these designed UMGRL methods have obtained great success in various graph-related tasks, most existing UMGRL models still have the following issues: highly depending on complex self-supervised strategies(i.e., data augmentation,pretext tasks, and negative pairs sampling), restricted receptive fields, and only aggregating low-frequency information between nodes. In this paper, we propose a simple unsupervised multiplex graph diffusion network(UMGDN) with the aid of multi-level canonical correlation analysis to solve the above issues. Specifically, we first decouple the feature transform and propagation processes of the graph convolution layer to further improve the generalization of the learnable parameters. And then, we propose adaptive diffusion propagation to capture long-range dependency relationships between nodes, not the local neighborhood interactions. Finally, a multi-level canonical correlation analysis loss on both the feature transform and propagation processes is proposed to maximize the correlation of the same node features from multiple graphs for guiding model optimization. Compared to the existing UMGRL models, our proposed UMGDN does not need to introduce any data augmentation, negative pairs sampling techniques, complex pretext tasks, and also adaptively aggregates the optimal frequency information between nodes to generate more robust node embeddings. Extensive experiments on four popular datasets and two graph-related tasks demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Enabling Ultralow-Latency Services with Ubiquitous Mobility by Means of a Compact Network Architecture

With the rapid development of emerging services such as cellular vehicle-to-everything and immersive video service, network connections have further evolved from tangible physical connections to intangible virtual connections such as content, services, and computing resources, and the application scenarios have become more abundant. The mobile ultra-service, which is characterized by ultra-low latency, ultra-high reliability, and ubiquitous mobility, is becoming one of the most representative traffic types. However, the existing mobile network architecture has not evolved sufficiently to meet the specific requirements of these mobile ultra-services, the mobility anchors introduce unnecessary node and link latency, leaving space for further optimization. A compact network architecture (ComArch) is proposed in this paper for ultralow-latency services with ubiquitous mobility. ComArch is designed with a mapping control plane and a generalized forwarding plane to collaboratively implement packet forwarding in mobile scenarios. The generalized forwarding plane handles packet forwarding, while the mapping control plane manages terminals’ identifier and locator mapping entries. The node latency introduced by mobility anchors is eliminated, and an efficient routing scheme is proposed to find the optimal mandatory nodes in the forwarding path, thereby reducing unnecessary link latency. Experimental results show that ComArch can effectively reduce end-to-end delay while saving resources. © 2002-2012 IEEE.

Border Gateway Protocol(BGP),as the standard inter-domain routing protocol,is a distance-vector dynamic routing protocol used for exchanging routing information between distributed Autonomous Systems(AS).BGP nodes,communicating in a distributed dynamic environment,face several security challenges,with trust being one of the most important issues in inter-domain *** research,which performs trust evaluation when exchanging routing information to suppress malicious routing behavior,cannot meet the scalability requirements of BGP *** this paper,we propose a blockchain-based trust model for inter-domain *** model achieves scalability by allowing the master node of an AS alliance to transmit the trust evaluation data of its member nodes to the *** BGP nodes can expedite the trust evaluation process by accessing a global view of other BGP nodes through the master node of their respective *** incorporate security service evaluation before direct evaluation and indirect recommendations to assess the security services that BGP nodes provide for themselves and prioritize to guarantee their security of routing *** forward the trust evaluation for neighbor discovery and prioritize the nodes with high trust as neighbor nodes to reduce the malicious exchange routing *** use simulation software to simulate a real BGP environments and employ a comparative experimental research approach to demonstrate the performance evaluation of our trust *** with the classical trust model,our trust model not only saves more storage overhead,but also provides higher security,especially reducing the impact of collusion attacks.
